I bid online through Live Auctioneers on a piece of art - I was able to watch the auction live as the lot was auctioned. The final sale price for the artwork was nowhere near my max bid - so I can vouch that the system is fair for online bidders. Shipping was fast and also fairly priced at $40 FedEx. The artwork arrived in a substantial shipping tube with no damage and condition was excellent as indicated.

decent treatment and very little friction. they even met me on a Saturday by to fit into my schedule and then changed to the carrier i prefer for shipment. I'm sure they'll soon send the provenance that was promised, so will give a 5-star on faith!

I acquired a framed lithograph, which was securely shipped the next day (crazily well-packed) arriving a week early. Enclosed was very interesting background information about the artist and the work. Price and shipping reasonable. Definitely a trusted gallery.

They would not respond to messages sent before the online auction regarding the condition a painting I was interested in. Finally I called them and the girl I spoke to was very nice said they actually didn't have the painting in their possession but were just sent photos of it from the owner. So they didn't really know the condition but felt all his items that were being auctioned were in very good condition. I bid on the painting and won it and when received it was very impressed with the packing job they did. It was boxed within another box and plenty of foam packing in between the two boxes. The painting did have some cracking and small pieces of paint chips missing in certain areas but this can really only be seen when up close...so overall I am happy with the painting and the packing job but not happy with the no response when I messaged them before the auction.

Great art at great prices

I had some artwork that I wanted to sell. I went onto the internet to research the best way to sell them. Ro Galleries name kept popping up. Having never dealt with them I was a little reticent. However, once I called them and talked with them I found out that I did not have to send my artwork to them until it was sold. The process could not have been easier and they were very professional. When I had questions (and there were many) they always responded quickly. After they received my paperwork and photos, they listed my paintings for sale. In a matter of two or three weeks, I received an e-mail that my first painting had sold. I then sent my painting to them and within a week received my payment. They made the process very easy, were professional and most of all they paid exactly when they said that they would. I could not have had a better experience. I would highly recommend them.

Artwork was as described and in excellent shape. Shipping was quick and efficient and in a strong package that arrived safely. Very pleased with my experience.

All of my shipping concerns were properly and professionally addressed to insure that I received my order - which included both framed and unframed items - in perfect condition. I was impressed with their use of both box-in-box packing and double-walled outer shipping box to make the entire package damage proof. It was proven damage-proof by arriving with all contents trouble free even though the outer box did sustain a tear that apparently the transport company [UPS] covered over with heavy duty clear plastic tape. Nothing inside was disturbed.......impressive! Also, and equally important, each of the items was exactly as described; and, their original descriptions were spot on. In all fairness, while most of the lots had not been inexpensive, neither had they been overly expensive. Shipping was not inexpensive either, but over all, the experience was well worth the costs involved. And after all, isn't that a fair price for complete satisfaction? I know it was and remains so for me.
