United States | 16 July 2024Intake was non professional. No one was friendly . Every single one of the workers cursed luke a savior. The house was no way up to clean standards it was uncomfortable and the outside looked pnce but inside was bad . They want you to detox Ina cold little room and the pic on the website are not the true rooms. Now I worked in recovery for many years and this place is a $ thing nt a recovery thing. No real structor. I left Fyer 8 hours.

United States | 06 November 2023I will never recommend anyone to go to this network of addiction treatment centers. My loved one called a center in the Houston area for treatment. A person in a call center "screened" them and then transferred them to a "counselor." This person tried convincing my loved one to take a month off of work and fly to Windward Way in California. After we expressed concerns about the cost and distance from my loved one's family and support, this person still tried convincing my loved one to sign a promissory note to the center. This means that they were trying to get my loved one to go into DEBT towards the center and to take FMLA in order to go! This was even after we explained that finances were a huge trigger and source of stress for my loved one, and they would not accept letting my loved one explore the treatment center in Houston. We had to end the call and they still spammed us with calls until we blocked them. These centers are only out for money and do not care about the people or their treatment.

United States | 12 March 2023So the male employees try to pick up cute attractive young women. When you have a health concern and a doctor prescribes something they deny you the medication unless you threaten to sue. When it comes to your final bill. Being an addict the doesn't use anymore you are smothered in debt. If you can't pay the full amount right away they say they will set up a payment plan but never do. So that's gonna ge a bad mark on your credit report. A place ment to help you get on track but will screw you over because of finances. Makes you want to be an addict again. So much for helping people.

United States | 28 October 2021With an opened mind it works. Windward Way was a very positive experience for me. 6 months plus I'm still sober all due to the program. Awesome staff and very caring. They understand where we are coming from. Thank you very much for helping me find myself and my new life. I'm very happy and I really like who I am today.

United States | 22 October 2021Windward way was the right place at the right time for me. Recovery isn't easy but if you follow the guidance you are given and the tools to use, your chances for success increase a lot. Like anything, you gotta want it. Shout out to Monica, thank you! 6 months sober , what a difference!

United States | 21 October 2021The program was great becuase of the people I went through with. Windward provides an oppurtunity to create healthy relationship with others in recovery. The groups provided helped me understand that addiction is a battle of the mind. it provided me with knowlege about cognitive disorder and how to implement healthy coping skills. Therepy was great! Amanda D was compasionate and proffessional. She provided a safe non-judgmental space that allowed me to think through my emotions and past hurts with sutle promts. Casemanagement- Jerilynn was my advocate and got things done! One this that this program is lacking is a solid alumi program. I discharged September 1, 2021 and have yet to be contacted or infomaed of any events or even just a check in. This is crutial in maintaining relationships with those we recovered with. We need that accountability and encouragement!

United States | 21 October 2021The program is catered to AA. Not ideal for an addict. For me the experience was needed. Humility was practiced. But I wish it was also NA based. Employees would change meeting schedule to benefit their own recovery. Some employees didn't care about the client.

United States | 21 October 2021I would have given Windward 5 stars but for the lack of information I would receive from my case worker. I felt like I had to chase him down to find out what was next for me only to find out that decisions were being made for me based on my insurance rather than my needs and wants.

United States | 21 October 2021I was not the actual patient my brother was but when I found the winward way it was just a complete 100% blessing. They helped me actually get him up out of his drunken stupor helped me get him to the airport as well as getting him on an airplane and then he went. They handled everything For me and his family. he completed their entire program. He got connected with all the right people to help support him through his addiction. He is still sober today And he still has his group meetings with all of the people that he met through the Windward Way program. I'm so grateful that Windward Way exists. And I'm so happy that we were able to find them. Thank you for saving my brother's life Winward Way❣If you or anyone in your family are experiencing any type of addiction I highly recommend this program.

United States | 21 October 2021Windward changed my life. The things I learned about myself is amazing. It's only been 6 months of sobriety but it's been amazing. My therapist Monica was amazing. Breathing coach Chad Pinel was a huge thing for me he was amazing. My case manager Jeri helped in every way she could with my 30 days. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone in need

United States | 21 October 2021They try to keep there beds full at all times. Shuffling patients through phases depending on their insurance for them to get the most money from each insurance company. Detox was decent but the detox house was disgusting and dirty.
