United Kingdom | 15 December 2024Enquired about two properties in Portadown/Craigavon area, one was extremely small with no appliances and third bedroom could hardly fit bed in it, so didn't go for it as they were looking 800/month, second property same price but with garage but still didn't feel right, so enquired about a third property just to have gentlemen ring me in a patronising manner asking me why am I looking to see a 3 bedroom house whenever I already seen two before, I explained that the third bedroom was too small on one of them and no appliances so price was not matching what was offered and second property same price third bedroom was too small and too far from amenitiesif you walking, I was then told that money seems to be the problem which it isn't I just want what I pay for and then was told it's normal that third bedroom is only half a bedroom, I explained I live in 3 bedroom in Cookstown on a 6 year old house with all appliances and third bedroom is decent, person on phone chuckled when I said that properties shown to me were not in line with the market and with what I currently have, felt disrespected, undermined and patronised, basically if they show you one or two houses you are just meant to take it, you don't have the right to be selective...honestly I don't know how can they treat people like this but will be pursuing this matter further.
