United States | 18 February 2025Right ear bud didnāt work even after trouble shooting. Contacted customer service via email for a return. They refused to give me return options and were slow to respond. They then asked me if I wanted to keep them and get āpartial money backā. Still refusing to give me return info. Had to call and request help. Try refused to pay for return shipping on faulty product. I shipped them back and 14 days have passed and I still have not received a refund.

Albania | 16 February 2025Bought M3, I have tested it a bit and note 5-20 seconds delay in conversational tranlations. It means that you can't pursue a swift and speedy conversation like the company shows in their youtube commercials so the question is, what's the point with TimeKettle? The YouTube clips are missleading. Don't buy it. Wait a few years until there will be AI-models that can deliver.

Portugal | 13 February 2025Overpriced ($300). Cheap build/construction (~$50). Charges for each language download for offline use (i.e. cannot download languages for offline use unless you pay for each downloaded language, i.e. virtually useless without Internet, i.e. virtually useless).

United States | 06 February 2025terrible customer service and the products are advertised as being WAY more advanced than they really are. I bought the Timekettle WT2 Edge/W3 Real-time Translator Earbuds and the product couldnt do simple spanish to english translations. and to return it? horrible time - customer service was so bad and didnt respond properly. not to mention extremely rude.

Dominican Republic | 14 January 2025Purchased the M3 translator Earbuds. Product is a total scam. The product simply does not work. First, the earbuds do not translate⦠the phone app translates so you have to stick the phone in the speakers face. Although It did not matter how close, the app did not pick up the full conversation. For the little that it did pick up, I could not hear the translation over the person who was still speaking. As earbuds for calls they are mediocre with people telling me I sound like Iām in a cave. Iāve sent a number of complaints to the company via website without response. Seriously disappointed. I work offshore and really needed them to work.

United States | 02 January 2025Received this item as a gift. I have no use for it. It is unopened. Reached out to customer service and was told that a return requires an Order No. As a gift, I do not have that. Response comes from Shenzen, China.

Ireland | 20 December 2024I bought it tempted by the promise of a good translation. The translator works well when tested on YouTube, for example, or in Chinese-English translation. Unfortunately, in real conditions (in my case, a visit to Vietnam), it does not fulfill any of the promises. Delay - even for individual words up to 20 seconds, minimal translation accuracy. It translates something completely different than what was said. Google translator is several levels better than this overpriced translator.

United States | 23 November 2024I purchased the WT2 Edge and received it today. The problem is that the box is completely empty except for the directions. I went online and scheduled a zoom meeting support call, and have been sitting in that zoom meeting for over an hour, and no one has ever come into it - SCAM BE ADVISED DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

United States | 15 October 2024I purchased the TimeKettle translation devise in July, 2023. The battery (available from TimeKettle exclusively) died in September, 2024. TimeKettle cannot/will not replace the battery, but generously offers a 10% discount if I purchase a new device. Thanks, but I think NOT!

United States | 01 October 2024Watched the W4 Pro product view on Timekettle's website. It shows two people talking very fast at each other with no delay. I thought that was amazing. So I purchased it for $404 dollars. When I used it in real life I was in a similar situation as the video. Sitting across from a Romanian fried who speaks little English. The product did not work as advertised. It was a good 5 - 20 second delay. It sometimes said poor connection, yet when I tested my cell speed it was 500mbs down and 200mbps up. We tried for 30 minutes to use it. Gave up on the 1:1 mode and tried traditional one at a time translate mode. Even in that mode it was wrong 40% of the time on translations. When I asked to return it, they told me I had to send them a video and help test it for them. When I refused, they said they'd accept a return but I have to pay return shipping. I ended up buying an IFlyTek translator off of Amazon and it worked perfectly in the same situation. I would not recommend this product. Needs more bugs worked out.

United States | 30 September 2024Timekettle has lots of views but no replies on YouTube. That's where I've gone to see if l can get more insight on their products since customer service in my opinion has terrible explanations. The W4 pro interpretor is the one I'm trying to get but can't really get a straight answer from customer service. l thereby turned to YouTube for answers from anyone that might have something to say. How can a site has 2k views for example but only 10 comments. l find it strange. l would imagine Timekettle would fix there customer service responses and or training in order to boost sales. Bottom line,..seems like a good product with no information to back up the comments given from the company. Reluctantly I'll give it a 3 leaning toward a 2 or 2.5.

United Kingdom | 24 September 2024I purchased the M3 earbuds and Zero portable translator whilst on sale with some hope that one or the other might be of assistance in my travels. The Zero never worked, right out of the packaging. The instructions are very simple, so I know I did everything correctly. They just didnāt work. It happens. The M3 earbuds I was initially very happy with when testing against YouTube clips in foreign languages. But when testing in a real world situation in my multi-lingual office, they didnāt pick up anyone elseās voice, and were a complete kerfuffle to set up ready for testing in each language. At this point I was disappointed that the technology wasnāt there yet, but I was content to return and looked forward to seeing what the next few generations of the product would achieve, while I continued to Google-translate my way across overseas destinations. I arranged to return the product. Although the Zero didnāt work at all, I was still advised that I would be liable for return postage. It was negligible, so I didnāt contest it. But I was, again, somewhat disappointed in the service and ethics of the company. The BIGGIE is that I sent the item back Next Day Special Delivery and never heard anything back from the company. This part is on me. Life has been busy of late, and a week passed before it occurred to me to recall I had not received any confirmation or refund of this return. by that time I had put the receipt āsomeplace specialā (insert facepalm here) and now have to concede that it is lost forever. Annoying, but should not have been a problem if Timekettle were an honest company who acknowledged receipt of the product. It would have been easy for them to identify as I put the order number both on and IN the packaging, along with both products and a note explaining the reason for the return, as well as my name and contact details. Regrettably, Timekettle refuse to acknowledge having received this item, so I am not only out of pocket the full cost of both items, but also paid to have it shipped back to them at my own cost. Feeling foolish and victimised. It is of course ultimately on me for not keeping a handle on such a valuable receipt. But the experience does also expose the genuinely unethical nature of the company. And at present the gimmicky product is so sub par as to not be worth the risk.
