I'd had a bad experience with another agent in the past; with Barton & Co it was the complete opposite. They have been absolutely fanstastic. They did everything I asked with the listing, communicated with me the whole time (even when the market was quiet they kept in touch with updates on what they were doing), always on time, always professional, always available to answer my questions even when it was unrelated to my sale. I honestly couldn't praise them enough. The whole team had a role to play but I have to thank Louie especially as I had the most contact with him. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again.

Right from the start, meeting managing director Ollie, I had a good feeling about Barton and co. They more than lived up to my expectations... photography, marketing, organisation of viewings, then regular updates on the sale from Hannah, who efficiently liased between buyer, our respective conveyancing solicitors and myself. My calls and emails always answered promptly and professionally. Highly recommended.

Never heard of them. Never wanted to use them. Ex partner put them forward. Selling in Loddon which is not local to them. Given assurances by Nicola that this would not make a difference given their marketing. Very fortunate that the one potential buyer that resulted followed through. Also given assurances no personal interest and they would be acting for both of us. Factually inaccurate as discovered she was a acquaintance of my ex’s new partner (who is from Long Stratton, which is why I sought the assurance in the first place). Chased me at times coinciding with when my ex needed things to progress but abjectly failed to do anything on my behalf in return. Utterly misled into an agency I would not have done had I known the truth.

Responsive, friendly, helpful and efficient. The team at Barton & Co went above and beyond to advise me regarding my rental property that had not been well looked after. Chris helped me think through the best way to get the property on the market and Hannah kept me apprised of all milestones during the sale process. I approached Barton & Co amongst other local agents to market my grandfathers property after he permanently moved into residential care during the pandemic. But there was a snag. I live 150 miles away from Norwich and have very little up to date knowledge of the local area, which meant I was reliant on the agent I was selecting having excellent knowledge of the local area and market in addition to being easily accessible on the phone when I needed to speak to someone about the sale. Barton & Co offered exactly that. At our initial meeting I was talked through their strategy for selling he property, why they felt this was the right approach to maximise the market value, the costs and how I would be kept informed on the progress. Out of three agents that gave us quotations Barton & Co stood out head an shoulders above the rest in terms of giving a detailed assessment of their strategy, why they felt it would work based on other similar properties sold recently in the area and provided those important customer service guarantees to me. Boy was a proved right! The onboarding and marketing process was flawless, viewings and offers came in thick and fast after the property hit all the usual websites and within a couple of weeks I was accepting an offer higher than the price the property was advertised at. Once we reached conveyancing stages, Barton & Co were proficient at "project managing" the various parties through the process, the usual and expected snags occurred (outside of Barton & Co's control I might add) which they took in their stride and kept me informed throughout the process. Most importantly, as promised, everyone I spoke to either on the phone or in person was friendly, professional and wanted to do the very best job they could do for me. I'm a huge advocate of Barton & Co and would recommend them to anyone looking for an agent to market their property in the Norfolk area - my experience has been excellent throughout.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have had the pleasure of using Bartons twice this year, for my mums house and my own. Ollie and his team offer a lovely personal service, they take care of all the viewings so all that needs to be done is leave them to it. They are involved with the sale from the start and help with any problems that may arise when the sale is going through.

I used Barton and Co to sell my house on Long Stratton, I must say they gave top class service, they arrange for the viewing to be carried out promptly and with professionalism, they kept me fully informed at all stages. When they found the eventual buyer they managed the rest of the process with care and speed, highlighting any issues before they became problems, I cannot speak of them highly enough and would recommend them with confidence. Top class agent, possibly the best in Long Stratton.

A property came in the market, on a Friday night, I emailed the office and then rang first thing Saturday. I spoke to mo, who assured me, we can see the property on Tuesday evening, she said Jackie would call, as the owner has some kind of health issue, no calls as it was popular property, and Jackie never took the time to call either, very poor in my opinion and, unprofessional. Tuesday came and went, still nothing, no email and certainly no calls, then they updated the the property to say, no more viewings, still nothing, still waiting. Then, a sold was placed on Rightmove, we didn’t even get a chance to view, as they knew, it was a popular property, and only had cash on there mind, as it was an easy sell, and wanted us to start “a bidding war” when I spoke at the beginning to view, of course they didn’t even apologise after I sent a email to them, saying they didn’t even offer me my viewing, Mickey Mouse outfit. If a property came on with this mob, I wouldn’t even bother, as they are a big let down. I’ve moved 13 times, and this lot is the worst I’ve been with, I would certainly avoid this office Barton & Co Long Stratton, need to really up their game, and treat potential customers, with a little more respect.

We've bought a house through the Long Stratton office and from the first phone call through the entire process, the experience has been positive, friendly and professional. Nicola and Mark have a wealth of knowledge on the area, which has been so helpful for us relocating from nearly 200 miles away - whether it's about schools, leisure, business premises, or recommended solicitors - they have helped us with all our questions to make the move as straightforward as possible. They clearly have a great relationship with their vendors, because we've been able to ask about the house, such as dimensions or works on the home, and received an answer right away. We feel welcomed to the area already and are looking forward to moving in soon!

I cannot rate this estate agent highly enough. They manage a couple of properties for me and are always helpful thoughtful and very reasonably priced. They give good advice and treat both myself as a landlord and my tenants with integrity. Other estate agents could learn a lot from them.
