So, this is what is known as a phoenix company. One company closes down but another of a slightly different name rises from the ashes. Even the same named people behind them...and their family members too. This you can confirm by checking via Companies House. The web site & e-mail address are still active. The livery van is still in use. Even a bank account in their name exists. I know, I unwisely made a part payment. Onto the work. Just no. They removed additional panels which were plain timber (photos held). Therein, I'm scratching my chin about the quotation. The asbestos test result was only returned after the work had been completed. Confused? Apparently not normal procedure according to the Health & Safety Executive. An after work air quality test report I obtained was doctored. I do not write lightly. I hold written confirmation of the above -meaning safety was disregarded. Please think of your health and go elsewhere.

THEY HAVE STOPPED TRADING - waste of time calling them. They did not turn up for a job and i was told from someone else they have stopped trading.

The guys were nice and friendly and they did a great job of cleaning the pieces of broken sheets away. I wouldn't have any hesitation calling Jax again if I needed their help. Cheers!

Had asbestos wall paper to remove from two walls so they removed the whole plaster and lathe wall which will now cost more to replace than removing the asbestos. one flimsy dust sheet over the door didn't stop a huge amount of dust getting into other rooms adjacent to the kitchen. Was offered a £100 discount to help with clean-up costs but really not a great experience. Not what you expect from so called experts in asbestos removal.

An urgent request for samples after myself and my builder discovered some suspect looking insulation boards during a refurb in Hillington. Response from JAX was immediate, did not hold up the work, sample results were rapidly returned (negative) and a very thorough detailed report issued. Absolutely delighted with the service - outstanding!

Sean and Laura were fantastic all the way through my project. I had artex ceilings throughout the house which I wanted removed with new plasterboard reinstated. JAX was able to provide a removal and reinstatement quote and was great at helping arrange any other traders that were needed. The price was fair and the job results were great.
