Jamie has been a fantastic help with my daughters Nat 5 Math. The option for shorter online lessons are great for my daughter who can sometimes struggle to concentrate for long periods of time. We’ve seen real improvement in her understanding and confidence. She feels better prepared for starting her Maths exams this year. Highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a great tutor.

Two of my kids have used Central Tutors over the past few years, for the Chemistry revision groups (both nat 5 and Higher) and one of them did one to one tutoring in physics. Jamie and the other tutors are great! My kids found it really helpful and got As in the subjects. Really felt Jamie and the others fully explained the things that weren’t as well covered in class and set them up fantastically for the exams. So great to have a structure to revision and they can email question through the week and get great individual help where needed even in the groups. Really recommend!

My son has had a few sessions for Nat 5 Maths with Jamie at Central Tutors and has found these very helpful. The sessions are informative and Jamie has been very patient and positive throughout these. They are able to ask questions at any time too. Highly recommend central tutors. We have used Jamie for two of our three children so far, to provide some help with maths. Our son failed his nat 5 prelim then we got Jamie on board and he got a high B. We moved earlier with our daughter who was struggling also in nat 5 tests etc last year, and she's just got a high B at prelim, so now aiming for one better in May, which would've been unthinkable a year ago. The one to one online lessons work really well and they both just really liked Jamie and could see the benefit. Also thinking of using them for a bit of chemistry help.

We have just recently hired Jamie to provide tutoring to our daughter. So far she has been really enjoying her lessons and found him to be patient, knowledgable and approachable to ask any questions if she feels unsure about anything during or even after the lessons. With his help and support she felt more confident in completing her prelims this year. So far, overall we have had a great experience and hoping it continues going forward.

We have been using Central Tutors this past while for my daughters SQA Nat5 level Biology & Chemistry. After an initial consultation with Jamie he paired my daughter with Eilidh for both subjects. They have a great knowledge of the exams and levels and they get to know the person and have tailored the sessions around my daughter’s needs. Eilidh has been excellent as a tutor and has helped my daughter work on problem areas as well as also working on what is most likely to come up in the exams. Eilidh has also helped my daughter with ideas and pointers of how best to retain the information covered in the lessons. I would highly recommend Central Tutors

My daughter is currently receiving tutoring in Maths from Gaia and I don’t know if it’s a coincidence (I don’t think so!) but my daughter’s recent test scores in this subject have really improved. Gaia is patient and understanding and is flexible to the needs of my daughter who is on the dyslexia pathway. I would highly recommend Central Tutors. The set up and payment process is seamless.

Rebecca is a superb tutor for my son. She’s been encouraging and patient. His confidence in and enjoyment of biology has improved exponentially. She plans each session and check she’s covering all the parts of each unit he’s ensure about. We’re so pleased Central Tutors found her.

Charlotte is a great biology tutor for my son. She helps him by going through topics that he was struggling to understand and presets them in a way that he can get his head around. The sessions are engaging whilst covering each topic in detail, followed by practice exam questions to ensure his understanding. Charlotte is friendly, flexible and overall an excellent tutor who I strongly recommend.

I was recommended Central Tutors by a friend who used them. I initially met with Jamie to discuss our son’s weaknesses and we agreed a plan for both Maths and Physics tuition at Nat 5 level. So far these sessions have been going well and helping to cement learning in both subjects our son has been struggling with. Jamie helps tutor our son in Maths and Daniel in Physics. After an initial consultation and listening to what we were looking for he paired my daughter with Gaia for both subjects. They have a great knowledge of the exams and levels - especially SQA. I felt other companies I contacted a little impersonal but the focus has very much been on my daughters needs. Gaia has been excellent as a tutor and has offered both room to work on problem areas as well staying true to what is likely to come up in the exams. I researched quite a few tutors before booking with Central Tutors and it's been really worthwhile and we are happy we went the them - it's given my daughter more confidence to work through these subjects 1 question at a time and break down the Highers in to more manageable chunks. Great company and an excellent tutor.
