Stay away from this garage. Do not fall for the same mistake I did. The single worst service and customer experience I have ever received. Please look at all reviews before going here. They will take your money and you’ll never see it again

Do not make a payment upfront. I made this mistake. After numerous attempts (kept changing date) over the weeks they finally picked up my car to ring me up and say more work needed doing. I thought okay they know they are doing so silly me made another payment. Each week that passed was another excuse as to why the car couldn’t be collected. In the end I agreed to a refund but it never come after numerous times of being told it was being sent by bacs (bank transfer) and this was promised in email by Dave. I have all the emails still saved. Unfortunately I then had to apply to the courts to retrieve my money back which has been approved and the process is on going. I would recommend you also check reviews on other sites as a lot back each other up. The work sorted at another garage and the issue they said on the phone call wasn’t even a problem… so I paid towards a job that wouldn’t of even needed doing. A shame really as Dave seemed such a nice & genuine guy on the phone.

Dave seems like a really nice guy, and some reviews show they do some good work, which is why it is just such a shame that Dave gives empty promises which he cannot live up to. I suggest for your own sanity, Dave, that you only take on work that you know that you can deliver so you have happy customers and keep yourself stress free. However, unfortunately my experience was not good. In Dec 2020 I was told I needed some work done and asked to pay up front in full (big mistake!) The work was then booked in on approx. 20 different occasions over a 6 week period but not completed. At this point I was happy to go elsewhere, but obviously wanted my money back. Dave told me that was fine to refund me and I was promised my money to be returned on approx. 10 occasions over 4 weeks but with no money received. I had no other option but to take Dave to the small claims court. Today (Aug 2021) we went to court and Dave agreed to pay in full but now is paying an unnecessary extra £90 in court fees.

I was having 4 tyres changed through blackcircles who sent the tyres to the wrong garage. Sms went above and beyond to sort out the situation and ultimately provided an amazing service with a very comfortable waiting area and free tea/coffee. Thank you very much!

Now protyre brand I have been using them for many years. Yes I had issues with the online price issue for mots. I always ended up the right price. Testers have always given good service . There are other garages but I have always returned to this garage. Good value. The dealers and others will charge full price for mots which is 54 pounds.

Do not use these people, they are total con artists and never honour quoted prices, will do the work and then hugely overcharge, no advance warning, if you don't pay they then use bully boy tactics, a true cowboy outfit, steer well clear and go to a reputable garage.

Don't appear to be in the slightest bit interested. Turned up, after being told they could look at my car while I waited, entered their "reception", which is a misnomer if ever there was one, it's a bunch of seats, and a closed office. Nobody to "receive" customers at all. Waited 10 minutes, standing around while they all sat in their comfortable office chatting away to one another. Made direct eye contact with at least three employees, every one of them just put their heads down and walked in the other direction. Eventually, after 10 minutes, opened the office and asked for assistance myself. Was told to take a seat, someone would be with me in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later, had enough, walked out. Complete waste of time!

I booked for an MOT online and whilst making the booking I asked how much is it? The member of staff asked if I had seen their website and I said that I had and saw the price of £25 advertised he then said "then it will be £25". When my husband took the car for MOT they charged £40 claiming that the £25 MOT is only for online bookings. This is misleading as neither their website nor the member of staff states that he £25 MOT is for only bookings only. The man who took the payment from my husband said that he didn't work for the company and was just helping out on Saturdays and so could not resolve our price discrepancy issue. He then very rudely said "I don't know what all the fuss is about it's only £15"! Needless to say I would advise anyone else needing an MOT to avoid this place unless you want to be misled also. I notice another review here on Trustpilot who had exactly the same issue. No coincidence!

Booked online for a standard MOT. Appointment was scheduled for 10:00AM. My car was not seen until around 10.45AM. I was then told at around 11.15AM that it I needed a new rear tyre in order to pass the MOT and that everything else had passed. I was going to make a quick phone call to see if I could get hold of a second hand spare quickly, however was told that they were on a 'tight' schedule. They had the size I needed in stock and I agreed to pay and put the new tyre on.... 45 minutes later I still heard nothing, so walked into reception to inform them I had been waiting for over 2 hours and what was going on. I told them I was unhappy I had been waiting for so long, however no apology was given to me. I then returned to my car to find it soaking wet inside as the tester had left the windows open, parked the car outside and it there was a heavy downpour of rain. Needless to say I'm not happy with the poor customer service. Will not be using again.

We run a fleet of 20 vehicles within our company and we use Trade Tyres of Lichfield, nothing is too much trouble for these guys. If a tyre is needed no problem this is done on site which suites the need of our company to help us keep our vans on the road working. We run winter tyres on our cars and Trade Tyres supply and fit at very competitive prices. Thanks to the lads at Lichfield especially Anthony who is our main fitter. Lanmarc Ltd. Cannock

I used this company last Friday the 30th October . I brought my car in for an mot and to my horror found that I had a near illegal tyre and I desperately needed brake discs. Sadly I thought that I could just pop in and wait and then drive away. I needed to be at the airport to pick up an elderly relative and the parts had to be ordered. I said this to the manager and he said not to worry we have a courtesy car, just use that . What nice guys. I was able to do what I needed to do and then picked up the car later in the day. Definitlely recommend . Friendly , helpful and not bad value.

I booked over the phone for a £25 MOT as shown in the search engine and on their website. After booking a time I asked if I would still get the special web price and was told that I would. When the time came to pay I was charged £40 rather than the £25 that I was expecting. They said £25 was only for web bookings and that £40 was still a special price. I asked why they had not clarified this over the telephone when i enquired about the price and was told "we can't read your mind". I got a strong suspicion this was not the first time they had had this particular conversation. I won't be going back.

I always use Trades Tyres for all my Services, MOT's and issues. I have never had to question their invoices or the works they carry out. The bills are always as small as possible and they do seem to really value repeat custom rather than a one-time fleece! When I have been forced to use others I have had concerns about the real necessity of works. Not with these guys!

Booked MOT and full service. They offered me a service that matched the dealer’s, and at a great price. The customer service is fantastic, and so are the technicians. My car is running smoothly now. Needless to say, I will be using them again in the future.
