Having paid the best part of 10k to Vitalpower I am still waiting after 9 months for them to complete the installation of my generator and sign it off. Due to the lengthy period before they deigned to turn up to 'commission' the installation, I couldn't find the keys which meant they had to come again with new ones. They charged me more than £300 for a visit from Coventry 15 miles away having done nothing on the first trip, but I paid it because it was my fault. When they turned up again they didn't bring the new keys with them, and after several more weeks I'm still waiting despite me emailing them with no reply. In addition the junction box next to the generator was so badly installed that the cables had pulled out of the bottom under gravity because there was nothing to retain them, exposing bare wire next to the metal case. Repeated emails and telephone calls results in usually nothing or at best a reply after several days, if you're lucky. I will be reporting them to the H&S executive for this potentially fatal fault. Vitalpower were supposed to turn up first thing this morning because I specifically stated I had an appointments all day from 10.30am on, but it had been booked for this afternoon, so the job still not completed, and I've been waiting for more than an hour for them to confirm a new date. You have been warned.
