Today is January 1 2025, the chocolate has still not been delivered & according to the tracking it left Ireland on the 17 & went to Germany. No one to talk to no response to emails. Disappointing in the extreme and I do not recommend anyone to place their money & trust in this company.

United Kingdom | 27 December 2024Lily O'Brien's decided it was a good idea to take Xmas orders and provide ZERO customer service to their customers over the holiday period. I placed my order on the 19th Dec (Order No. 100028777) for delivery on the 23rd, only for the GLS courier in Ireland to deliver it to the incorrect address. As a result, my father never received his Xmas present. I was on hold to the courier from the UK to Ireland twice for an hour each time, only to be cut off by them. I cannot speak to anyone at GLS in Ireland or to anyone at Lily O'Brien's. No gift, money was taken - including a delivery charge - and no one around to find out what happened and dispatch a replacement order. Absolutely atrocious service. EDIT: No doubt millions of people deserve their "well-deserved break" over Xmas, but this statement across as a very passive-aggressive attempt to place the focus elsewhere rather than on the point at hand - which is that Lily O'Brien's were only too happy to take online orders over the Xmas period but did not care enough about their customers to provide even a skeleton staff to assist with any issues that might arise with the order/deliveries. This order was delivered to the incorrect address on 23rd Dec (despite having all the correct details), and no one could ever tell me exactly where that was! Hand-delivering the Xmas gift in January was a nice and appreciated touch, but make no mistake, it is a huge stretch to state that it resolved the issue when it was finally delivered three weeks after the order was placed, with a lot of effort on my part!

United Kingdom | 19 December 2024We ordered several boxes from the limited edition range for presents but order never came on sending email told issue with boat but then when we finally got the order to find out we had two boxes of ordinary desserts they told us issues with Uk distribution so something not add up. But they never contacted us with issues in delivery or the order or even offering anything different eg upgrade to other limited edition products just left it. Only when we sent complaints that they do anything and that was only to refund missing ones. Not good service and to cap it all could have purchased them from local supermarkets cheaper.

United Kingdom | 07 December 2024I have given three stars because I have spent the best part of an hour trying to order these chocolates and keep being told my address is too long. I tried to pay by PayPal wouldn't take that, then my Credit card didn't want that. In the end had to give up. Maybe i will go to my local tkmaxx they usually have Lilly O'Brien their. Shame, but something is not right with that website.
