Australia | 15 January 2025I actually turned down an employer who offered to pay for me to train with FAP and paid for a competitor out of my own pocket instead. I can't believe how awful these reviews are (but... also, I can?). I've heard awful things about management in this organisation (they seemed to kick it up a notch in 2024), so I'm not surprised that they offer such lacklustre customer service. I have since done a First Aid course with a competitor (St John) who were brilliant. It felt way more aligned with my values, very generous and well-resourced. It really has demonstrated to me how much First Aid Pro lacks, and I will not take a course with them again. I don't typically leave reviews like this unless I really feel strongly that other people would benefit from it. Heed the reviews!

Australia | 15 January 2025This training is so poor I cant believe it has been accredited and continues to operate. Firstly you need to study and complete a test with results of 100%. There is absolutely no indication how long this study component will take to complete. I spent hours doing it but it could take you 8hrs or more. Then the test in which you must get 100% has numerous answers that are incorrect or out of date. You cant get them correct. Whats more the test asks questions that bear no relevance to Medication Administration whatsoever! Ie - questions regarding OHS regulations??? I have been doing Medication Administration Training for over 35years and i have never had a worse experience. Further more I had to travel from Regional Victoria to Melbourne to complete the "Practical Component" - which was, quite frankly a complete waste of time. Nothing learnt - nothing practical about it! What worries me is there are people there who have never given medication before and wont know that this training is appalling.

Australia | 09 January 2025Do not use this companyI did this course in 2022. During the 6 hour class I was sexually harassed by the teacher who then got a hold of my mobile and texted me a number of times. He was subsequently fired but it did not take away from the appalling experience I endured while trying to simply gain my first air credentials. This month my certificate expires and I was sent a renewal- which was very confusing and did not clearly state that I would need to redo the entire course to keep my credentials valid. As a result I booked into the wrong course (CPR refresher). Today I was told that they would not refund my $45 only keeping it in credit for 30 days. And if I wanted a refund that it would incur a 50% admin fee. Not only do this company hire unprofessional staff, they do not see the long term value of their students. There is no way I would book a course with them ever again and warn others to look around before committing their money. You can do the same course elsewhere for less money and with better customer service and professionalism. I would give zero stars if I could.

Australia | 18 November 2024If I could give them -10 I would. They advertised a free course as part of the daily deal. I attended the course a week later then was called in the afternoon and told that there was a glitch in the sytem and they wouldn't be releasing my certificate until I paid them $97. I said that I wouldn't be paying as they had advertised a free course. I was then sent two different invoices, one for $97 and the other for $79 and told I wouldn't be getting my accreditation until I paid. I called three times and was told that the manager was 'in training' and couldn't be disturbed and would call me back, which they didn't do. I also did another course which I paid for, only to arrive and be told that it wasn't actually an accredited course and didn't really count for anything. I have wasted a day off work doing two courses (one of which is pretty much useless as it isn't even certified), and am now having my certificates held to ransom until I pay because of their mistake. Absolutely appalling company and their customer service is non-existent. Go somewhere else for your training.

Australia | 12 October 2024I have recently had a very frustrating experience with First Aid Pro and their booking system. First, the website does not allow you to select the date you prefer when making a booking. This is incredibly inconvenient, especially when planning ahead and needing to align with specific dates. Instead, the system randomly assigns a date, which forces customers to accept bookings that may not suit their schedules. I reached out to First Aid Pro by calling customer service which proved to be a nightmare as they obviously not answering calls, I kept getting an automated answer that I was calling outside their working hours even though I would call within their work hours. I reached out to them on e-mail but they also informed me that there would be a fine for changing the date! This penalty is both unreasonable and unfair, considering the website’s limitations in allowing users to pick dates in the first place. Their service is very dismissive and unhelpful. It is clear that they no interest in resolving the issue or providing quality customer support. I would not recommend this organization to anyone. Be on watch guys!

