If anyone else is experiencing shoddy customer service and bad attitude from this company, google trading standards Lancashire .l followed by the letter sent To whom it may concern I have a serious complaint which I would like to address to you regarding a business which I believe are providing not only a poor but potentially dangerous service. On 2nd January 2025 I placed an order to My Pharmacy for 50mg of Numark which is an over the counter sleep aid. I paid £5.49 for the product and a further £7.99 for next day delivery totalling £13.48. I was disappointed that the following day my product did not arrive but I remained patient, it was the day after that I received an email to confirm my medication had been delivered. I was confused because I had no parcels arrive so I gave it until the end of the day. Upon my purchase I was asked to send in a photo of my driving licence as proof of who and where my medication was being delivered to, and I had to complete a questionnaire which tells me that they were attempting to be vigilant on making sure that medication is reaching the correct people, and that it is safe for them to take. When my purchase did not arrive, I had to go to a pharmacy and re purchase this medication where I was questioned about my health and warned of use before they allowed me to purchase it, so it is clearly not given to just anyone as it is locked away behind a glass cabinet. I later looked at the confirmation photo proof of delivery and was shown an image of a house with a completely different door number on the front to mine, and was not even any part of the building which I live in. I emailed the company 0n the 4th January and was finally responded to on 7th Jan when I re emailed them pointing out how unprofessional they were acting. They asked me to confirm my address to which I did and I was ignored again until today when I emailed them asking for my refund. It was then that they pointed out to me that my post code had been entered incorrectly by the 2 last letters, but the rest of the address was correct, although this may have been the case, my full address was still present, and they had also received my driving license with my full address on, so my concern is that this company is not cross checking vital information with the proof which they ask customers to send in, so medication is just getting sent anywhere, not to mention that it was delivered to a different house number all together. Their argument was it was delivered to a neighbour but the image clearly show the parcel sat on a door step, so my response back to them was if they delivered this medication to a neighbour then it would have been taken in, but it wasn’t it was on a door step, so why not leave it on the door step of the correct house number if nobody was home because nobody was clearly home at the neighbours either. It was also stated that this parcel had been signed by myself at an address which I don’t know where it was sent to. It greatly concerns me that this company is not cross checking addresses, and they are not handling deliveries with care, I also got this impression from other customers whilst reading their reviews and this needs to be taken seriously. Medication is no joke and should not just be left on someone’s doorstep, especially when it’s the wrong doorstep. 21/01/2025 Update to respond to the outright lie about not asking to address correspondence. On 2/1/2025 at 01:10am I sent you a photo on my driving licence as requested BY YOU! Just be wary people about ordering from these cowboys, you won’t know what’s in your meds.

United Kingdom | 17 December 2024There was nothing wrong with the medication but when ordering I was asked for date of birth but instead of being able to write it down in the usual way , I had to move the calendar provided , which started in2024 ??? And scroll back one month at a time for 84 years !!!

I ordered antibiotics for a tooth infection on a Thursday at 4.00pm received by special delivery Friday at 9.30.. a godsend.. I would recommend this site if you need medication straight away if you are unable to get GP or dental appointment

United Kingdom | 18 October 2024Ordered item 08.30 Thursday, I contacted them via email and their online contact us page. The reply was it would be processed by midday Friday. Friday 12.30 showing as processing. Emailed/Contact us form to cancel order bought elsewhere. 20 minutes later received an email to say it had been despatched. 10 minutes after that received an email saying they could not cancel because it had been despatched. Poor customer service and to slow on this none prescription order, I won't be using them again.

United Kingdom | 10 October 2024Update following reply. As expected, complete and utter scripted patronising drivel. They witter on about meeting regulatory requirements for online purchase. Well, I have bought all these items in recent months from other online pharmacies (Boots, Superdrug) who also have to comply with these alleged regulatory requirements. Not once have I been asked to provide any sort of ID, ever. So, are My Pharmacy saying that Boots and Superdrug are breaking the law? Don't think so. So, if you want to deal with bureaucratic, self important and pompous who want to invade your privacy in order to allow you the privilege of buying simple products from them, go ahead. They will certainly never be 'My Pharmacy' again. Pathetic drivel. Original post: I placed an order for some items which are readily available over the counter. No prescription needed. I've been buying them all for years at pharmacies and Morrisons without a 'little Hitler ' interrogating me. Covonia cough lozenges, peptic reflux aid, sleep aid tablets. They demanded I send them either a copy of my driving license or passport as proof of identity. Why? Nothing more than pompous, self important, beurocratic, totally unnecessary nonsense. I don't drive, so have no driving license. And I let my passport lapse about 15 years ago when I stopped travelling for business. Why do they need a photo of me? They don't. They won't know if the photo is me anyway, as they've never seen me. If they need to verify my age, I could send a copy of my council tax bill. It doesn't show my age, but I don't think the Council tends to send out bills to children. So, I'm clearly adult. You only need a brain slightly bigger than a pea to work that out. Also, have they ever heard of identity theft? They really think I'm going to send them full details of a driving license or passport? Morons. This is nothing less than blatant discrimination against people who dare to not drive or travel, who are then refused the opportunity to purchase everyday goods. Shameful discrimination.

United Kingdom | 03 October 2024Be very wary. Some might feel they want to collect unnecessary personal (very) details that could be misused. Placed an order for some over the counter items. Took immediate payment. Then got a note demanding unnecessary and irrelevant medical history. Cancelled order and asked for due refund. Got a note asking what order and no refind received Update: astonishingly claimed to Trustpilot that I was reviewing the wrong company. Funny that given they tehn did eventually refund. Just appears dishonest.

United Kingdom | 06 September 2024I used this company recently for a problem with an Ear infection, and after doing the consultancy form i made a payment that was taken straight away the problem for me is thats not a guarantee you get the item you have ordered but they have your money,3 days after the order i get a response asking for what allergy i my have ok resealable if i had all ready done this in the consultation .(3days) now the problem is you pay they take your money that sits in there account before you even know if you will get anything in return ,in my case i asked for a refund as it seems like this process was being dragged out,yet to have my money. back

United Kingdom | 30 July 2024My medication was declined without any reason as to why when it is sorely needed. Hopefully don’t end up in a&e! I use online services as my GP surgery has an unprecedented amount of appointment requests and it will take over a week to be seen for something that needs dealing with ASAP. It isn’t always easy to get to the hospital, and a lot of the time they’re not much use either when it comes to these sort of issues. Women’s health needs to be prioritised and all I’ve had is doors shut in my face everywhere I try to go for help! I was that desperate I was willing to pay the 8.99 fee for next day delivery which is a lot of money for a family on a low income. I’m not interested in excuses as to why this medication was declined other than pure sexism and lack of urgency when it comes to women’s reproductive health. Women who have underlying endocrine and hormonal conditions are much more likely to suffer with associated issues for which they should be able to get the appropriate medication for!
