PLEASE NOTE that this business is not superb.events and albeit sounds similar we are a Cheshire based business and have no association or even know of this company whatsoever. The 5 stars reflect that we are not in any position to leave a review so thought it only fair to be able to comment in case of ANY confusion. Thankyou

As I read this mans response to people’s plight it seems it is all about him! Please be aware that of his £2,000,000 loss with only a government grant of £10,000 to help, please don’t overlook the £700,000 he took from clients and did not pay a penny back to ANYONE!!! Yes he is lucky to be able to trade again but those poor young couples, charities etc he took money from - but we must all feel so sorry for him and sympathise with his shame. What about the devastation, sadness and worry and debt he has caused others. If he is that sad then set up a repayment scheme to start paying back his clients!!

We were due to get married at Brewerstreet Farmhouse and had booked SuperEvents for the summer of 2020 paying a deposit to secure them. Of course the pandemic interrupted our plans and forced us to move the wedding to the following summer. SuperEvents then asked us (with no explanation as to why) to transfer over a third of what we owed them to secure a new date. A few months later, they went into liquidation, ensuring that we lost the best part of £7,000 with no money back at all. To this day; we have had no explanation as to why we needed to transfer more money, and yet they went into liquidation and popped up trading again under a new name just weeks later. No remorse was shown, and on an open call, the owner claimed that he may as well have spent the small grants he received on cocaine. Would not recommend using them.

Response to Super Events Whilst I understand you tried your best you need to know you and your team were not the only people to lose your jobs/income during this torrid pandemic. We too suffered the same fate but on top of our loss of earnings we lost a huge amount of money to your company - which is now back up and running a week or so after liquidation! Whilst we could have probably understood losing our deposit, during the first lockdown when all were being forced to move their wedding dates your company insisted if we moved the date we had to pay more money - for just a clerical issue because as as you rightly say no events were happening, taking even more cash from clients - why? So as much as I feel for you at least you had our money and that of 100’s of others to help you through whereas we have no income and a huge debt and still have a wedding to pay for! You are not the only person awake at night I can assure you of that! Anyone considering using Super Events? Don’t do it! They will take your money and provide nothing in return!! They went into liquidation with everyone’s money and then reopened a few weeks later leaving so many young couples and charities heartbroken and well and truly out of pocket. No apologies. The pandemic was hard for everyone but during this time they asked for more money just to change dates knowing they were not going to be able to provide the service - so very cruel.

I just wanted to send my thoughts to all at Super Event at this really difficult time. For anyone who has had to postpone their Super Event wedding because of coronavirus, I can't believe how devastating it must be for you - but some small consolation is that when it does go ahead it will be amazing! We were married at Slaugham Place in 2018 and had the most perfect day thanks to the Super Event team who are absolutely incredible! Natalie and Steve

Wonderful experience.Birthday celebration. Organisation well before Birthday event gave me complete peace of mind. Professional approach to all aspects of the evening event. On the night-great food, excellent service from a great team where nothing was too much trouble. I would happily recommend this company to anyone looking to celebrate a special event.

We found Super Events through our venue Wadhurst Castle and boy are we glad we did! From start to finish they were a pleasure to deal with and we knew we were in safe hands. Every questions was answered speedily and nothing was too much trouble for them, they really did go out of their way for us even when we were indecisive about the meals we wanted. Their attention to detail was also impeccable and they really do know what they are doing despite their super calm and relaxed approach. We also attended their tasting where we got to try at least 30 courses of food and they were all so delicious it was hard to only choose 3 on our wedding day! The food on our day was AMAZING and so delicious. Almost all the plates left the tables empty and we got so many compliments from our guests about the food and the service. All the staff were incredible, friendly and super attentive and we are so grateful as it really helped make our day that much more special. We supplied our own alcohol and it was no trouble for them to serve. We even had lovely bartenders who learnt some cocktails for us and kept our guests topped up all night. Extra big thanks to Tony and Chrystelle. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with you both. And to all the staff on the day, thanks so much! Mr and Mrs Lee

My husband and I want to thank super events for helping us to have the most special wedding day. From start to finish we have been so happy, super events are very hard working, professional, passionate and help you immensely to have the most personalised wedding day. Our guests were raving about the food and drinks options. Everything ran smoothly and we couldn’t of asked for a better company to be part of the best day of lives. A big shout out to Chrystelle who we have been liaising with since day dot, Chrystelle is wonderful to work with and understood everything we wanted. Thank you again super events Mr & Mrs Billett

