The book provides a comprehensive insight into a very complex and a competitive process of applying for a City Law training contract. This is an excellent resource for someone outside the UK Jurisdiction planning to pursue relevant steps to be a qualified lawyer in the UK. The author breaks down different pathways towards City Law which I found to be extremely helpful.

As a student, I've read lots of these types of books but this is definitely the best! Really thorough and it helps to have anecdotes from real life practice as it's so hard as a student to get behind the 'real life' of a law firm and learn about what life is really like.
