United States | 04 September 2022Respectfully, I read some good reviews on this company, so I decided to try to get some added life insurance from them. This is the type of customer service and facing that I received from this company. 1) After submitting all needed information, I waited for about 3 weeks and got like two robo type emails from the company stating that their "underwriting team" was backup with work ect. So I emailed Fabric customer support and was told the same thing, and I will get a notice either I'm approved, ect.. I politely emailed back that is ok I'll wait. 2) I waited two more weeks, now is been over "a month" and I received back a rude email stating that again the "underwriting team" is in the process and if I did not want to wait that I could have customer service pull my request for life insurance. Again... Think about this... It's be OVER one month. So, foolishly as well as POLITELY I said ok I'll be patient and wait. 3) About over a week AFTER para 2) above, I got a strange email stating I need to install a phone app to get what they (Fabric) was going to offer me for life insurance. It was WAY to higher of an amount and I wanted lesser coverage. I emailed customer service TWICE to see if I could get lesser coverage and tweak that amount that was being offer.. Just for SOMEONE to work with me... And NO ONE responded back to me. 4) About two weeks now from the above para 3), I received two emails from this Fabric company, stating to me that my current application was "withdrawn" because THEY Fabric "as the application submitted was for our previous insurance carrier partner.." - So because THEY delayed for so long and then changed so called "previous insurance carrier partner" they totally got rid of my application. After waiting way over A MONTH.. Does that seem fair or courtesy? Conclusion: Respectfully again, I've actually worked for years in quality assurance and training people on tier/3 and 4 help desk / call centers.. And there is some HUGE issues with this company. I was treated not as valued new customer but quite the opposite and very much shown a HUGE lack of professional courtesy and care. I need to do a bit more checking on this company, because I felt like I maybe the customer service desk is overseas and perhaps outsourced maybe? Regardless on that, I would be 100% fine in regards to getting any follow ups, but making me wait to be approval of my application, AND being rude and asking me if I wanted to pull my application in the interim.. And then to wait, not get anyone from customer service to help me and THEN tell me that my application is withdrawn because Fabric is changing so-called insurance carriers AFTER WAITING WAY OVER A MONTH (which is HIGHLY strange).... I wasted a lot of my time with this company and I DO regret that this company wasted my time and treated me so poorly.

They got back weeks later after spending time filling out a life insurance application only to say I don't qualify for a $500k 20 yr term life insurance policy because my income isn't high enough? lol. Strange. Nevermind then; going to a reputable A++ company that everyone has heard of; not 'fabric' like it's a sofa comforter. Amateur name and amateur company.
