United Kingdom | 30 June 2016Very simple service that truly enables anyone to participate in and benefit from exposure to the UK mortgage market. Got my account quickly setup with no hassle even though I am not a UK citizen and had to provide some paperwork.

United Kingdom | 29 June 2016Very simple model for funding. Good rates, see payments monthly. Can't get funds back until end of investment.

United Kingdom | 29 June 2016I have to admit, I had my reservations before signing up. I had lots of questions at first and received incredible helpful non patronising advice before taking the plunge. Signing up and getting started was seamless and after a few months the reporting is super straight forward and my returns are as advertised. Couldn't be happier!

United Kingdom | 29 June 2016LendInvest is a very easy way to invest. It's made very simple for an inexperienced investor and the returns are amazing!

United Kingdom | 21 June 2016I am a retired property developer and have been an investor with LendInvest for only two months. I would definitely recommend this service. The returns are good and given that they are secured by charges and guarantees, they offer reasonable security for your capital. The whole process works very smoothly indeed. There are some improvements I would like to see on the platform but given time and feedback from users, I am sure LendInvest will be looking to continually make improvements to it. David S.

United Kingdom | 13 June 2016Firstly, I would say my experience has been positive. The return on the loans seem good value for the level of risk, the site works well and the staff communication has been excellent when I have raised a query. But I was initially surprised when Lendinvest unilaterally decided to extend a loan I had invested in and communicated this to me late in the day it was due to be repaid. When I raised this with the support I was pointed to the relevant clause in the contract but this is an unattractive feature and I do not see why they give so little notice when they must have been aware of this extension more than an hour before the end of the day. By contrast if a borrower makes a small partial repayment Lendinvest repay all the investors and re-offer the loan on their website. Initial subscribers are notified 45 mins before the re-offering and so it is fairly easy to miss out if the rate is attractive. Lendinvest seem to assume that investors are reviewing their emails at 4.45 each day and in a position to invest at 5.30. Surely it wouldn't be that difficult and much fairer to allocate the reduced loan in proportion to existing investors. Lendinvest have said that they don't want to assume an investor would want to invest in the reduced loan but from the investor's viewpoint the terms have not changed from the loan they decided to invest in other than the amount borrowed has gone down. This is in contrast to assuming that the investor is ok with extending their loan past the agreed repayment date. The site could be improved by making the auto-invest function more tailored to investors requirements as currently the options are too generic.

United Kingdom | 13 June 2016Great service, all questions answered clearly! Enhancing customer experience and reputation!

United Kingdom | 12 June 2016The experience is great and makes it easy to invest. The £100 minimum investment is perfect for small investors. However, as others have already mentioned I would like to see more security, two factor authentication should be made available asap. I also hope that they will soon give the possibility to open an Innovative Finance ISA. I will amend this review when they will have improved security and a reasonable data protection. Come on IT Team, you can do it!

United Kingdom | 06 June 2016Lendinvest offers very good interest rates considering the period you have to set it apart (normally max 1 year). Their website is very easy to use, they pay the interests promptly every month and I like the amount of information they provide for each loan. The biggest risk is of course that somebody doesn't pay back their loan, but this has yet to happen and the underlying 'bricks and mortar' act as a guarantee that you will get most if not all money back eventually. On top of that, I trust the Lendinvest guys to make the right judgment calls which loans to accept and which not. The fact they put in their own money is helpful in this respect.

United Kingdom | 03 June 2016Learning about P2P/bricks & mortar as I go. Is it right for you? It depends on your appetite for risk/reward. Becoming familiar with the platform is an ongoing process & relatively straightforward. LendInvest is an approachable company, who responds quickly to queries. I'm still feeling my way around (after 7 months) & will have a better overview after a year. Monthly interest payments (average 7.6% p.a.) certainly help with the family cash-flow.

United Kingdom | 17 May 2016Just a hassle free experience from sign up to the first investment I made. Completely sold on the whole operation and would recommend it to anyone.

United Kingdom | 15 May 2016Not enough transparency on the loans and weak due diligence process (valuations in particular)

Canada | 11 May 2016I have been investing in P2Ps for more than 18 months now. LendInvest has an easy to use site and has decent interest rates (though this is dropping day by day) and have some loans that are repaid before due date. But compared to every other company on the market, Lendinvest has a very poor attitude towards individual customers. They don't reply to emails, and change messages every time you speak about an issue. The most worrying thing is their contract - they can infinitely extend any loan - you as an investor can do nothing about it. I am not sure if investors appreciate this hidden clause that is presented along with a 25 long page note that on Terms and Conditions. I am slowly winding off my loans here. There are so many better choices out there, who value their 'small' customers, respond to emails, don't have complicated legal contracts, have an easy payment system that does not charge for debit card payments and importantly pay much better interest rates. Take my advice and stay away.

Singapore | 11 May 2016Overall good. It would be better if a second market exists.

United Kingdom | 10 May 2016The investor is lending money to LI not the borrower. The auto lend facility and the web site in general could do with some improvement. Edit: 11-Nov-22 Rates are not competitive down from 4 to 3 stars
