Nicola is a wonderful antenatal teacher. She has a fun and friendly approach and ensures everyone gets the most out of the class. She not only provided me with excellent support within the class but also around the class, especially when I was struggling with breast feeding. I really appreciated her advice and even more so as it was around the Xmas period so there were limited nurses available. I would highly recommend Nicola.

I met Nicola when I was 7 months pregnant and recently moved to a new County. She became my friendly face that I needed and was fabulous in supporting me through the latter stages of my pregnancy, giving me the confidence I needed to prepare for my baby, empowered me to manage the whole experience (birth and beyond) my way and even introduced me to people who are now good friends. A wonderful woman and a wonderful approach to motherhood.

I was so lucky to stumble across Nicola’s antenatal classes - both as part of a group and she also came to our home for a private day of intensive education and help before the birth of our baby daughter at the end of 2019. She was a wonderful support, I cannot recommend her highly enough if you want to feel empowered, calm and as if someone else ‘has your back’ during pregnancy and birth. She is down to earth, non-judgemental, educated and caring. I ended up having an urgent Caesarean section, but loads of the birthing techniques I learnt with her still came in useful for staying calm and focused, when it was a really worrying time and also when actually in the operating theatre. Thinking through our birth plan allowed me to be assertive about my wishes and care of our baby when she was born. Thankfully we had a really supportive hospital team and it was a great ‘birth experience’ (if that’s the right phrase?). The feeding class from Nicola has been invaluable too. I think it’s stopped me from suffering some of the problems that my friends have had with new babies. I was able to problem solve when my daughter wasn’t feeding properly at first and lost a lot of weight (we are back on track and still breastfeeding 😁). With the best will in the world, the support provided by the NHS would never have facilitated us to achieve success and I think I would have ended up bottle feeding. I think Nicola’s attitude and education allowed me as a mother to have the confidence to think things through and decide on the best course for me and my baby, and to give my partner the knowledge and confidence to support us to get there. We had our first bath yesterday and talking it through with her beforehand made me feel confident in how to do it and it was lovely! I even had her in the bath with me this morning, kicking around and enjoying cuddles and swimming a little. Anyway, thank you ever so much Nicola. I can’t detail all the little things you helped with, but it really was invaluable.

Although I joined mid-term, Nicola made me feel very welcome straight away. My baby absolutely adored her classes and she is an absolute font of knowledge!! My toddler even eats more now due to one of her suggestions! Would 100% recommend!

Nicola’s classes were amazing and I was sad when they finished. The balance was always perfectly struck with enough stimulation to entertain the babies without overwhelming them. Nicola’s calming personality comes through and puts Mums and babies at ease. I would definitely recommend.

So glad we went to Nicola’s daisy wrigglers classes, it has not only been fantastic for me in terms of learning about my child’s development, tackling issues with sleep, weaning, breastfeeding (the list goes on!) but has been invaluable for my son who loves the songs and spending time with other babies in such a lovely calming environment. I always walked away feeling that it was time well spent rather than a filler inbetween naps. I would highly recommend.

Whilst pregnant with my second baby I attended the hypnobirthing course with Nicola. I was pretty anxious about the idea of giving birth for the second time, but the course I did with Nicola made me feel so much more prepared the second time round. I loved the course and all of it made so much sense. Nicola was brilliant at explaining it all and it was such a relaxed atmosphere. If I have a third and hadn’t moved, I would definitely go back to Nicola for a refresher course!

Nicola is an advocate for empowering women to understand pregnancy, birth and labour to ensure it is the most positive experience. I attended the mothers only antenatal class, a class for me and my partner and the baby class after my little one was born. When I first attended the antenatal class I was suffering with anxiety, I felt very alone and just needed someone to explain everything in simple and clear terms. I got this from Nicola along with an incredible amount of warmth, humour and genuine care. I felt empowered going into the hospital for my birth, and thanks to the couples class my partner was on the same page as me entirely. My little one loved attending the baby class, and so did I, it was nice to go have the familiar friendly face and safe space when venturing out with a newborn for the first time!

