Happy to be part of the Safari GOATS family! We just returned from a 6-day tour with Athuman, and it was simply fantastic! We highly recommend him. He is extremely friendly, funny, the best safari driver, and his knowledge is incredible! Not only does he know everything about the wildlife, but he also shares so much more about everything in Tanzania and African culture in general. Thank you again for this unforgettable adventure, Athuman! Hopefully, we’ll meet again someday! Best wishes and love, Bas and Lotte

My recent safari with Safari G.O.A.T.S. was an unforgettable adventure from start to finish. Starting in Arusha, we explored the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife of Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, enhancing every wildlife encounter—from the vast elephant herds in Tarangire to the awe-inspiring Great Migration in the Serengeti. Ngorongoro Crater was a standout, offering a dense variety of animals in a spectacular setting. We also took on the challenge of climbing Ol Doinyo Lengai, the Mountain of Gods, which rewarded us with breathtaking views from the summit. Our journey concluded in Zanzibar, where we enjoyed serene beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and the historic allure of Stone Town. The food at each of our stays was exceptional, adding to the overall experience. Safari G.O.A.T.S. provided seamless logistics, sustainable practices, and comfortable accommodations. For an unparalleled safari in Tanzania and a relaxing finish in Zanzibar, I highly recommend them. This trip gave me memories to cherish for a lifetime.

I recently experienced a once-in-a-lifetime safari with Safari G.O.A.T.S., and it was phenomenal from start to finish. Our journey began in Arusha and took us through the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife of Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. Our guides were exceptionally knowledgeable, making each wildlife encounter—like the massive elephant herds in Tarangire and the breathtaking Great Migration in the Serengeti—unforgettable. The highlight was exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, where we saw a rich variety of animals in a uniquely beautiful setting. We also climbed the Mountain of Gods, Ol Doinyo Lengai, which offered a challenging yet rewarding experience with spectacular views from the summit. Our adventure ended perfectly with a relaxing stay in Zanzibar, where we enjoyed pristine beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and the historic charm of Stone Town. Safari G.O.A.T.S. exceeded all expectations, providing seamless logistics, sustainable practices, and comfortable accommodations. I highly recommend them for an unparalleled safari experience in Tanzania, capped off with the serenity of Zanzibar. This trip created memories that will last a lifetime.

So, we’re do I start. We’ve booked a trip to Tanzania, first of all Because the country offers a great combination of wildlife animals, hiking, mountain climbing through amazing landscapes and beautiful nature and for sure a unique culture. Thanks to Safari GOATS and our Safari guide Frank we visited tons of places you normally would’t see if you book a trip on your own. Also I would like to thank Amir Harun and his team already. Amir was our mountain guide. He has roughly 16 years of experience climbing both Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Without this guy we couldn’t have reached both summits! The first day nearby Materuni we’ve made our own coffee and learned about the originin of arabica coffee together with the local tribe. After our lunch we got a chance to buy some coffee and cultural art work from this local tribe. I can tell you, these are real business people. Rarely there are fix prices, so you have to bargain to make a good deal. After that, the guide took us for a walk through Materuni (last village before Kilimanjaro, we’ll be climbing this big friend later on our trip) to finally reach the amazing waterfall. We also did Napuru waterfall, kanoed on Chala lake and visited kikuletwa (chemka) hot spring. Maaan this hot spring is amazing. The water is cristal clear. Could spend my whole trip here. You can swing from a rope, do a couple of backflips and I even saw a giant turtle! Upcoming days were the main reason why we booked this trip. We started on our 3-day trip to Mt. Meru. We were assisted by mountain guide Amir and his team. You can also climb this mountain on a 4-day trip. This gives you one extra day rest to come down, but costs an extra of $150/person due to permits etc. We decided to skip this last day and to directly start the descent after reaching summit overnight. I can tell you this is very demanding and extremely exhausting. But if you’re fit and you’re willing to push limits, you can do this. We started the summit hike at midnight. By 6am we reached summit. However the weather conditions were not good. Cold, moisture and a lot of wind made it hard to stay and watch sunrise. So, we descend and by 9am we were back at the huts. Took a little rest (2h) and start the descend to the mountain foot. Hard, but not impossible. Luckily Safari GOATS planned our safaris in between climbing the two mountains. This gave our body some time to recover! What to say about these safaris. With Frank we have had an amazing safari guide. His knowledge about wildlife surpasses any expectations. The roads of Ngorongoro and Serengeti are printed in his brains I guess. He knows very good we’re to look for wildlife. Giraffe, elephants, zebras, leopards, Cheetahs, lions and lioness. We saw it all. Like my fellow travel buddy, Arne, said: “words nor pictures can describe how magnificent this place is". After the safaris we headed towards Lake Natron. Climbed the active volcano Ol Doynio Lengai. You have to be really fit to climb this giant. With 3000m it’s not the highest mountain. But it’s insane steap! However, this volcano had by far most extraordinary view I have ever seen. We also had a very nice guide Leiyo. Very friendly young man. You could really tell that climbing this mountain is his passion. We ended our journey with a bang. Climbing Mt. kilimanjaro. 3 advices: 1) eat and drink as much as you can. 2) take your rest when you can. 3) Pole pole - never rush! It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon. This climb is not the hardest physically. But it’s the physical condition that make this mountain hard to climb. Freezing temperatures, extreme hights. Don’t ever rush. Especially on overnight summit. Avoide sweating and eat a lot. I passed out at 5.500m due to a lack of sugar. Even though I am 27 years old, very fit and have a good stamina. Luckily our guide took some drinks and snacks which made me recover very quickly. Once on top you immediately forget how painful and exhausting the hike is. And once more a special thank you to Amir and his crew. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have a good guide and e reliable Safari company. Just one small remark, and it’s not a blame to our safari company. However, Tanzania has a real tipping culture. Apart from a fee. The (mountain) guide also expects a tip. This vary a lot. For climbing mountains the tip is often higher because you have a whole crew. The mountain tip can vary from $30-50/day/traveler. So, also take into account the tips! I want to end with a big thank you to Safari GOATS. They have exceeded our expectations by far. It’s a rather small company. But that makes them very authentic, flexible towards us as clients. And also a special thanks to Uncle Nazoro. This man’s hospitality is your grandma’s hospitability myltiplied by 10. Lovely man with a big heart. Thank you SAFARI GOATS!

