Although the advert was on eBay, it was worth contacting the advertiser because there are other technical things required such as the size. I needed a particular colour and got exactly what I wanted very quickly, delivered direct to the Undertaker. All the other necessities were fulfilled sensitively and with no stress or fuss.

‘Steve’ was exactly what I needed when I called him. I had no experience and needed help. All I knew is I wanted a Natural, beautiful Coffin rather than a harsh wooden one. Once I found the website and spoke to Steve, the pressure was lifted as he talked me through the whole process, explained that the Director must accept the Coffin you have delivered and also saved me money in the process. The Coffin was lovely, sturdy, looked really special and was a conversation piece for the remainder of the day. I can’t thank you enough for providing Mum a fitting send off.

Amazing service, beautiful coffin, I bought the cardboard one with woodgrain and chargeboard for crem, had it delivered straight to mortuary rather than house, everything went so smoothly, and the guys even had me giggling in possibly the darkest days ever, would definitely use again (praying not for a very long time though)

They are very professional and caring, your wishes are carried out to the letter. I would recommend to anyone, and I will be using them again, but I hope not to soon thank you very much.

I'd recommend Compare the Coffin to everyone! I'm a funeral celebrant and I know how important it is for bereaved people to be treated with kindness, warmth and practical efficiency - and Steven couldn't have been more helpful. Hopefully I won't need it for a while, but I'd decided to order a coffin for myself and keep it in my flat until the time comes for me to be buried nearby on my daughter's farm. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands was slow, but in the circumstances this wasn't a problem - and I think Stephen was more concerned about it than I was! The quality of the coffin is brilliant - thick cardboard, sturdy handles, good biodegradable lining.