Our daughter’s wedding on the 7th September could not have been more perfect. Super Events really did live up to their title - in fact I’d go one step further - Superb Events!!! Their meticulous planning - and ‘nothing is too much trouble’ was wonderful. The food on the day - all served from the catering tent attached to the main marquee - was delicious and received many compliments from our guests who numbered 100. All the food was hot and freshly served. Amazing! We had the drinks package offered and no-one was thirsty that’s for sure!!! I think I have to say that Chrystelle was just The Best!!! If I emailed she always replied straight away - there’s was no ‘chasing her up’ for information and they whole team could not have been more delightful to work with. Thanks A Team - Tony - Tom - waiting staff - and the gorgeous Chrystelle for making the day PERFECT!!!! ❤️❤️

We had the most amazing day at Wadhurst Castle. It was a fairy tale wedding and we owe so much to Super Event who provided a brilliant service. From the planning stages to the delivery of a perfect service on the day. Our guests loved the food and we were so pleased to hear the positive comments flying around...everyone was full! The service was wonderful, the staff were wonderful and of course our lovely contact Chrystelle was wonderful in the lead up and during very stressful moments of trying to organise things. Sally, the catering manager on the day was excellent and very personable and full of smiles and answers to any questions on the day and everything flowed really well on the day. So thanks to the team once again! We will definitely recommend the service. - even among our Caribbean and African network who we feel would be so impressed by your Caribbean buffet dishes - but may not realise you cater for different cultures.

Better than excellent. Genuinely so professional, helpful and such amazing food! From the initial communications and quotes through to the day after our wedding, Chrystelle and her team have been utterly kind, helpful and brilliant throughout. The tasting event was fabulous and definitely a hint of what they can do. The day before they came to set up and just got on professionally and without fuss, even in the heat! Our wedding day was so wonderful and we've had so many people compliment us on how fantastic the food was as well as the service they received from staff. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough, or thank them enough.

Super Events were recommended by our venue Cissbury Barns, Worthing. thank you so much for everything you did to help make our wedding day so perfect. It was everything we could have hoped for and more and we're so grateful. The food was absolutely incredible. Everybody loved it and we've had so many comments about how good it was and how different it was to what people are used to. We went for an Italian Style sharing menu. It was outside of the norm for Super Events but they took everything in their stride and the end result was incredible. Thank you to the team at Super Events that helped throughout the day - Especially the event manager Steven who was amazing at pulling everything together beforehand and was so good on the day. Would thoroughly recommend.

We discovered Superevents when a friend hosted a party for 250. We were amazed at how well organised it was given the numbers and the catering in particular was exceptional. When it came to organising a 21st birthday party for our daughter and 120 guests we looked no further than Superevents and wow did they deliver. From the initial meeting with Tony and Chrystelle to the day of the event we just knew we were in good hands. Their guidance on what and not to do was invaluable. They have been there, seen it, done it, so being able to rely on their judgement was totally reassuring, which is just what you need when putting on a major event. The whole operation from start to finish is carried out professionally by people who obviously love their jobs and this permeates reassuringly to the client, you quickly realise they are going to deliver something special. On the day, Lorraine snd Bronwyn dealt with all the stresses and the whole thing ran seamlessly. Nothing was too much trouble and they were totally flexible. The catering was sublime and 120 guests were treated to an amazing evening thanks to the Superevents team. I cannot recommend you highly enough.

Super Event were first rate from the introductory event to the clearing away of the marquee. They were professional yet friendly and the attention to detail was excellent. From the top down the staff are respectful and obviously love their job. Our special day was made even more special by this great team. Also, they are competitively priced- what is there not to like! Super events are truly Super. This is the second time we have used them , this time for our daughters wedding and again from the first point of contact with Chrystelle to the day of the event everything was planned to perfection. The food was second to none from the canapés through the reception and on to the hog roast . The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Chrystelle and all the staff for making the day a truly memorable one for us all. We are now trying to find another excuse to use you !!!

We choose Super Events for our catering for our wedding because we had heard how experienced they were with catering for big events & they did not disappoint.. in summery they really are SUPER! Tony, Chrystelle and the whole team did everything they could to ensure our dream wedding went smoothly and they really did go above and beyond for us on numerous occasions. From the management of the day/ sourcing out the correct table decorations to the wonderful food and drink everything was all perfect! Truly excellent; cannot recommend highly enough! From the first point of contact right through to the very end, the service from everyone within the organisation, attention to detail and the quality of absolutely everything was outstanding. We were told at the outset that they could and would cater for our needs/wants and they certainly did. Our daughter's wedding reception was all we had hoped for and more. We were promised everything and they delivered on their promise.

