A company i had never heard of before were very good with keeping us informed about our purchase and better priced all round, the delivery was very good as was the gents who bought and delivered the item and would happy to recommend this company.

I was initially quite nervous about ordering from Genesis as they were an unknown company to me but all of those fears have rapidly disappeared. The service I have received from Ty throughout has been second to none! There have been a few issues with my order, with things being discontinued or problems with stock, but I was kept up to date consistently with all my options presented to me, and solutions were found for me, all of which never seemed too much trouble for Ty. What an amazing experience and I wouldn't hesitate to order again in the future. Definitely recommend and my cooker is now here safe and sound!

Despite the additional complications caused by an online purchase from Australia, Dean and his colleagues provided excellent service over many e-mails and phone calls, resulting in an on-time delivery of my new Rangemaster cooker to the freight forwarder. I highly recommend Genesis Home Appliances.

I wanted specific model of range cooker and found one on Genesis website. It took a while for them to source it but they were in contact all the time updating me on the order. Delay was due to their supplier running out of stock. Eventually they found another supplier that was able to deliver it. Great support service.

I ordered a Falcon cooker hood and paid in full. The staff lied to me when I phoned up to talk to them about the order. The person I spoke to told me that they were just in sales so couldn't help me. On further investigation Dean Adams is the sales manager so could have helped. In fact he gave me a full refund when the company did not want to supply the goods and were in breach of contract ( according to citizens advice). The website is full of Falcon products and yet they say that they have no account with Falcon. I have confirmed that the goods are available from Falcon and yet Genesis say that they cannot order them. The goods were still advertised online as I was making my complaint and for many days later. A cowboy outfit is the very politest way of describing them. Only when I got details from company house of the owners and wrote to them did I get a response to my letter but not my email. Such poor service!! I do not recommend them at all

I recently ordered a tumble dryer from this website. The product was shown as "available" when I placed the order, but there was no clear information about when it would be dispatched. I assumed that since it was listed as available, it would be shipped within a few days. The next day, I received a call informing me that the tumble dryer wasn’t actually in stock and wouldn’t be available for another two weeks. After this, they sent me an email with a link to their terms, where it explained that if no dispatch time is shown, the item isn’t in stock. I hadn’t realized this when I placed my order, and I feel this information should have been made much clearer during the checkout process. They offered me a list of alternative products or the option to request a refund. I chose the refund to place an order with another retailer. On January 2nd, I received an email confirming that my refund had been processed, but received it after 13 days, plenty of emails and a few phone calls...

We purchased a new fridge freezer from Genesis and from the initial transaction to the final delivery of the item, everything ran smoothly. Communications were very friendly and polite and the store got in touch to confirm delivery date and again on the day before the delivery was due. The price offered was very competitive and the free delivery service was a welcome added bonus not offered by “larger” companies whose delivery services ranged from £30 to £70 on top of the price of the appliance. Will certainly return again when requiring new appliances and thoroughly recommend Genesis on the basis of this experience.

Ordered a tumble dryer online. Received a phone call promptly to arrange the delivery. The item arrived within the time slot stated and there was no charge for delivery. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely disgusting services do not buy from this company , they took my money for a washing machine in feb then told me week later it wasn’t available and we were told that we could wait 2 weeks which we agreed 2 weeks later still no washing told it will be around 4/4/23 still waiting and then on 6/4/23 refunded my money with no explanation, they sold me a washing machine that didn’t exist Faldo advertising because they wanted me ti but another one , don’t believe what is in there website ,wasted my time and in mean time the washing machine I wanted has gone up in price else where Shocking company DO NOT USE THEM

Excellent service. Needed a Washing machine urgently. Machine bought and installed within 90 minutes as the company was able to lend a member of staff to assist with the transportation of the machine to my property.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with Genesis. We ordered a fridge in January and it did not arrive until May (today)! Each time, it was up to us to phone and ask for an update, rather than the company contacting us with one. We paid for installation and to take away the old fridge and the delivery people today refused to do that and just dumped the new fridge without installation or taking away the old one! We phoned Genesis and they agreed that should have happened, but that's not much consolation when you've been left to deal with the fall-out. Very stressful and disappointing.
