United Kingdom | 11 February 2025Just home from South Africa one week, and already trying to sort out dates for next year. We stayed in the fabulous Atlanticview Hotel. It's impossible to describe the beauty of this place!! This was the 3rd January in a row at our favourite hotel. We actually met a lovely Scottish couple who were on their 10th consecutive visit........Does that not say it all? Rooms all have their own decking area with stunning views. You can watch the cable car going up to Table Mountain behind you. You can watch the hang gliders leaping off The Lions Head to the right of you. However the uninterrupted views of Camps Bay village, the beach, and the so so blue Atlantic Ocean lie below and in front of you! We really had to force ourselves to stop taking photos. We took the same ones last year and the year before!!! The food at Atlanticview is excellent and again we needed to discipline ourselves to stop when we had enough. The rooms are all very generous and are immaculately maintained. Staff are incredibly helpful and so well mannered and always seemed as if they enjoyed their jobs and wanted to be there! We always wondered where Greg got them all. Whoever trained the staff here deserve a recommendation from the tourist board ! Complimentary wine and canapés from 7-9 each night gives you a chance to meet and socialise, however no matter where your room is located you can be as private as you wish. What's not to like at Atlanticview ?

United States | 23 December 2024My stay at this 5 star boutique hotel in Cape Town back in June was the highlight of an entire three-month, six-continent world tour. The food was abundant and delicious, especially the fresh cut fruit and charcuterie. The staff were so friendly, provided excellent service, and truly did seem as if they simply wanted guests to have a great time while staying at Atlanticview. My room was beautiful, bright, and clean, with access to a balcony with comfortable cushioned seating. And, true to the name, the hotel is located on a high spot that affords a breathtaking view of the city below, the Atlantic Ocean, and Lion's Head in the distance. I could not stop taking photos from our balcony. Even the skylights in my room showcased Table Mountain further up from the ocean. Months later, I still think about this hotel and how wonderful my stay was!

United Kingdom | 12 December 2024A quite exceptional small luxury boutique hotel and I have stayed in many. Excellent advice when booking from Greg Boki the owner regarding our stay and trips to wine regions. The location for us was perfect; for local trips Uber works well. We had day trips to the Stellenbosch and Constantia wine regions and one to Cape of Good Hope organised by Greg and his team. We had planned to spilt our stay between Camps Bay and the wine region bur on Greg's advice stayed in the one location so we were not changing location after 3 days. This worked really well for us as the wine regions are close and we didn't have to drive. We also had an evening check out on our last day so could relax in the hotel before leaving at 7pm for a late flight back to London. The customer service was in all aspects outstanding, the staff led by Justine could not have been more attentive. We stayed in the Royal Suite with fabulous views of Camps Bay. The suite was spacious, luxurious and super comfortable. Each day started with an excellent breakfast in our room or on the decking. Fresh juice and pastries with cooked breakfast, but to be honest the continental breakfast was so good after the first day we passed on the cooked option. Each evening between 6 and 8 there are complementary drinks and canapes which we enjoyed as we could meet other guests which we enjoyed. We ate twice in the hotel, you have to order your meal a couple of hours in advance as the food is freshly prepared and delicious. Other nights we ate in restaurants recommended by the hotel. We are planning a return trip in the summer.

Italy | 11 July 2024My family used to live in Cairo, Egypt. For vacation one December, we visited Cape Town, renting an AirBnB. Because Cape Town is so wonderful—combining panoramic mountain views, accessible beaches, exceptional restaurants, and extraordinary wildlife—we enjoyed our stay. However, my return to Cape Town this June was a clear improvement from my first visit… and the obvious reason for this improvement is Atlanticview Hotel. Atlanticview’s location is convenient to the beach and a suite of outstanding restaurants. I.e., the beach is only a 5-minute Uber ride away, or a 20-to-30-minute walk along low-trafficed roads. Those five minutes separating Atlanticview from the beach are almost entirely vertical, up the hillside—and as a consequence, Atlanticview enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and ocean. (I particularly enjoyed the floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant! And the patio of Suite 2 was the perfect place to read a book or respond to a few emails.) The amenities of Atlanticview are top-notch—heated pools, a gym, and laundry service separate the experience from what would be possible at an AirBnB or less-premier hotel. I want to especially praise the restaurant—whose bread and fresh fruit selection impressed me every day. The avocado toast and three-egg omelet were our favorites off the menu. However, the biggest differentiator between Atlanticview and other hotels is the service. This began the moment we arrived at the airport, and Dominic greeted us with a sign and a smiling face, before driving us direct to Atlanticview. This extends to the kind and soft-spoken cleaning staff who navigated around me staying in the hotel for the afternoon. Because you can and do *interact* with the staff at AtlanticView, you can easily receive restaurant recommendations (if, for instance, you want seafood). (My group ended up at Codfather per their recommendation and enjoyed one of our favorite meals on our travels.) I highly recommend Atlanticview Cape Town, and based on my experience at other five-star hotels, I am sure it is amongst the best in Cape Town.

