I was transitioning from working as a classroom teacher to working in tech sales, so the jump was challenging and required a lot of legwork to make happen. Matt's (the founder) course was so helpful and came at a crucial time when I was reading everything I could and talking to anyone I could who was in sales. I learned many tactics to better position myself to land interviews (which is honestly good preparation for working as an SDR) and discovered new resources to read up on sales methods. The course also teaches you a lot about how an SDR facilitates the sales process, and how you can hit the ground running in your first gig. I'm writing this review after the third day of my first SDR job, and I know that whoever's reading this is capable of pivoting into sales if they apply themselves with this course.

I would highly recommend this particular program because it not only prepares you for tech sales but as a professional in general. I would recommend this curriculum for beginners who are fresh out of high school, career pivoters, and even entrepreneurs because it teaches heavily on how to show up for yourself as a professional. The program provided me with a comprehensive and structured approach to mastering the fundamentals of tech sales, equipping me with both the knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in this competitive field. Matt did incredibly well on the structure of the course in details, as it’s apparent how knowledgeable and supportive he is. He’s always ready to address questions and offer personalized guidance. The hands-on training with the workbook, role-playing exercises that could be done solo or with others around you, and access to industry-relevant tools were invaluable in helping me build confidence and competence. There were blogs, YouTube videos, and platforms to join for your success as a professional, a tech sales professional. You will not regret it! The course is worth every penny, trust me! My favorite sections are: cover letter and resume writing as well as interview and prospecting prep. I would like to specifically capitalize on cover letters because I literally never knew how to actually write an authentic cover letter. I followed generic cover letters online. Of course, I didn’t land the role but after taking this course, I view writing cover letters in a more organic and natural way rather than viewing it as a chore to reiterate my resume. Also, no other group has explained tech sales as thoroughly has SAT and that’s why this is a winner! There are no missing pieces. What sets the Sales Academy of Technology apart is their commitment to student success. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, incorporating real-world scenarios and actionable insights that are immediately applicable in professional settings. Thanks to the SAT, I now feel prepared to pursue a rewarding career in tech sales and am excited about the opportunities ahead. I highly recommend the Sales Academy of Technology to anyone looking to break into or level up in the tech sales industry. This was by far my favorite tech sales group considering that I’m in multiple but I put the others on the wayside to complete this because of the high-valued informative material! Unfortunately, leads started to dry up, corporate restructuring was taking place and I was canned as a result of layoffs within 6 months. In this day and age there are thousands of bootcamps out there charging thousands of dollars to give you recycled information and not enough hands on work to actually help you stand out in this job market. I am currently in the SDR role and trying to land a solutions consultant role and sales academy of technology is giving me tons of hands on work to help sharpen my presentation skills as well as help me build connections to network with other bright individuals in this space with me. There is loads on information to be absorbed but in a calculated rate, and our professor Matt is extremely responsive whether it's to give us one on one work to understand concepts to any specific assignments in a module or just to check in with us one our progress or if we have any current hurdles.
