About North Wales Recycle IT CIC

We are a not-for-profit social enterprise (also termed a Community Interest Company) and the only treatment centre of this kind in North Wales, offering secure and professional recycling, re-use and disposal services for all IT equipment. Disposing of your business’ redundant IT responsibly is a legal requirement (The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013). Legislation protects the environment from thoughtless discarding of old equipment, and your customers from the careless handling of their data. Our fully accredited Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) destroys all data and where possible, appropriately re-uses your hardware, guaranteeing your legal compliance whilst working with the wider community for the benefit of all.

North Wales Recycle IT are an amazing company, churning out excellent reconditioned laptops for very worthy causes, with all kinds of apps and software already loaded. Thank you so much from everyone at Croeso Menai, you are a life saver for those who have so little in our modern society.

I dropped off my Dads old computer at their base on Llangefni ( he is getting a new one for Christmas). Wow what a big set-up, not what I was expecting. The big guy in reception was halve way through load a van with laptops for a housing organisation taking in a new influx of Ukrainian refugees! donating them free. I asked if all computers are donated and he said no as they are self funding. But said schools and charities just need to register online to be eligible for computer donations. Love the concept and will be asking a few businesses I know to recycle with them.
