I have been using currency transfer for about 2 years now. I am beyond thankful to Nathan for helping me with literally almost every transfer. It is a pleasure working with him and I hope to continue working with him in the future.

Obviously do your own research, and always calculate the commission percentage on each trade yourself to compare it to others, but for our needs, customer service was good and we had the rates we were looking for. It avoided the need to open a higher-tier bank account. Still, I was surprised that rates never reach below a few tenths of percent, anywhere, at least until very large amounts are in play. I thought eventually exchange became a commodity, but no one found a way around the exchange risk just yet.

Tried to open an account for one week now and nothing is happening......send all the paperwork and called and called again and "yes we know.....but we had a change in management and we are not set up to get to your application on time....etc...." I would be skeptical of all the rave reviews on the site.... today's update: just called their one-person office in London and talked again to Nick (no last name) who apologized for the 10 days of delay to open the account one more time (yes our COO will call you and your file is on top of the pile etc.....) they promised again to have the account open today but faced with that experience I went online and closed my application. 10 red alarms went ON in my head - how could I possibly trust a company to handle multiples of $50K transfers if they cannot get an account open in 10 days?
