I used this company about a year ago to help regularise works carried out on a property (prior to my ownership). I only have good things to say. David Mansoor communicated clearly at the front end, was professional and patient(!) with me throughout. And quick. More importantly, the works were regularised. Happy customer.

We were sold the contract by Jeremy Stein to work on a planning application for 8/9 flats in East London. Since we instructed them, the work was passed down to other people who I believe were interns. When making calls regarding sales and payment Jeremy communicated very well with us, however since we paid the deposit, the firm actively began avoiding communication with us by phone claiming to have changed company policy. We had to point out a number of mistakes in the drawings which they had to concede and correct - we can provide proof of this. The drawings were ill considered, unprofessional and unsatisfactory. When we exposed these facts they became increasingly difficult to contact unless we threatened to cancel the contract. I would highly recommend against using this company - they are not on the client’s side and once they have your money will become complacent. In my opinion they overcharge and under deliver. The only time we received responses to our attempts to communicate was when we threatened legal action. Very disappointed. There are also a number of reviews on Google expressing similar experiences with this company. The claims that the client was aggressive are unsubstantiated and futile. We are happy to provide evidence of our correspondence and invite this company to prove “we were aggressive”, despite these false claims, we are disappointed that these accusations are being made, irrespective of these claims, we were polite throughout - the fact is, we were not even communicated with and are disappointed with the service we received. Having paid a large sum of money we were deliberately not communicated with, despite getting through to the office and being assured someone would contact us back. Furthermore, the claim that coronavirus meant short staffing is also irrelevant as we were assured teams were working virtually and know for a fact the company was still operating. We can also provide proof of this. We were told multiple times we would be called back. Despite the circumstances we believe we did not receive fair treatment and are very disappointed with both the quality of work and the level of unprofessionalism. Highly recommend against using this company for medium to large scale projects in my opinion, they do not have the capacity.

D&P were employed for a multiple phased planning project, over a duration of over 6 months. We successful obtained planning as desired thanks to their professional approach and experience. I would definitely recommend and work with them in future.

You can report my reviews all you want. The truth is I have had a very bad experience with your company. No plans were sent back. Consultant had changed plans from the promised 50m2 to the 32m2 and charged me around £2,500 for a garden house plan. It is extortionate. I lost my deposit and that was my hard worked money. I personally do not recommend. Response to reply: Since then, I have received permission for a 60m2 garden house with another company after Drawing and Planning failed to help achieve this. I do not expect or want any more service from yourselves, especially after your performances. All I want is a fair return of the sums I invested minus the cost of sending 1 individual to measure the garden. You have previously stated that you had sent me the planned sketches which is an obvious lie, I would be grateful if you can prove this via your previous emails.

David, Jeremy and the rest of the team were great in helping me acheive the planning I set out to get and more. We were really able to maximise our space and the servce and turn around was excellent. We had support in both pre-app and application and were supported the whole way.

David Mansoor and Thomas Tinel were professional, providing advice, guidance and expertise which lead to a successful planning application for a Change of Use from HMO to Children's Residential Home. I was provided with advice to make contact with local Councillors and to engage with the local neighbours after my application received an unanticipated high volume of objections (87 to be exact). Overall the credibility of the proposal was recognised by the Council and the application was approved without the need for any complicated Committee Meetings or appeals, within timescales. I would like to express my sincere thanks for this service and would highly recommend.

Jeremy Stein of Drawing and Planning,is an amazing professional,who is focused on providing extra value to his clients.He has saved me from making a huge financially disastrous purchase on a 5 bedroom house in Barking, which i wanted to use as a HMO. Having spoken to many professional over the past two months for my first HMO purchase. I was assured by Barking and Dagenham HMO department, that there was nothing prohibitive to me getting a licence provided all the regulations were met. I also contacted the planning department, to confirm if it was possible to submit a planing application to convert the property from a family dwelling to a HMO, they responded, yes provided I had the owners permission. Jeremy was the only professional that advised me, that in fact it was highly unlikely that I would get planning permission to convert the change of use to an HMO, because of the council current policies on HMO's under Article 4 Direction and explain why very clearly, I am truly grateful for Jeremy's help and advise which has saved me a small fortune. I will most certainly be seeking his services on my next HMO purchase.

I'm opening an business in the near future and was coming back and forth with the council in regards to the permitted use for our business. This took just under a month and yet they still didn't give me a definitive answer (unless i paid a substantial fee). Spoke to Jeremy over at Drawing and Planning Ltd, and literally within 60 seconds he told me using their data system, what permitted use my shop was. Not only did he tell me, but he also advised me on what i can and cannot do. This advice worked greatly in my favour. I will be able to sleep better at night now, having had his expert advice. My advice to anyone in my situation is to ring drawing and planning ltd before contacting the council, which will give you different advice with every phone call! I have been using Drawing and Planning for the last 2 years now and have been thoroughly impressed with their service. Their knowledge on the varying planning stipulations for different boroughs is second to none and they have been solely responsible for achieving two major development permissions for us. As a property developer we needed a partner to work closely with to enable us to source the most cost effective developments. These aren't always straight forward and often needed an intelligent, outside the box, perspective to achieve the desired result. DAP's planning team have met this requirement every time. The team of architects are all very knowledgable and extremely skilled at what they do. Their knowledge on building regs and the London Plan is excellent but their acute eye for detail is their most impressive attribute. I have and will continue to recommend DAP to people within my network. Everyone there is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.
