Updated Review. There has been an issue when it comes to my dogs microchipping. A misunderstanding involving multiple employees that's spanned over a course of a few days. A manager has contacted me to offer solutions, offer apology and even went above and beyond by sending a gift for my new rescue pup. I just want to acknowledge that I genuinely appreciate the support and help offered through the whole experience. And at this point I would not hesitate to recommend Petmania East Point in Limerick to anyone.

Great service and speedy delivery

Petmania Carlow Grooming. My dog Winston was really struggling for the past couple of days due to heat. He couldn't sleep or go for his walks as he was breathing heavily and I had to take him for cold baths to cool him down. Last night was very difficult. I rung Petmania Grooming Carlow to ask if they have some available appointments, with no hopes they would have. I explained Winstons struggle, and they said they will do all they can to see Winston but they are fully booked, however they will call me back if they'll have some cancellation. They rung me back within one hour asking if I can come in the next 20-30 min. Despite of the fact that they were super busy, they understood my problem and they squeezed Winston in their busy schedule. They don't know how much they helped me, even now Winston sleeps calmly without heavy breathing. I am their regular customer for Grooming, dog and cat shopping. I even buy stuff for my chickens in Petmania Carlow. Always great customer service, they go beyond and above. THANK YOU SO MUCH for today.

Quality food and efficient delivery system.

I bring my senior labrador Bailey every month for a grooming, she absolutely loves it which is amazing as she is a very anxious dog. The groomers are incredible, so gentle with her and also the retail staff are lovely, I really can't fault anything about Petmania, Ballysimon road.

I have no words to describe how happy I am with Petmania Ballysimon Road in Limerick. After one grooming session, I had no doubts that they were amazing and now we are in our second annual plan with them. Phoebe, my dog, loves them, and she is a drama queen sometimes. Natalia and Olivia are superstars and I trust them with Phoebe so much that we drive from Dundalk to Limerick just for Phoebe to be groomed there every month. The whole team is amazing! I couldn't recommend them enough!

Helpful and knowledgeable staff. We use the grooming services and get our dog's food and monthly medical / topical treatments there. Always welcoming and staff know our dog by first name. He is always happy to go for his groom too, which is great to see.

Fast and accurate order fulfilment.

What a sh-t hole. Don't treat dogs right and don't give a sh-t about your dog when it's in there. Saw some of the grooming parlour when walking past and it was so dirty. This was first thing in the morning by the way Didn't care that dogs were yelping as they clipped them, yes some can be dramatic but really? Especially when you can see them being groomed? Do you not feel ashamed? Most staff were friendly and that's about all they have going for them 🤷🏼‍♀️

Product price was good, but that was all. Only option to pay via card was by PayPal and even though my account is set to € it charged it at a $ price so I had to pay an exchange rate. I had set up a subscription plan which I then cancelled after this fiasco, but I received an email a month later to say that my order was ready for collection in store. I then tried at another time to book a groom but it wouldn't accept my password. A reset password link was never received. Set up an account with a different email and that was successful but it uses 2FA and sent an SMS - never received. I could log into my Petmania account which accepts the login as above but redirects to another site for the grooming. That one does not accept the same credentials and then when you try to register it says you have already registered. The store itself is lovely, and the staff are helpful. But in this day and age when the online presence is as poor as that, they are setting themselves up for failure. Not everyone goes into a bricks and mortar and there are many other competitors out there with a much simpler process.

My local pet mania store is Tralee , the staff are just fantastic and so helpful, I have 5 dogs and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with them, my oldest dog is 13 years and the care that they give him when he gets groomed is unbelievable, I couldn’t ask for more from them, 5 star service all around