Australia | 26 August 2024The worst scum I've encountered on Earth. They booked me in the night before the course, I never knew, lost all my money. Complained, paid again, this time they still let me know only the night before, but luckily I saw it this time. I noticed several hours of online work, despite them calling it a "No online, all face to face course" Nope, it's a lie, there is hours of online that you need to do otherwise you can't get certified. Rescheduled for a third time, did not get a wink of sleep and came morning I did not go, called to reschedule, apparently rescheduling needs to be done before the day of the session, not after. $300 is down the drain, and there is nothing to show for it. On their phone waiting message, it says "For a more streamlined communication, please use our website's chat agent" A phone call is streamlined, telling people to go wait in a chat room is pathetic. I tried, was ignored and nobody was there. This company is meant to save lives, instead, they're scum who just want as much money for as little effort as possible. Every time I call I get people from what sounds like the USA, or India or Asia, why? It's an Australian company, hire Australians.

Australia | 16 August 2024Appalling customer service, lazy and meanspirited instructors, serious scam artistry going on. To be kept on hold for an hour to be hung up on is unprofessional. Having it happen 14 times over two days is disgusting. I hope this company goes under - it deserves it.

Australia | 30 June 2024I was a bit worried about using first aid pro after reading these reviews but I really didn't need to be. I booked an in person course and emailed freaking out on the Saturday asking to change to a zoom course as I was anxious. They got back to me the same day and swapped my course to the zoom one the following week. The kit arrived within days. The zoom call, although was at 5:30am on a Saturday morning was really interactive and fun even!! Felicity/Flic was an amazing facilitator, she was funny, clear, concise and engaging! I received my certificate on the Monday after sending the kit back on the Saturday and sending the Aus post receipt to them! All in all I had a really great experience with this company and would definitely recommend!

Australia | 22 April 2024Rescheduled face-to-face cpr course twice, then they couldn't see my quiz work completed so required me to continually repeat the quiz. Offered an online zoom course for triple original price with no compensation of inconvenience after two cancelled sessions. Phone lines hung up on me twice. Very disorganized company with little reliability in their staff or systems. Better off paying elsewhere, did mine online after for $75 certificate that day in cpr. Much better services available- Don't know how this company is still in business.

Australia | 29 February 2024Tried for three days in a row to contact them by telephone. On hold for a very long time and still not answered. Left a message each time, no return call. Submitted an online message, no response. I am wanting a refund from a year ago.

Australia | 28 February 2024Beware a company that knows how to get to the top of google but doesn’t know how to provide good customer service and student experience. I haven’t been treated that disrespectfully and dismissively by a “teacher” since I was in primary school. Back then I couldn’t stand up for myself. Now, I simply will not be treated in that way by another human. I left the zoom and asked for a refund, which the company ignored. Next stop, fair trading.

Australia | 08 February 2024Unnecessarily complicated examination questions that don't reflect the text in the learner guide. Very poor service. Tried to speak to people in writing and on the phone. Ignored. Probably wasted my money.

Australia | 09 November 2023I did my course online 5 days ago and after a phone call, email and then a chat on their system finally received my first Aid Certificate. They mislead in their advertising that you get your certificate the same day. You DO NOT get your certificate the same day with online and they say you need to read the T &C’s. DO NOT ADVERTISE SAME DAY ON THE ONLINE COURSE THEN. They had the tracking numbers could see the kit had been sent back but I had to threaten putting in a complaint with the ACCC and also reviewing them. Do the course with someone else if you don’t want to have to waste your time following up to get a certificate!!!!!

Australia | 14 April 2023I am delighted to share my experience attending the First Aid course at First Aid Pro Adelaide CBD, with Karen as my trainer. This course has undoubtedly been a game-changer for me in terms of my knowledge and confidence in handling emergency situations. Karen was an exceptional trainer who demonstrated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of first aid. Her teaching style was engaging, interactive, and made the learning experience both enjoyable and informative. She was patient, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that all of our questions were answered. Overall, I cannot recommend this First Aid course highly enough. The facilities were excellent, and Karen was an outstanding trainer who made the learning experience enjoyable, informative, and memorable.
