United Kingdom | 28 February 2024Absolutely one of the worst housing ever, don't keep up to maintaining the outside, even tho we pay to have them do the outside, been here 17 years, cheep formica, units now falling apart, ( because of the super cheap materials they use) outside door never been painted, inside mouldy. I keep up to my part of the contract. Paying rent on time every month, painting and decorating inside,. Carpark is full off moss. They are meant to clean this. Absolutely discrasfull on their part. Neighbours now complaining to me, because moss side st vincent's, are just grabing the rent and forgetting about the state of repair , and bringing the nice private area down. Fences all collapsing due to storms, over the years, and the flimsy wood they used isn't fit for bad weather. I can't do the garden work or window cleaning myself, nor can I scrub the moss from the carpark. Staff are extremely rude!!! When asked to maintain the outside ( as they do get paid extra to do this). St Vincent's you are an embarrassment to yourselfs and residents!!!!

United Kingdom | 07 January 2024Awful. My parents have been requesting a roof repair as it leaks into their house every time it rains. Which happens almost daily as they are in Manchester. The issue has been ongoing for over four years and all they do is come for an inspection and then disappear. They really don't care, it has massively affected the property and affected my parents lives but they don't even care. They don't respond to messages on their portal, they don't do anything after a phone call or even a visit to the office. But when it comes to rent you find them at your door knocking. All they do is take rent money but anything else no care in the world. Communicate with your tenants..

They replaced a perfectly good front door with a new one and ever since in last 2 years the door handle keeps falling off, Rather than replace the handle they keep repairing 8 times its been repaired, now leaving my disabled mum having to walk through an a dirty alley way to enter house from the back garden. They are telling us we have to wait 2 months as its not an emergency before some one can come out! Leaving a 80 year old disabled women using a back door! Lets hope nobody treats their mums like this!

United Kingdom | 11 March 2023Update. If you dare seek compensation ir you let a staff know you dont like them because they legally breach confidentiality laws. They will try do court injuctions citing anti social neighbough to neighboughood despite ive been bed bedbound over 2 years. (So no1 sees me to the point the old lady across the road kmcoks to check im safe if she doesnt see curtain movement), etc.behind your back made up of lies. They try to bully people they think are vulnerable. The company is racist agaimst white people Awful customer care. Apart from 1 person I find great on their team. That persons been invaluable help and he deserves 5 stars..Used be really nice once MSV really liked them years back, I dont feelthat way now & feel any freindly community spirit with them lost and find them very untrustworthy & record everything with them now as they totally lie over a lot of things & try making threats..Ive been told by workers & council to take them ombudsman in oast repeatedly but due to poor health refrained. Lived with Damp for years which they refused to fix they haven't still give me a compensation form for all my damaged belongings from their damp & mould. Had to take time off work in the past from being sick from the damp in my room and on prescription head tonics for Fungus thats developed on my head through ityet have just recently had the nerve to say I owe them rent arrears even though they collect from my UC. Also I seem to be the only person in the past on my estate thats ever had a house visit. I was lied to and told tgey do them every 3 years not true never had one 7years since except during covid restrictions one of them had tried to turn up at my door unannounced and left a message through door to say which I saw on returning home. Im not sure they should even been recieving rent whilst I was living with black mould & heavy damp to the point of flooded ceiling. Sure they're rent payments aren't allowed for houses in that condition. So would think its likely they owe back thousands to HB and me in just rent not even compensation. Yet they have the nerve to try harass someone they know is not well and a vulnerable person Repair men never turn up when should & instead have previoysly try turn up on a day I told them ( the next day i was at work but would be fine rsst of week)when your out or just turn up on the spot when they feel like it in the hopes your in. I've had them send about 6/7 of their own surveyors, I recently had 1 poor surveyor of theres knock on my door over fiixing missing roof tiles which I told him they came out the year before and said theyd fixed them & I was expecting a different repair. We talked about the damp condensation problem thats mainly left to my room but he wanted to put a some sort of exteactor elsewhere in the house as a idea of course it would cost me fuel money. Woke up recently night before Gp appointment throwing up on a bad weather night. I cant have them just keep turning up when they want asim already ill. Have a damaged spine and other illnesses MSVuse be good 10years ago but awful past 6 years. They constantly lie over repair dates etc.. (their decorator man was really nice though & 1 surveyor I think maybe their first one was more thorough on his job & also quite caring and asked a lady to cgeck on my welfare when he left as i re ieved a call) who come to recover half assed repair they had some contractors come out to do. Think the contractors ripping msv off. A surveyor come out said that wasnt right what they'd done and would get on it. To many surveyors out now & it sends my PTSD through the roof with anxiety of them turning up & being round people on spot as I'm not well & on medication for trauma and obviously back Injuries. And I don't leave my house & my ptsd flares up at strangers at my door or in my house. Was suppose rest years ago never happened due to bad neighboughs ( as others have said this is anotherarea they fail you. Constantly had stuff tipped my garden fly tipping door booted and dented and their staff then treat the rest of the neighboughood as in the wrong when we finally get sick of it and deal with it oursrlves. They also breach protocol on information. Dont take things down. I COULD NAME NAMES OF THE STAFF TGAT DO THIS but wont... looking at the New reviews since this was posted a while back I can see others with the exact same complaints in reviews.. All I cam think is it must be a staffing issue. I think they've employed a few baddens going back about 6/7years ago and its gone downhill from there :/ ALSO HIDE Y ALOT OF NEGATIVE GOOGLE REVIEWS!!! JUST NOTICED!!!

