United Kingdom | 01 February 2024ABSOLUTE SCAMMER. DO NOT USE. How many different company names do you have to use to scam people! Told me £50 per hour on arriving. I was aware of the £49 call out charge. Toilet was “temporarily fixed”. Still gurgling etc. Then proceeded to tell me the bill was £328.90. Challenged the rate and he said he told me it was £250 per hour! Felt I could not challenge this appropriately as he was standing by my only exit. The invoice was finally sent after not receiving it at first. He then wanted to send it via WhatsApp. I requested email and I instead received a screenshot of what appears to be the invoice. Through his personal WhatsApp!

United Kingdom | 10 February 2023Rang for a heating issue. They arranged a technician callout. The technician rang and basically told us it'd cost £240 for him to come look at it and there was every chance he wouldn't be able to do anything as it would need a part. He asked if we still wanted him to come so I said no. I then received a call from him 3 hours later saying I needed to contact the 'office' and let them know we didn't need him. I rang through and explained the situation and the young woman I spoke to (sounded like a call centre in another country) told me I would need to pay a £50 cancellation charge. Steer well clear - total scam artists. I refused to pay and hung up.

United Kingdom | 22 January 2023Rang at 6.40pm and was told some one would be there within 2 hours. By 9pm no one has arrived, so I called back and they had taken down the wrong address. They said that they would send an engineer but by 10pm there was still no sign of anyone. Called them back and they said an engineer was on his way. 9.30am the following morning and still no engineer. My advice - don’t bother! Absolute waste of time.

THEN CHARGES £240 FOR THE PLEASURE. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE PLUMBERS DIABOLICAL BEHAVIOUR, STANDING IN FRONT OF MY WIFE IN A THREATENING MANNER UNTIL SHE PAID!!!

Engineer was good but the lady handling calls was absolutely rude, she needs to understand how to do her job professionally and calmly answer queries, not have a go at customers during their desperate times. I've been out of heating and hot water for few days with a newborn at home, been difficult to get hold of anyone during this season. When Engineer came out today, the initial F2 error had disappeared so he checked other things, charged per hour fee of £180 and left. 5 minutes later there was a leak from the boiler which was not there before he came. Called the lady, she was saying it may be a new fault, I said it wasn't happening before and maybe the engineer needs to tighten a pipe, he came back, reopened and did the same thing as before, leak stopped and he advised a full strip service later and said I can keep it running as he can't see any error code, seemed to be working ok then. 15 min after he left, the boiler made a noise and F2 error came up. I called them again to report that the error has finally come back on again and to seek advice as what to do next. The lady didn't let me explain and started to shout at me saying she can send me invoice that explains detail of repair, etc , she went on to say I can't keep calling every 5 min, this is what happens with boilers,etc and was talking angrily the whole time while I was calm trying to get a chance to speak and explain why I'm calling her back, she didn't let me speak and make an effort to understand my query and she hung up. When I called back she cut my call. I am now left with no heating and hot water and spent £240 for nothing. I don't know whether the fitter was even gas safe certified, maybe he was but won't be using them again! Sad their engineers get tarnished because of this rude lady.

United Kingdom | 16 November 2022The worst company ever. Total rip off and promised a 6 month warranty- it broke within 2 weeks and they refused to come back. Charged a ridiculous amount first time and then refused to even pick up the phone for the whole day when it broke. Avoid at all costs.

United Kingdom | 06 November 2022Rang Local Emergency Plumbers to ask an emergency plumber to attend and agreed a £50 call out charge for them to attend the property and tell us what the issue with our boiler was, then we would agree costs for any labour and parts etc. Once the plumber rang and we discussed costs etc, it became clear they were a lot more expensive than other plumbers so we asked them not to come- plumber was super friendly, understood, and hadn't set out yet. I then received the most abusive phone call i've ever had in my life from the call centre for Local Emergency Plumbers demanding £50 for a call out charge for a plumber who did not attend the property- I was shouted at, sworn at, shouted over. In the end when it became clear she wasn't getting the £50 out of me, she swore once more then hung up. I'm not sure if the language barrier between us caused some confusion on her part but it was completely unprofessional. I feel so sorry for the plumbers contracted by Local Emergency Plumbers because they'll end up being tarnished by the terrible company.

United Kingdom | 03 August 2022Very quick to help The water pipe to my property had burst and water was seeping from below ground and raising into the kitchen. I called in and shortly after a plumber arrived and inspected the job. It was complicated job from what I could see, lots of digging and investigating, sure enough he found the leak and made the repair. The service was very efficient and the pricing was upfront. I can strongly recommend to those in need of a plumber.

This company came out very quickly and sorted the problem within the hour. Their work was excellent, very nice tidy job, the customer service operator on the phone was friendly and helpful and explained everything at every stage. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing emergency!!

The engineer gave me a realistic quote that fitted my budget and he fitted my new boiler two days later. Marvellous service and very polite and helpful engineer. Thank you guys you saved the day.

Having dealt with a good number of plumbers over the years with respect to different properties, after a quick diagnosis he went on to offer the clearest and most open advice on fault prevention. A great guy, a great service and a competitive price. I'm now inclined to give this company a call and ask for Franky again. Highly recommended!

I had a leaking pipe as a result of a DIY mishap and found that emergency plumbers are not as easy to find as I had imagined. This company was not only able to send me someone the same day – as I said 45 mins later, but they were friendly and had the problem fixed in a little over half an hour - which was reasonable. Overall, very happy.
