Jazz It Up Kids Summer Camp is one of the best choices I’ve ever made for my 5yo son. This was our first time there. I was looking for a summer camp that would combine language teaching with real-life practice all in a fun and entertaining environment. When I first checked their website, it was love at first sight and if this happened to you, if what you read on their website seems extremely promising… well, reality goes far beyond expectations. Lale and the other teachers are extremely skilled in both English teaching and child care. The groups are small but heterogeneous and the lessons include activities where all students ‘play’ together (cooperative and peer learning!) and activities that are specifically designed for each age group respecting their cognitive developmental stage and each child’s personality and pecularities. To me, the pinnacle of the camp are the afternoon activities, which are carefully selected so as to come full circle with the day’s topic and allow the children to put into practice what has just been learnt in a fun and memorable way. All the staff are able to create a bond with the children and make sure each one of them is well catered for. Andrea has never been so happy to wake up in the morning to go “to school” and his English has improved enormously in just one week. Last but not least, communication with Lale, the course director, is quick, easy and straightforward, she’s a phone call away in case of need and the information provided is always clear and complete, which is so valuable when you entrust somebody else to care for your kids. I strongly recommend Jazz It Up Kids and will surely go back in the years to come!

It has been the best experience I could ever imagine, not only because of how they learn to function naturally in English in different contexts, but also on a personal level, developing social skills and facing fears. The confidence to interact in English with other children, express your ideas, make new friends...etc. The performing arts-related activities that Lale and her team design for the classes help them become even more creative and lose their embarrassment and gain self-confidence. On the other hand I have to admit that before start the camp I was worried about leaving my son all day in a camp in a big city like London, even more when the children are so young, but from the first moment Lale takes care of every last detail of what they do and informs the parents by whatsapp to that they are calm. Lale and the teachers interact a lot during all day with all students. I have to highlight the organization of the activities, the care and affection with which they take care of the children throughout the day. I have felt that my son was cared for as if he were her own and I am very grateful for that, especially when it is the first time, as was my case, that my son went to a camp and in a city as big as London. To give you an idea of ​​how Lale cares about the children, the days before the heat wave she had made sure that the children would be fine during the activities talking with the head of the centre they were about to visit and instead of taking the metro/bus she organized several taxis to go with the children and the teachers to the activities locations. On the other hand, all days, not only the days of the heat wave, she always bought them ice cream and made sure they were having a good time altogether. Honestly Lale has all my confidence. Her English method is fantastic, the children show interest and participate because they really have fun. I think we have been very lucky to have found this camp and we will repeat for years to come for sure.

My 11yo nieces spent a week with jazzitup. The kids absolutely enjoyed their time with Lale and the team, learning english, playing games and learning through afternoon activities. The team is very competent, friendly, and caring. Great environment for kids. Highly recommended.

When I booked this English course on the internet from Italy I couldn't imagine a perfect week that the one my kids 12 and 9 spent with Jazzitup. All mornings they run into school very happily. First of all because of people, teachers are sweet, lovely, prepared and with a perfect English teaching method. They enjoyed all activities proposed. My nephew, Ettore, came to the UK, from Italy to spend some time with me and learn some English at the same time. He is 10 years of age and it is tough to keep him entertained whilst learning but this is exactly what he experienced at Jazzitup kids’ summer camp. They use actors who engage the children’s attention and creativity which help them to learn. The children are immersed in a variety of activities which keep them entertained . I would highly recommend Jazzitup kids.

My son took online lessons through zoom for a year and Lale is a lovely teacher, patient, interrested by child's interest, my son improved in English by learning through a fun way, he was always looking forwards to his next lesson

It was a great and a wonderful week. I had Lale and London only for me. It was like a magical and fairylike time: learn English at the Tower of London or at Kensington Palace, at the Zoo or at the Royal Mews. It was very very special, learning English with Lale in this London.

It’s been a totally enriching and fun learning with Lale! She’s gentle, kind and patient with both my boys and they absolutely love her ! I have discovered some new aspects about my kids and it’s all thanks to Lale’s teaching and sessions! My boys have become better and stronger and started enjoying the language !!