United Kingdom | 10 July 2024Atlanticview was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. With incredible views of the Atlantic and Lions Head on one side and Table Mountain on the other, the scenery is unmatched. The rooms were extremely comfortable, and the amenities like the gym and pool were wonderful. The staff was also so friendly and helpful, they gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Cape Town. Truly the best boutique hotel in Cape Town, excited to return!

United States | 09 July 2024I had a marvelous stay at the Atlanticview Boutique Hotel in June 2024 for four nights. Without a doubt, the Atlanticview Boutique hotel is the best 5 star luxury hotel in Cape Town. This Boutique hotel in Cape Town is nestled in the heart of Bakoven, a neighborhood high in elevation from which you can peer out over the rest of the city. Everything at this 5 star hotel in Cape Town exceeded my expectations. I began each of my mornings with a delectable espresso from the espresso machine in my suite. I enjoyed the aromatic scents of the finest quality complimentary soaps and hair products. After showering, I frowned as my hair had become wet, but I simply used the powerful hairdryer included with my suite and felt better. If you can imagine the feeling of sleeping on a cloud with a cozy blanket of stardust, that is what the bed in my suite felt like. My slumber was divine – I awoke feeling deliciously refreshed. I can only describe the food at this Boutique Hotel in Cape Town as delectable. My party was welcomed to the Atlanticview Boutique Hotel with a tray of assorted tropical fruits, top-notch meats and cheeses, and local wine. For breakfast each morning, we received incredibly attentive service from the staff, who were at all times professional and warm. Overwhelmed with attractive options from the breakfast menu, I changed up my order each morning, and sampled the open-faced omelet, the smoked salmon scrambled eggs, and the French toast, always with the full assortment of side dishes: hash brown, mushroom, bacon, beans and vegetables.

Kenya | 30 June 2024Had the pleasure of staying at Atlanticview Cape Town, a 5 star boutique hotel in Cape Town. From our arrival, the staff were super welcoming and helpful — we arrived at midnight and they prepared charcuterie boards and small bites for us. They have a restaurant in the hotel and a daily breakfast was included with our stay that included fresh fruit, a bread basket, and a hot menu. We stayed in the Infinity Suite and it was really comfortable and had two sliding doors leading straight to the pool. The hotel also helped also plan our activities during our stay, including a wonderful tour of Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. We had a great time and definitely recommend to any travelers visiting Cape Town!

Kenya | 29 June 2024Best 5 star boutique hotel in Cape Town! Huge fan. The views are stunning, the food (especially breakfast!) is delightful, the staff are lovely and so accommodating. Just a 15 min drive from the waterfront, which is lovely!! Highly recommend. I’d go back in a heartbeat. I stayed in the infinity suite, the bedroom and bathroom were both so spacious and luxurious. The kitchen was also lovely with a great selection of wines. The breakfast was also a highlight, with fresh fruit and eggs every morning. The avocado toast was my favorite, and the breakfast staff are just delightful! Miss Bridget especially, she took such great care of me and my friends!

United Kingdom | 09 June 2024This was without doubt the best hotel we stayed at during our holiday in South Africa, there are outstanding views over Camps Bay. The staff were excellent and so helpful. We loved the wine and canapés between 7 and 9 every night. A big thankyou to Greg and the staff, we will definitely return

France | 06 June 2024This gorgeous boutique hotel in Cape Town is the single best resort I've stayed at in my life. It has a gorgeous view of the oceans and the mountains, with sleek rooms, a gym, and a restaurant that prepares the most incredible breakfast every morning. The Wine Night and constant appetizers are such a treat! But honestly, nothing can beat the hospitality. The staff are so kind and helpful--they really made this gorgeous boutique one of a kind. My memories from staying here will last a lifetime!

United States | 04 June 2024Staying at the Atlanticview was an incredibly luxurious and special experience. Nestled in a neighborhood at the foot of Table Mountain above Camps Bay – a beach with a lively and upscale waterfront – it was a seriously 5-star experience. The hotel is close enough to downtown Cape Town – my group had a couple rental cars and it was always under 10 minutes to visit something – but luxurious enough that it was hard to leave each morning! First of all, the views are spectacular. With the ocean visible from every room and every deck, we would often be delayed by taking photos. The rooms themselves are incredibly well appointed, spacious, and quiet; big beds, comfortable pillows, the works. The one I stayed in also had a private garden attached. A special touch was the card left by the staff each night detailing the weather conditions for the following day to know how to plan and dress accordingly. The food spreads, whether the breakfasts or the canapés at the complimentary wine night each night from 7pm-9pm were amazing, with breakfast being some of the best I’ve had. Depending on where in the two buildings you were, it was either breakfast in the dining room or trays in the room, each a sumptuous experience. The staff are at the center of this experience, each person being incredibly thoughtful, personable, and happy to help. They were eager for us to relax, and upon arrival they whisked away our luggage and replaced them with drinks. With extensive knowledge about what to do, it was enjoyable to chat with them and take recommendations and overall they wanted to make sure we were having the best time we could, at the hotel and beyond.

