United States | 13 March 2024I have to say in the beginning there was a two inexperienced young gentleman who didn't know exactly what they were doing when I tried to contact them I got yes yes yes yes but I got nothing in return . Therefore, I turned to Ray the manager and finally upon speaking to him getting the proper explanation and the experience that he has is unbelievable and SHOULD NOT be taken in vain. He completed our trip he gave us all of our information he made it happen! We are very excited to go if it wasn't for Ray I don't know would have happened, but I do know that it wouldn't be the dream vacation that we had planned our whole livesif he didnt step in. I totally recommended if anybody needs to travel he knows his stuff he has the experience & knowledge. He is honest even when most people don't have to be you so we relied in him. So I'm giving him five stars but as a representative of fondtravels I'll be getting them five stars because they are smart enough to hire somebody like Ray who made the mistakes of the younger generation disappear. He gave us what we deserved and what we paid for! excellent excellent excellent work! Ray thank you very much and thank you thank you for fondtravelers for hiring him. He's an asset that's can never be lost at your end. thank you I'll be I will be traveling only with Ray as my travel agent from now on thank you.

I provided a thorough accounting of what occured during that stressful phonecall and I was offered compensation to remove this review, which I declined. The person I spoke with did not identify that Fond Travel was a 3rd party and I was repeatedly told that the charge I would incur was for "taxes". After I posted this review on Google & Trust Pilot, I have rec'd many phonecalls asking me to take this down to which I've blocked numbers. If I would've gone forward with Fond Travel's booking, I would've been double-booked on the next day PCA flight and out $100 in "taxes". Additionally, I asked Julie where I was supposed to go and that YVR is not my home town to which was never addressed or responded to. It's noteworthy to mention the person doing the investigation is a Fond Travel employee so I am not surprised of his "findings". I believe from that phone call the only intention was to send me a gift card to make me take this review down. SCAMMER ALERT!! A deceptive ad on Google showed Fond Travel as Pacific Coastal Air and I mistakenly contacted them to inquire about the possible delay of my Canadian PCA flight, as one leg of my journey had already been delayed. They informed me that my flight was canceled and sent a document requesting approval for a $90 charge, supposedly for taxes, to secure a booking on the next available PCA flight for the following day. Despite my attempts to manage the situation, inquiring about hotel options and trying to retrieve my luggage, they repeatedly sent the Docusign document four times and the representative, "Julie," persistently sought my credit card information and mailing address, raising significant concerns. While on this 37 minute long-distance call and on hold and as Julie was attempting to process $90 charge, I received a separate email from (the real) Pacific Coastal Airlines in my Gmail, confirming my booking on the next day's flight and instructing me to contact them to arrange meals & overnight accommodations. This experience has led me to question whether Fond Travel is a legitimate service or potentially a credit card scam site.
