Amazing training, excellent practical opportunities to learn new relevant skills.

I completed an outdoor first aid course at Pinkston in March 2022. The instructor Andy was great managing to deliver what is sometimes grim content in an upbeat, helpful and informative manner. I would feel more confident dealing with first aid situations now and have extended my repoitoire of dad jokes. What's not to like! Highly recommended.

Absolutely enjoyed the First-aid course. It was fun and informative. Andy was very organised and gave us interesting and thought provoking scenarios to do. I will be back in three years time!

Andy and the course was amazing, very fun and interactive and Andy is full of knowledge, it was clear he has a lot of experience and was able to contextualise first aid skills into situations for everyone on the courses individual backgrounds

The best first aid course I’ve been on. It was very practical, mostly outdoors and not to much classroom stuff. Andy, the trainer, was great and adapted training scenarios to what we might encounter during the course of our field of work.

Fantastically adapted to be outdoor as much a possible while still giving us the skills and knowledge required to underpin the practical applications. Creative scenarios and lots to think about. Outdoor first aid training was great! Really relaxed environment which was super helpful for me to learn. The mix of practical with knowledge based stuff was perfect, and really helped to cement my learning. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone needing an outdoor first aid qualification.

Despite a wide range of ages and outdoor pursuit interests in the group, the course tutor did an excellent job of maintaining the engagement of all in the theory of outdoor first aid aided by varied scenarios to make learning fun and practical. I would thoroughly recommend this company to deliver an outdoor first aid course for both land or water based groups.

Andy was fantastic, the pace, structure and activities of the course provided the ideal environment to promote positive learning. The materials and hands outs as well as Andy's in depth knowledge of each subject area were first class. I would 100% recommend attending Adventure Academy courses to anyone and I will be attending more.

The course was excellent and would highly recommend choosing Adventure Academy for your first aid course. The tutor was able to adjust the course to the needs of the participants which was brilliant.

Easy to follow training plan which was really hands. Lots of practical time and group discussion. Completed at a really comfortable pace.

I had a great time on this course with Andy. The classroom-based learning was perfectly balanced with practical simulations which were challenging and exciting, really testing our knowledge and skills in a fun way both during the day and at night. Andy has such a great depth of knowledge but also allowed us to share and learn from each other making for a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Andy’s courses are always welcoming and fun and leave you feeling confident and well prepared.

Thoroughly enjoyable course and very informative. From the science behind each intervention to the outdoor practice scenarios. Both trainers were engaging and highly knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend this course with this organisation.
