Hawes and Curtis' website is easy to navigate. The shirts are great quality and, especially with offers, very good value for money. I'd like to see a wider range of women's double-cuff shirts and cufflinks. Delivery was fast. Garments well packaged.

Avoid at all costs. Bought 4 shirts 2-3 months ago, two have already ripped by the arm. Been buying TM Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt for 20 years and never had an issue. Check the guarantee period - none is offered here, at the others there is 6 months. Spoke to customer services and apparently it's been too long. So they aren't built to last maybe 6-8 wears (over Christmas and been on holiday since). Looking at other reviews, this is clearly an issue they have had multiple times and possibly why they no longer have a guarantee period. For clarity, the response to this comment is incorrect too - I have NOT accepted any resolution (despite what they say in the response)!

Size chart not true to real life measurements,always go at least size up. The fabric isn't that great,but shirts looks amazing ,not like being in a buttoned potato sack

Good quality shirts as always especially the menswear. However, I found the ladies sizing and fit a little challenging - semi fitted, relaxed fit etc. I am usually a size 12 but found the fitted and semi fitted 12 / 14 quite uncomfortable.

Bought a shirt in the sale and it didn’t fit but they won’t accept returns for sale items. This should be made clear when you buy from their website.

I went my way to buy a superb-looking trench coat from their website. While the stock seems to be diminishing, my size still noted as available. Take to my cart, saying that it’s the last stock, and then proceed to check out. Only to be emailed that the coat is actually not available and, upon clarification, the customer service said that there might be multiple people paying at a relatively similar timing hence I didn’t get the item. Fine. 3 days later, the same coat with the same size is back on their website. Happy, I put it back to my cart and again it’s said to be the last stock! What a chance, right? I proceed to payment and guess what? Same thing happened; CS said stock unavailable and exact same excuse BS. This is problematic esp when they promised to call relevant department during the first fiasco. Seems that the CS doesn’t give a dime about their customer and only serve as a bot giving template explanation to cover for the company’s mistake. The funny thing I realised after my order got cancelled for the second time is that the website immediately remove the stock once I put the coat in my cart; means their explanation is most likely a lie if not a straight fraudulent behaviour. H&S has high quality product with amazing price point - however, if you thought of grabbing one, better come to their physical store rather than being involved with their online team.

I ordered a blouse online. The ordering processing was easy and delivery came 2 days later. Well packaged and very good presentation of blouse. Blouse is well made. I ordered size 12 because I didn't know what the fit would be like because this my first Hawes & Curtis order. That is issue when purchasing online. And did find blouse was big around bust, otherwise fits well. Hence 4 star not 5
