The flag's quality is excellent and the service is top notch!

I bought a Union Flag as a present for my son. While the product is of good quality I can not recommend this company. To charge £8.34 for shipping a flag weighing perhaps 200 grams, within the UK, in a plastic envelope is ridiculous when it would cost no more than £3.00 as a parcel and would fit in an envelope for £1.30. To have a single rate of £8.34 for all parcels between 0kg and 8kg shows that this company does not want the business of individual buyers - so they will never again get mine.

Ordered a flag for indoor display on a flag pole, ordered the flag and specified in the notes that it was for indoor display and that I would need a hem sewn onto it. Charlotte from flagmakers e-mailed me to confirm the dimensions of the flag pole. So you can imagine my annoyance when the flag finally arrived and it was roped and toggled for outdoor use, no hem in sight. I e-mailed flagmakers and Charlotte was good enough to tell me it was my fault for not indicating that I needed it for indoor display purposes.....the same Charlotte who had contacted me looking for the dimensions of the pole it was to be displayed on.......When I corrected her I got a half hearted apology and told i'd need to send the flag back if I wanted to exchange it....no offer to pay for shipping since it was her mistake..so i'll be getting a refund instead. I had bought items from this company before, but not any more.

Good product (a sewn St Georges flag) at a reasonable price, very quickly delivered. My only minor gripe is about postage cost - we weren't in a hurry for delivery and it was a small package - it could have been sent as a Royal Mail 2nd Class small parcel for £3 rather than the £8.34 paid for a TNT delivery!

I really can’t comment yet as I haven’t received anything!
