Netherlands | 14 January 2025Found a very nice deal for Amundsen Peak Panther skipants. The online deal stated 294 GPB + 24 GPB delivery cost to NL. So I ordered. I’m happy with the pants but I had to pay and incremental 150 Euros VAT and import tax because I live in the Netherland!!! Apparently the listprice on the website is excl VAT. Which is strange for a consumer site. It doesn’t really mentions whether VAT is included or excluded. If I had known, I wouldn’t have bought it. Snowtrax needs to inform international customers clearly about this. I did call customer service and their answer was that “they haven’t had any complaints” about it..nice.

They like to excuse themselves by claiming a 'technical' problem, but that does not cut it - the errors is either in their incompetent management of their stock or IT system or human error. They were "too busy" too offer me an alternative product. I gave them the second star because I did get my refund in the timeframe promised

United Kingdom | 04 December 2024We've been twice now and both times have been excellent. The first time was for new boots which were expertly selected and fitted. The second time was for a boot tweak, to add custom insoles and to have a helmet fitted for another family member. Can't fault the competence and knowledge from both Paul and Nici, and everyone we saw was friendly and helpful. Will return for all things snow related. Worth driving an hour each way.

United Kingdom | 23 November 2024I cannot recommend Snowtrax enough. I was looking for some new skis for this season and came across their online store. They had a number of pairs of skis extremely competitively priced, so I gave them a call to ask a few questions. I spoke with Nick, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and he went above and beyond to help guide me to the skis most suited to me, and even took the time to not only photograph a particular colour of binding on the skis he had recommended to me and send that photo over in an email, but also to get opinion from two other members of staff for good measure. I was already impressed, but after emailing me first thing the next morning to ask for measurements to fit the bindings, the skis then arrived the following day. This is without doubt the best service I have received point blank. To summarise: best price online Impeccable service Speedy delivery

United Kingdom | 22 February 2024Ordered and paid for an item online. After I had placed the order Snowtrax contacted me to tell me the item wasn't in stock. I asked for a refund, 1 week goes by and I still haven't received my refund so I contact Snowtrax who tell me 'for some reason the system did not fully process the refund' and the refund has now been 'manually processed' and I need to continue waiting. So in a nut shell, they were extremely quick to take my money and sell me an item they did not have and now expect me to wait weeks for a refund. There are much better shops online, selling the same items and providing a good service to their customers, spend your money with them.

United Kingdom | 04 April 2023Don't normally write reviews but having looked on here prior to placing an order with Snowtrax I was a bit sceptical. However, I can say that I had a completely positive experience. I ordered a ski bag and it pretty much arrived the next day, I received tracking updates etc. and Snowtrax offer super good deals too. Would highly recommend. Have also ordered some poles from here too, no trouble at all. Thanks so much :-)

Seems a bit of a con to try and get me to pay more for an alternative, so I cancelled. First and last time I have tried to use this company, will stick to to my regular company now

United Kingdom | 06 March 2023Went to buy ski boots on 12th January 2023. Offered only one boot as was told they were low on stock. Paid £90 extra for gold fitting. At the time checked internet prices which were vastly lower. They did not price match but offered 10% discount on the boots which I bought. Boots very uncomfortable after ski trip and went back on 1st February to have boots adjusted. Went on ski trip late February and boots even more uncomfortable. After 4 days so uncomfortable causing sore feet so took boots to ski shop in morzine only to find to everyones amazement the inners were put into wrong boots (Left in right boot and right in left boot). Emailed manager on 3rd March but no suprise there has been no reply. Not such a good boot lab gold service they advertise.

Unfortunately the member of staff was not friendly and condescending, after waiting for another 10 mins we left. As nobody came to serve us. This was disappointing as we like to support local businesses but felt unwelcome and that customer service was not a priority

United Kingdom | 26 August 2022We took our children to snowtrax, it was something different that they haven’t done and they loved it! The adventure park behind was a added bonus too, spent hours there, plenty to keep them active and entertained. What I would say let this place down is the fact it’s run by kids. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was very professional on arrival but that’s where it ended. When we were picking the childrens helmets one young man who was staff stood right next to us and said to another colleague ‘hopefully it’s not busy where it’s been raining an know one will turn up’. We thought this was off. We arrived 15 minutes early as advised on website for the safety brief except we were stood waiting until it was our time slot, on the dot, which was annoying when all these young staff were just stood around clearly not wanting to be there, the safety talk ate into our time, which is only half hour. more annoyingly the young girl over seeing ringoes tried cutting the time short by 3 minutes, and when you add up the delayed start time cos of the safety brief this was 5minutes gone!! It’s not on. All the young staff seemed to have a really bad and complacent attitude. Which sadly does demote the place especially if like ours it’s a bit of a day out with excited children. This aside it was a nice few hours In the outdoors and more importantly the kids really enjoyed it.

But 24hrs later they sent me a email saying our stock maybe wrong and we don't have it. Then proceed to tell me it will take 3 working days to be refunded. I'm disgusted at this company do not use.

Little disappointing to see a pile of litter below deck inside the pirate ship, next to the skeleton (poor chap). I suspect the staff don't know it's there but would be good for it to be cleaned up... think it was the same last August too when we last went along.

Dealt with Nick who i cant thank enough for taking the time to discuss our needs over the phone. We got a FANTASTIC deal on the items we ordered, were delivered next day, and were exactly as we discussed. Our new 'goto' shop for all things snowboarding. If i could reccomend anything, it would be carry more stock of popular items, but this is really nit picking. Shop with confidence, a fantastic company to deal with!!!

I have also bought, over the last 10 years or so, ski clothing, my snowboard, snowboard boots and bindings, I've had ski bindings fitted at the shop, and I also bought my ski touring boots there. In general I have always received professional service at Snowtrax, but this would not usually motivate me to write a review. This review relates to my most recent dealing with the Snowtrax Store where I received some truly outstanding customer service from Bernie. I had a problem with my Tecnica ski boots, and despite not being able to produce my receipt (I'm in Switzerland all season and the receipt is in England!) Bernie emailed Tecnica and not only did Tecnica provide the replacement parts, but Bernie also posted the parts out to me in Switzerland. I would highly recommend Snowtrax Store for their boot fitting service. I also highly recommend Tecnica Cochise ski boots which have been amazing to ski in and comfortable on my feet even for 10 hours a day as a ski instructor. And thank you, Bernie, for being so helpful, professional, efficient and friendly.