Stop! Look no further for the BEST tour guides in Tanzania. Eddie and the G.O.A.T.S team are Number 1. Let me explain why... All tour operators have access to the same wildlife parks, but only the BEST operators know how to get you the BEST locations for photos, and give you the best experience. 1) SERVICE: Outstanding customer care. Eddie had the experience to know when and how to look after his European guests. He went above and beyond to ensure that we felt amazing. 2) EXPERIENCE: The accommodation was high-luxury! The food was delicious. The game-drive and animal safaris were mind-blowing. Only Eddie can get YOU to the best places in the Serengeti. My wife and I had the most AMAZING time of our lives. Thanks Eddie!

Our trip with Safari GOATS was the best trip we’ve ever taken. We were pretty clueless about how to book a safari. after searching for hours, I found a very promising video on YouTube, which led me to Safari GOATS. After a lengthy search in our price range and selection of places we wanted to see, hiking in Ol Doinyo Lengai, one week in southern and one week in Western Tanzania, little did we know that everything was offered by Safari GOATS. It was relaxing and reassuring to know that they had planned all 15 days of safari, including Lodges, and meals, meaning that all we had to do was arrive in Arusha and relax. We were assisted by 4 guides in our whole 15-day trip, All of the guides were clearly interested in giving us the best experience possible, and in helping us make our safari dreams come true. We spent a whole week on a southern Tanzania safari tour, from Arusha NP, to Natron Lake, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti NP. We did not know that the endless safari moments were waiting for us. There was one thing after another that made our everyday very special, but without a doubt, Serengeti stands alone as one of the best. After summitting the Ol Doinyo Lengai which was a lifetime moment, we flew to Kigoma to visit Gombe NP, it was just another dream to come true, we spent 3 nights in the Gombe National Park, and we had close encounters with Chimpanzees. We are still not over with the memories. After spending a memorable 3 Nights in Gombe we drove to Katavi NP, which is one of the biggest NP in Tanzania, The landscape is so varied and the park just seems endless. our lodge was 2km from the home of Lions and 3 km from the river where you just see everything, hippos, giraffes, elephants, wild pigs, and many types of birds, we also spotted some crocodiles lounging along the river and patiently waiting for a chance at food. We enjoyed watching lions and cubs in the morning and evening, There were endless safari moments we’d been waiting for, and how to forget our only encounter with the notorious honey badger, our favorite animal. We were extremely happy that we chose Safari GOATS, and it ended up being the best trip we’ve ever taken and has given us memories to last a lifetime

After reading the great reviews and amazing instagram presence, we trusted Safari GOATS for a group of 6 friends. The whole experience from booking until dropping at airport was very professional and Safari GOATS team took great care of our wishes. We went for a tailor made Safari package for us. I would highly recommend them for this bucket list experience. We saw a lot of wildlife, stayed in Luxury camps, had an amazing guide with us, and enjoyed endless game drives. Our package was all inclusive (food, stays, game drives, guide, pickup/dropoff). We felt safe everywhere with Safari Goats from booking to middle of Serengeti/wilderness to shopping in Tanzania. They really live upto their names - Safari GOATS (Greatest of all times). Very informative instagram page. After the Safari, you will never be the same and become a member of the GOATS family as we are now.

We had the most amazing life experience with Safari Goats. Eddy Billy was our guide and had a very deep and insightful knowledge of the wildlife and nature that we were immersed in. He looked after us so well ensuring we were able to see as much wildlife as possible, take all the pictures and sights, find toilet facilities for us as well as keeping us well fed and hydrated! The Safari Goats team were excellent and took care of absolutely everything from pickup at the airport to returning us there. The accommodation, food, vehicle, planning and arrangement as well as the unreal energy he had to drive while looking out for wildlife and manage the tricky terrain of the Serengeti. Would hugely recommend Safari Goats they really are the Greatest of All Time!

This trip was a dream come true! I went with my husband and I had an incredible experience! We went to different National Parks and we saw so many animals! The accommodations the safari team booked for us were incredible. Eddy and his team have a lot of experience and they made the perfect itinerary. I went on rainy season so driving skills and knowledge were really important. I didn’t know I was gonna be so close to the wildlife and they made it possible and I was so happy about it. I really recommend this safari because I loved it

When I was looking for a safari tour operator, I had so many questions without answers. When I came across Safari Goats, I reach out to them and their process to make you understand everything about safari, made everything super smooth. They are very clear about the budget, organisation and what to expect. I’m a photographer and I wanted to take stunning pictures along with my wife. They organise everything towards our goals and we can say we manage to get the most impressive pictures ever! I would call Safari Goats, the heroes of our safari experience ! Thanks to all the team !!

From start to finish Eddy and his team at Safari GOATS made sure we had a wonderful time in Serengeti as part of our honeymoon. The service was professional, personalized, and thoughtful - so we didn’t have any worries (Hakuna Matata!). Wish we could’ve stayed longer, but that’ll be for some other time.
