I teach Japanese through this company. The staff at this company is friendly and helpful in matching teachers with students and assisting with textbooks. I can tell that they are very careful about handling personal information and security measures. Thanks to them, I am able to have a safe and enjoyable class. I hope to have another opportunity to work with them even after my course with current student is over!

My first experience with Language trainers has been a positive one. Right from the get go, they have been easy to deal with. My course coordinator, Catherine, was in touch immediately after my signing up and she has reached out to me continually to make sure the training is progressing to my satisfaction. My instructor, Kota, is a very nice man who teaches in a relaxed and easy going manner. He has provided well run lessons and he has also given me the resources (recommending books and videos and such) so I may do as much studying on my own as I wish too. I highly recommend him for those wanting to learn the Japanese language. Especially beginners who may have some reservations or self doubts. All in all, I am pleased with my choice and I give a five-star recommendation.

The company advertised that they needed a French teacher for adult learners, and that the work would take place at the learners' work place. Twice a week, time to be determined between myself and the students. They advised I prepare docs to back up my credentials. Waited a few weeks, was "offered" to teach the five students at around 9 or 10 on Tuesdays, if I could manage that--in May (today is 10 Feb.). I'd already told them I work Monday to Friday mornings / afternoon. They also had the gall to ask if I could pass this on to one of my colleagues or friends if I couldn't do it. No mention of credentials now, nor even how much I was being paid. Notice that the response below tries to make this about the start date, which is not actually relevant to my complaint. Why are they ignoring the main point? The only time available to teach is TUESDAYS BETWEEN 9 AND 10 AM when I and most other people are working. The company already knew I would be unavailable. Canada has only 5% unemployment. MOST people who are qualified to teach French in Winnipeg are already working full time. Therefore most of the people who applied for this job were wasting their time: instead of suggesting that their clients work out a time for teaching with the prospective teacher (as originally outlined to me), like any competent go-between would do, they simply took the "Tuesdays at 9 or 10" as written in stone. Good luck finding that highly qualified French teacher who is free in that exact time slot every week!

We engage them for live language classes with live teacher at our residence. After telling us they had 18 teachers and inducing us to sign a contract and give a $500 deposit, they passed us to a "coordinator" who, after a week, told us they didn't have any teachers available at the previously confirmed day/time. We insisted on a refund of the deposit, which they say they will do. But we would not recommend a company like this. They should have had firm confirmation that they had a teacher ready to start before they asked us to sign documents and charged a deposit. Very very poorly handled.

I was looking to improve my Spanish and am very glad I chose Language Trainers. From day one they communicated with me effectively in terms of scheduling, payment, expectations, and any other questions I had. I was paired with Hector and he is incredible. He’s always on time, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He made each lesson enjoyable, and his patience made it easier for me to build confidence in what I was learning. Language Trainers is a great place to work. The company works hard to keep you safe and happy. It offers an outstanding support via email. The company provides prompt payouts in the end of the month and you are free to decide your schedule and teaching materials. I love working for Language Trainers.

From the teachers view you need to watch out. You get a lot of administative work you need to do for free (repeating interviews that could be done once, taster classes etc) but they arent resonable on the prices they offer you. As a teacher they will leave you with max. 60% of the price paid by the client.