Our son and new wife had their wonderful wedding reception at Castle Goring on Saturday 20 July 2019. As parents we were very impressed with the wedding venue and catering company and felt we must review our experience. We chose Super Events Ltd for our marquee catering at the reception as they had a great reputation and were recommended. From the initial meeting back in October last year with Chrystelle, right up to the wedding day, we received a professional service accommodating our every need which took the pressure off us. The Super Events taster afternoon was fun for the bride, groom and bridesmaid a few months ago. They chose their favourite food for their wedding menu and tasted different wines whilst having a laugh with others attending. Whilst we decorated the venue the day before the wedding, lovely Katie and her team were on hand proficiently setting up the tables in the marquee for our 120 guests. Katie’s happy personality and advice was wonderful for us on such a busy day. Chrystelle had been liaising with the Bride’s family regularly and had been advised of all the wedding reception timings. Therefore on the day Katie knew exactly what was happening and so it flowed smoothly without a hitch. On arrival at Castle Goring after the church service, we went upstairs to the lounge area for welcome drinks and canapes. These were attentively handed out by the Super Events staff and guests glasses of fizz were refilled when required. We had opted for the marquee in the garden which was perfect for our number of guests. Super Events provided delicious piping hot food to every table which was praised not only by us but by many of our guests. The service was exceptional throughout the whole wedding breakfast and could not be faulted. In the evening we organised a band to play and another 100 or so guests turned up to celebrate with us. Super Events staffed the bar in the foyer all afternoon and then added an extra bar in the marquee for the evening guests which worked well as guests didn’t have to wait for drinks. Thank you Chrystelle, Katie and all your team for making our son and daughter-in-law's wedding very special and a day that we will always remember.

Let me start by saying this review sounds potentially a bit gushing, but there isn't a single bit in here that isn't 100% true and this is absolutely they way we were left feeling after working with Superevent to create our wedding day! We first came across Super Event when my then Fiance and I were looking at potential wedding venues and we came across Slaugham Place. Slaugham as a venue ticked all the boxes for us, it is even more stunning in real life which is saying something because all the photos are GORGEOUS! But the main reason we chose to go with Slaugham was SUPEREVENT. Chrystelle, Tony, Tom & their team are phenomenal, their work is so seemless and diligent it is amazing. From the moment we started talking to Chrystelle it was clear we were dealing with someone who not only knew what they were talking about when it came to the wedding and logistics etc but someone who truly understands where YOU as the 'bride / groom to be' are coming from. No question is a silly question and no stone is left unturned. Its an extremely daunting experience to plan a wedding for most people and for us is certainly was, you are spending a lot of money on something you wont really know if it all works until the big day. That is why having people like the amazing team at Superevent is so important. To have not just one person but an entire business of people who are on hand consistently to ensure you have the best day possible is so rare. The Wedding world is a business, and many places we spoke to made us feel exactly that, but Chrystelle and Tom made us feel as though our day really mattered to them, and I genuinely believe it did. There are so many parts of what Superevent do that make them fabulous, but they are first and foremost people who work with you to create exactly what you want, rather than trying to fit every couple into a set structure that they have in mind. They are efficient, diligent, professional in a way that blew us away, hard working, experienced, and most importantly they are honest. We were told when things couldn't happen, which to be honest was extremely rare because they made an enormous effort to accommodate absolutely everything we wished for but never the less the honesty was there. Furthermore the Food is absolutely phenomenal, unbelievable the quality at that number of heads to feed, all our guests commented on how fab the food was! And... the drink packages really are as amazing of a deal as they appear! We thought they were so fab, we even used them for a party we hosted the following day of our wedding at our house, which was again a totally seemless event. We were actually having issues with the power 1 hour before guests were due to arrive and in the time I had gone inside to get dressed Tom had appeared at the house with a generator! I asked Tom when he arrived "are we having a crisis?" and he said with a smile "we dont do those at Super event" and he has fixed the issue within 5 minutes! The team are unflappable which is amazing in those type of situations because to me, I was having a melt down! My parents & friends were totally blown away by Superevent and how professional and perfect everything was. We had so many comments on how fab they had been! They wont be the cheapest company you come across, and they don't pretend to be, but I can 100% guarantee they will be the best. We truly cannot thank Chrystelle, Tony, Tom and all of their fab staff enough for working with us to create our dream day! Every single one of their staff loves to work for them and that is clear in the way they all do their job! We hold a special place in our hearts for the super event team and will absolutely use them again on any big celebration! If you are still reading and you are trying to decide if you want to use superevent, honestly, it would be the best money you will ever spend!

Well, what can I say. Super Events are Absolutely Super!!! I cannot thank you enough for making my daughter's wedding such a huge success. Your staff are an absolute a credit to you! To name a few would be wrong as they are all so professional, hard working and friendly. But Angelica was such a lovely lady and deserves a special mention! The food was out of this world and so many of the wedding guests were blown away with the quality of the food! From initial contact to even the day after the wedding your level of service has been incredible. I cannot thank you enough for making our event such a great day!