United Kingdom | 06 December 2022Despite 2 insulation surveys 1st in February 2022 with another full survey later in year both results showed cavity wall insulation was inadequate, as was the loft. Despite being advised the loft would be insulated months ago nothing has been done. I was told yet another check would be done on cavity walls, in November, again nothing done. It is obvious they are not intending to rectify the issues. I am a 69-year-old, with severe lung issue and other chronic health conditions, who like many others cannot afford to heat my home. They do not care and are for whatever reason not ensuring that small bungalow is properly insulated.

United Kingdom | 04 December 2020I started renting a property with them in September 2020 and it went very smoothly. Very clear and easy action on getting things sorted moving in. Website is easy to navigate, book repairs online, message online, email your housing officer, its all good. The repair guys are all nice too and do a good job. So far so good. Property is nice, needed superficial work, no carpets but now iv made it my own and i love it. I feel secure in my new home and as long as i pay my rent i cant imagine anything going wrong. Looking forward to being a tenant for many years.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2020I applied for a job with this company and I had my personal data seriously breached by this company, the ICO ruled in my favour. Whilst the complaint was live they demanded I attend an interview for a job with them. I was treated appallingly, I made a second complaint which is below and they fully upheld it. However, they refuse to discuss the content and have become arrogant. The ICO state I should take legal action. I want every who applies for a job here to know that they could be wasting their time. Complaint: "Some feedback for MSV regarding my interview. I’ll be as brief as possible as I wouldn’t want to appear as though Its a case of “sour grapes “. Firstly, as suspected I was unsuccessful. Given the circumstances and the fact I felt pressured into attending before resolving my complaint, it comes as no surprise. I was a wreck by the time I entered the room. Observations are as follows- do your hr partners start every interview by reassuring the candidate that they are there on merit and for no underlying reasons, he stated I should relax on this basis but this had the opposite effect. Are you certain that the manager interviewing had no idea about the background complaint as he stated I shouldn’t worry as he’s there on a bluff and doesn’t know his stuff, this came across as a “dig” and wasn’t amusing. I felt patronised the whole way through by the manager, when I presented an example document I’d drawn up, which was used in my current post successfully, he asked whether I was sure I produced it, was it that poor or that surprising? Either way, rolling eyes weren’t what I expected from this individual. Without whittling on too much, talk of training attendance was mentioned, when I stated I’d recently attended gdpr and data protection training the atmosphere completely nose dived. Besides the above, which I expect will be dismissed, I’d now like to make a formal complaint as to the breach of my personal data, the complete humiliation I was made to suffer at the interview, but more pressingly, the humiliation I have to withstand in my current workplace. It’s left relationships strained and awkward. It’s put me off ever applying elsewhere again for fear of a repeat of this stressful nightmare I’ve endured. I am still enduring these adverse effects whilst i await your response to the MSV admission sent to the ICO. I just hope that in time it blows over in my workplace and I don’t keep having to answer why I didn’t get the job or whether I think my colleague “stitched me up”. The fact I had to send you evidence of text messages was further strenuous and disappointing. Should MSV like to further contest the issue then I have two people prepared to disclose what they were informed about my application from my colleagues disclosure, as a result of MSV staff directly mishandling my personal information. I’m disgusted by the whole situation and feel this is seriously affecting my mindset, I’ve had, and still have sleepless nights mulling over this experience and how I’ll get past it. I feel my trust has been violated. I feel I’ve lost the opportunity to progress my career and it’s putting me off doing so for the near future at least. I’ve lost out financially as I believe I’d have faired much better without the mishandling of my information by MSV, in fact this post would have seen a pay increase of well in excess of 4K per annum and that’s at the entry level MSV advertised. Can you inform me if your colleague asked why you were confirming my interview attendance rather than doing it myself as per your standard procedures. Whilst your hr officers attempts to reassure me that I was worthy of interview were obviously in good faith, it immediately embarrassed me from the outset. Whilst I doubt I’ll get a full admission of the dialogue shared, the impact is humiliating, embarrassing and left me feeling very low in confidence. In the absence of a solid admission I can only assume my whole application was shared." As you can see, they treat people like dirt, admit it but refuse to discuss it or even make reference to the above complaint. The only dialogue they would discuss iss the data complaint I made before the above. Disgusting approach. How many others wasted their time and don't know it? Make up your own mind.

All staff are very helpful and caring, they do their best to ensure I get the help I need. During lock-down I have received a weekly phone call to ensure I am coping, as I was Shielding this call is still coming. Amazing service thank you for all your help and support.
