Tecnis academy’s intensive creative writing course (CWC) was exactly what I was looking for when I was looking into helping my twin sons (9 years old) improve their writing skills. Taking on the 11+ as a family can be a daunting experience for any family. This is especially true for parents of whom had never taken such tests themselves. So, when the opportunity arose for the boys to join this group it simply made sense. It is joyous to see them excited about writing, eager to share their creations with their class and gaining to new skills along the way. Many aspects of writing creatively are covered and I now feel more confident about aiding them in this area from what I have learnt listening to their lessons. Also having the pleasure of meeting Tutu in person I find her to be extremely warm, kind and incredibly generous with her knowledge. She is truly a fountain of wisdom all things 11+ and beyond, from the Facebook group to the numerous courses that Tecnis provides. Her Sticky Maths – Year 5 11+ book is PURE GOLD, not only does it bridge the gaps which other mainstream brand misses but it teaches you how to solve sticky math problems in the most efficient way. An essential exercise book in your 11+ arsenal. As the boys get cracking with it over the half term we shall eagerly await subsequent volumes! I highly recommend exploring what Tecnis has to offer to see if they are a right fit for you and your family.

Tutu was fantastic with a group of children at a school in Kent. She worked on their times table skills and confidence with them and they are now much better within their maths lessons. I could not be happier with the Maths lessons my son attended. He learnt lots but more importantly to me he now loves Maths. The course not only taught him lots but also gave him confidence. 6 Week Maths Course Tutu came in to our school and taught a small group. They all very much enjoyed the lessons and their confidence increased. The book followed a good sequence and built upon skills required through primary level.

My daughter attended Tecnis Academy’s Summer School Programme for one week last month, covering English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. She enjoyed the classes, commenting on how each session taught her something new, in particular, different (sometimes better!) methods of solving maths problems to those she already knew. The online classes allowed her to meet other children of her age group in a different forum to what she’s used to and build her confidence in answering 11+ style questions. The content covered was the ideal mix of easier through to more challenging questions. Each tutor was friendly and encouraging and took care to involve all children. My daughter began online maths tuition with Tecnis academy when she was in year 9 at secondary school. She has just received her GCSE results and achieved 11 A and B grades, which she is really pleased with. She got an A in Higher Maths and a B in Further Maths. The support with her maths studies that she has received over the years has been fantastic. She made use of the free 15 minute consultation that was offered every week and benefited from her tutor offering bespoke support with Further Maths. Areas of concern outlined on progress sheets are never addressed and at this point I am just fed up. I feel like have wasted money done my child a disservice this year. After all the children went through with their education being stolen due to lock downs/pandemic etc.. it is such a crying shame that there are companies continuing to damage and rob the future generation of a quality education. I home educate three girls and so this was not money I had just laying around. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement.

Tutu and the team at Tecnis academy made the journey of tutoring my son for all his external exams great. Tecnis made him focused and gave a person centred approach in tutoring him. He scored excellent grades in his 11+ and ISEB which is a success in all ramification. They did bring out the best in him and my daughter is being tutored by them for her 11+ also. GREAT TEAM!!!

My daughter is in year 1 and she joined the 8-week program. The program is well structured. My daughter no longer struggles to sound and blend her words. Her concentration has improved and her writing skills have also increased tremendously. I am particularly impressed with the kids as they know to mute their microphones when they are talking.

The teachers are amazing so my son always anticipates his class everytime. The fact that the teachers always play game with them in class to make the class fun for them. I’m impressed with the things he learnt and he can read very well now.

Tecnis Academy helped my son Amsel with his preparation for 11+ exam. As at the time I contacted Tecnis Academy, my Son and I had no knowledge about the 11+ exam, after my 1st meeting with Tutu on zoom, her words of encouragement gave me the zeal to push further. There were times I got frustrated and I called Tecnis crying and asking to cancel my contract with them, the way they kept pushing both myself and my Son was very professional yet very welcoming. My son joined The 6 weeks Intensive maths programme and it has been absolutely impactful, he recites his timetables now without even thinking. Tecnis is exceptional with the way they follow up on a child's progress, making sure homework is done, and checking why classes are missed. It almost feels like they adopt your child and do everything it takes for them to succeed. We are currently on the long term English classes and already his performance has greatly improved. Stop deceiving people by asking close client to leave positive review. I will never advise anyone to have any business or register their child with this people they aggresively make you pay even if not satisfied with them. They deceive you to set up a direct debit with them. Who does that? Just for tutoring your child. And when you want to pull out for disatisfatory reason you get stuck. Kumon which is the best and most recommended extra tutor for children would not force you into setting up a direct debit. I had a really bad experience. And their classes are very poor my kids could hardly understand the teacher. They were not helpful at all. I paid for tutoring my child never attended. They are a no no do not fall for the fake reviews. If there is a review less than a star I'll give it to them