United States | 04 June 2024This gem of a hotel, perched above the beautiful ocean views of Camps Bay, sets an unbelievably high standard for beauty, tranquility, and comfort in Cape Town. Atlanticview’s location alone merits five stars, offering a stunning overlook of the water and of gorgeous evening sunsets while surrounded by mountainous landscapes, but this hotel truly shines in the unfaltering hospitality of the staff in providing luxurious amenities at every moment. The top-notch rooms are well-appointed daily, and the staff offers both a complimentary continental breakfast (delivered to your room!) and a nightly open wine bar, making it impossible to feel anything but spoiled by their incredible service. The staff also helped my tour group make the best of our experience outside of Atlanticview by recommending us different restaurants, tours, and outings throughout Cape Town, advice that was invaluable for us newcomers to South Africa. I can’t recommend the Atlanticview Cape Town Boutique Hotel enough for anyone seeking a truly transcendent luxury experience!

United States | 04 June 2024We had an absolutely incredible time at Atlanticview Cape Town -- the amenities were unbeatable, staff were so friendly, and we overall couldn't have asked for a better 5 star hotel for our stay in Cape Town. We stayed in the Master Bedroom and loved the skylights with a view directly up to the top of Table Mountain, as well as the balcony on the other side showing a stunning view of Camps Bay. The continental breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of fruits changing every day, and was delivered directly to us at a time agreed upon with the front desk. The room and bathroom were well-appointed and put back into perfect shape every day. Hotel staff even kept an eye out to let us know right away when our car lights were left on! Wine hour every night was a blast and the combination of beauty, services, and food left a lasting impression.

United States | 03 June 2024This 5 star hotel in Cape Town truly lived up to its name. The moment you walk onto the property, you are greeted by wonderfully friendly staff who are devoted to making your stay incredible. They immediately gave us recommendations on where to go get lunch and offered us welcome glasses of wine (there is a lot of free wine built into your experience at Atlanticview, if you so desire). From free wine and delicious hors d'oeuvres each evening to breakfast delivered to your room, this is a hyper-premium experience at every step. The hotel is also situated in the most gorgeous area of Cape Town imaginable. Views of Lion's head, Table Mountain, and the coast all at once make the hotel so uniquely special. Just a two minute drive from the hotel is a very cool and lively waterfront area with fantastic food and shopping. It is also only 5 minutes away from the gondola for Table Mountain, which is a can't miss Cape Town activity. Finally, the hotel organizes tours and outings for guests. We did the vineyard tour as well as the cheetah petting experience. It was amazing. I cannot recommend enough. I cannot wait for the next time I return to the Atlanticview hotel, I certainly will. I seriously could not ask anything more of this experience. It is surely one of the nicest hotel's I have ever stayed at.

We especially enjoyed happy hour each night from 7-9, where the staff spoiled us with complimentary wine and snacks before we went into town for the evening. Each staff member was kind, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. Aside from the exemplary service, the Atlanticview has some of the best views and accommodations you can find. We were immediately dazzled by poolside views of Lion’s Head and Table Mountain, and the sunsets each night were some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Our rooms were spacious and luxurious, equipped with a mini kitchen, a comfortable king size bed, and a sleek bathroom. There’s even a gym with dumbbells, exercise bikes, and weight lifting machines. Thank you to Atlanticview for an absolutely unforgettable stay—can’t recommend it enough!

From the moment I arrived with the rest of my group, the staff was immediately welcoming, offering us beverages and snacks after our long day of travel. This amazing hospitality was constant throughout our stay. Every morning we were served delicious continental and hot breakfasts directly to our room which we ate with a beautiful view overlooking all of Camps Bay. At night, my group and I enjoyed the complementary wine, talking and laughing on comfy chairs watching the beautiful sunset. The room I stayed in was also sublime. United States | 03 June 2024THIS HOTEL IS MAGNIFICENT! This is probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I have traveled a lot! There is absolutely nothing to complain about this place. The location is perfect, the amenities are high class, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff team is so nice and welcoming! My friends and I came here for almost a week in May and had a blast. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with warm welcomes and caring services. The staff is very attentive and also very talkative, I enjoyed chatting with them! The variety of food for breakfast and wine hour from 7-9pm (STRONGLY RECOMMEND) was incredible, some of the best eggs I have ever had. The hotel is super close to Camps Bay and Table Mountain, making it very easy for tourists renting cars themselves, we constantly drove to Camps Bay for food. The gym équipements are very comprehensive and the pool is also an incredible place to chill by, love the little fountains and lights that goes up at night, so romantic! Ahh, and the view, impeccable, no matter if it’s during the day, night, but of course especially sunset haha, the view from the hotel is just something else, overlooking the entire bay and the mountains, with trees and the pool nearby, the sea salt from the ocean visibility floating in the air, what a marvelous site! Definitely the best 5 star luxury hotel in Cape Town, and in all the places I’ve been to for sure.
