I paid 9 € for onetime 2hrs workout. Equipment is in high quality and well maintained, staff is friendly and overall looks pretty clean. One important thing that ruined the whole experience is that there is no cold water fountain anywhere in the gym. It’s a critical thing especially when it comes to fitness centers.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I was in Lisbon for a couple of days and wanted to pop in here To use the gym for a quick 30 minutes. It wasn’t possible to just pay ( either card or cash) at the desk. You had to have the hassle of downloading the app and signing up ( which isn’t ideal when you’re internet isn’t working because you’re in a different country). It cost almost €10 for my pass, which he said was for 24 hours, then when I was clarifying that I’d be able to use it early the next morning ( before the 24 hours was up) only then was he more transparent and said NO. All this aside, I was appalled that I didn’t have access to the water fountain to refill my bottle because it was for members only. I have been to a lot of gyms over the years In MANY different countries, and never have I been denied access to the water fountain. Finally, there was a very poor standard of hygiene, which is unacceptable given that we are only just emerging from a pandemic . There is no tissue in this gym to clean down your machine or weights. Instead, there were the same two grubby black clothes that everyone used to wipe their sweat away. Disgusting. Do not go here.

Fitness Hut in Aveiro is really good and nicely located in the biggest shopping mall in town.

Great experience. Great staff, good and very complete equipment. Locker rooms and good showers. Recommended it.

MyFitness gym in Riga, Latvia did not recognize the week pass in the reception. They never heard about TrainAway. The duty manager finally accepted this week pass (after several phone calls).

This is a great app, easy download, few clicks and I'm working out at a nearby gym. Would recommend. Apple Pay failed, but was easy to add a card. Hoping you can expand to more locations soon :)

Used TrainAway to purchase a day pass for FitnessHut Lisbon during a recent holiday. Great idea for an app and I had a good experience using it. Only thing I would say is that I wish the app could be a little more clear on what's involved with what you buy. For example I was under the impression I was purchasing a day pass, in reality it was just a 2hr visit. Not that big a deal that the review will lose a star, but would have been nice to know about that. Happy nonetheless and I'm sure the app will continue to grow and improve!
