Stephen Ball presented the evening on Zoom to members of a photographic society. He was informative, pleasant, knowledgeable, and the variety of images from the south to the north of Scotland were stunning. A most enjoyable evening.

We had an excellent evening on Zoom. The talk was well structured and Stephen's landscape photography is inspiring. As an added bonus the location and camera settings used to take each photo was shown on the screen as well. Stephen is a very entertaining presenter. His images of Scotland are exceptionally good and he is willing to share his methods of working in the field and his post-processing. His commentary is both interesting and informative. We will certainly invite Stephen to entertain us again in the future and have no hesitation in recommending him to other camera clubs, in fact, we have already done so.

A very good speaker when he gave a lecture to Falkirk camera Club on 29th February 2024. he gave us a presentation entitled 'Scotland through a lens'. Stephens images were absolutely breathtaking backed up with an excellent commentary. wouldn't hesitate to invite Stephen back to our club in the future.

An excellent educational and informative presentation to our photographic society via Zoom. The images were superb and it was really helpful to see the camera settings on each image. I am sure some of our members will be planning trips to some new locations in Scotland now.

Stephen presented confidently at SDCC. The presentation was delivered very professionally with every picture supported by a story and the camera information. In particular, the members in attendance enjoyed the addition of a set of images from the Edinburgh tattoo. A very enjoyable evening.

Stephen gave us a super Zoom talk on Scottish Landscape photography plus an extra segment on The Edinburgh Tattoo. Well paced for the 2 hour slot and clever presentation with all the relevant camera details available for anybody in the audience. Covering everything from busy cities to lonely landscapes plus a terrific set of picture of the Forth Road and Rail crossings and then the final section on an international event covered from a professional's viewpoint with special access it was a great evening for all our members.

Stephen Ball is undoubtably an excellent landscape photographer. His presentation to our club was clear, concise and informative. The wide range of photographs presented were accompanied by detailed commentary, an insight into the thinking behind each image and camera settings, which most of our members found very useful. All in all we had a very enjoyable evening.

An entertaining and informative evening. While many of the locations shown were ones that we knew, Stephen showed us them in a different light and highlighted the value of revisiting locations in different lights and seasons. His passion for the landscape and the location shone through and I think you've given one or two of us the impetus to look closer to home for inspiration

Not so sure about being out at 01.00 taking them though!!! The information given regarding settings was very helpful. It was good to see photography taken NOT through the eyes of a Judge.

Stephen provided an enjoyable and informative talk and images by Zoom. It was a carefully put together talk covering a variety of photographic locations across Scotland, both landscape and urban. We liked to see the camera settings and the tips Stephen provided relating to composition, etc. Some of our members particularly enjoyed the images from lesser known locations, such as Bass rock. We liked the skilful use of interesting foreground elements in many of the images.

It was very good and after initial zoom problems with our signal it worked well. The only negative comment from members was that the font size on the camera settings and the advice at the end was too small even we have a very big screen. Otherwise we were very pleased. Grant
