Good experience but some improvements Overall, had a totally fine experience with 1300 Rubbish. I requested a quote for the amount of rubbish we needed to have removed, and was called that afternoon from 1300 Rubbish. After a pleasant and easy conversation about what we needed done, I received a verbal quote and nominated a time to have the pick up happen. I called back the next day to change the timeframe, and this was easy and fine. Again, fantastic customer service over the phone. I didn't receive any confirmation via email that the pick up was occurring, which was nerve wracking on the day as I wasn't certain it had been confirmed. I heard directly from the team picking up our rubbish, about an hour earlier than it had been booked for. This was okay as the tasks we needed to finish BEFORE the rubbish was removed had been completed early. Upon arrival, the team found the house easily enough and were observing social distancing, which we appreciated. Their attitude upon seeing the amount of rubbish we had to pick up was disconcerting - both workers immediately seemed irritated and questioned my discussion on the phone with the person I'd arranged with. They explained that it can be difficult to communicate the quantity, but overall seemed very upset by the difference from what they'd apparently been told. Regardless, we accepted the new quote, which included that the mattress we were having picked up would cost $20 for removal, something I wasn't aware of and would have appreciated learning during booking as the rubbish was being split between housemates and not knowing initially this made splitting the costs difficult. After the second quote was agreed with the workers, they both removed the trash quickly and efficiently, despite it being a windy day. At payment, I was surprised to have to read out my full credit card details to the man rather than be able to pay with paypass or otherwise. Overall an okay experience, but definitely not a smooth as initially expected.

They were on time, reasonably priced and very COVID-19 safe (we all had masks on, they were picking up a large and heavy futon sofa bed). I will be using again and highly recommend.

I had arranged a time for a pick up of the rubbish the man arrived on time very courteous. I had the chairs on the side of the house and explained that he needed a trolley to get them through the gate. He got his trolley and loaded each chair up 1 at a time and managed to get them through the narrow gate and carefully weaved past the gas meter. He never hit anything or did any damage even to the chairs which were going to rubbish anyway ha had no reason to be so careful but he was. There was no mess left behind. a superb job. Other in the village had said I should just wait for council pickup but I am very very pleased that I used this service. Fantastic job done highly recommended.

Horrible customer service, received a quote and when I called back to make a booking I had to go through the whole list of rubbish again; then the price increased by $500, I requested to speak with a manager and the consultant kept ignoring me was being condescending and then hung up on me. Will never use this service.
