United Kingdom | 19 December 2020Absolutely love the oud oils I've bought from Luxe Oud. The vintage assam ones are so smooth, floral and layered. I can't get enough of the pleasant aroma which instantly calms and transports you to another world, somewhere ancient and enchanted. It's hard to put into words but it's an addictive sensation. The Cambodian Ouds (Royal and Malaki) are more animalic/barnyard-like, lovely when blended with other perfume oils. Can be worn alone for a multi-note experience with good longevity, but I also like to layer a few dabs of oud oil with oud-based niche perfumes to instantly transform them into much richer, long-lasting scents. Of course, even niche brands rarely use real oud, so this makes them much more special.