I originally met Nicola at her baby class and right from the first session we were excited to attend the next! I also attended her ante natal class and I have to say if it wasn’t for her and the coaching, I believe my labour would have been very different. She won’t let you leave confused or worried; she tells you straight and keeps you grounded and confident! All her tips stay with you and become second nature; I’ve never known anyone so calm and honest and it kept me and my partner cool and collected in the delivery room Also, my boy absolutely flourished after attending her groups, he’s more sociable and understands playing with others because of how amazing she set out her groups. I honestly think this woman is magic! She includes everyone and has a wide range of different activities every week which kept it exciting and fun for mums and babies which was nice as it gave us both something to look forward to weekly! I feel very lucky that my son was able to meet Nicola and attend her amazing groups! I can’t recommend highly enough

Did attend a few classes of Nicola and have to say it was absolutely amazing! The small groups of people make the classes really personal and you feel welcome straight away , you dont have to be embarrassed to speak out about problems or worrys at any time and if you need advise Nicola always tyres to help where she can. We enjoyed every second and highly recommend any daisy class with Nicola !!

My son and I did 2 different baby classes with Nicola after moving to a new area and we looked forward to them every week! Nicola is super knowledgeable, friendly and imaginative. Her classes were a great mix of familiarity and the unexpected every week. A perfectly small, intimate class size meant we also met other lovely mums and babies. I would recommend anyone to work with Nicola whether pre or postnatal.

My husband and I did a private antenatal workshop with Nicola. We are both serving in the army and posted apart so couldn't do the usual NCT classes. Nicola came to our house on a Saturday and over the course of the day we learned so much about birth and newborn care. It was absolutely invaluable and the best thing we did to prepare for our baby. My actual labour did not go at all to plan (wanted a home birth, ended up having an emergency c-section) but thanks to the session with Nicola I understood all the options and felt informed throughout what could have otherwise been a really traumatic experience. It wasn't just boring 'being talked at' either - she was really funny and engaging. It was like learning from a really good friend who is prepared to tell you literally everything about birth and who knows the answers to all your questions! My husband had agreed to the workshop for my sake but later admitted that he'd learned loads. Highly recommended!

Nicola is amazing she is incredibly knowledgable and approachable and fun. She's been a life saver for me after having baby number 2, I feel you can talk to her about anything and she's always there to help. Nicolas main concern is the well being of baby and mum and it's so important as a mum to be considered and just so lovely. I'd recommend Nicola to anyone and everyone she's fantastic.

Taking courses with Nicola really was the best preparation for our first baby. I started our journey feeling woefully unprepared and incredibly nervous about labour. Nicola gave me the knowledge and, most importantly, the confidence to have a really positive birth. Her support throughout my pregnancy and postnatally has been such a huge help, I really can’t recommend Nicola highly enough.

I joined Nicolas 6 week antenatal Daisy Birthing course in 2019 and it was a game changer! Nicola has a huge heart and is a genuinely kind and caring person. Her classes empowered me to believe i can have the birth i want, through informed education that was non biased and non judgemental. She constantly went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend joining her classes, they are the perfect blend of birth information, relaxation techniques and gentle yoga.

Hypnobirthing Course with Nicola was the best money I ever spent! I had really bad anxiety at the thought of having to labour in hospital but Nicola gave me all the knowledge and tools to cope and have the birth I wanted at home. Being private in our own house made the ‘stupid questions’ feel less stupid. The support was also amazing for my partner who was unsure on how to support me or what to do with this tiny little human afterwards. I can’t thank or recommend her enough for making such a life changing day such an empowering and relaxed experience and providing support when I needed it the most.

I can’t recommend Nicola highly enough. She will give you all the information you need to make your own decisions. I started the birth and baby care workshop knowing very little and now feel fully prepared for my little girls’ arrival. I loved that the workshop was in our own home and we could fit it in around our work commitments by dividing the session in half.

My husband and I would highly recommend doing an antenatal workshop; we particularly liked it being private and on our own home. Nicola ran ours and it was the perfect way to prepare (as much as you ever can) for becoming parents. The workshop Nicola ran for us was informative and fun, she was very friendly and put us both at ease. It gave us as a couple the time to make informed joint decisions on our birth plan, and to reflect on the journey ahead. Nicola has remained a source of help and support now baby is here. We would highly recommend her workshop.
