Still waiting for a light I ordered over 2 weeks ago. No explanation nothing.! When I approached them to ask where it is they said they have a problem with the distribution centre and it will take another 10 days to be delivered. I ordered a made to measure lampshade and it took half the time! If I'd known it took that long I would have seriously considered buying elsewhere. Poor customer service, not even an attempt to acknowledge they have done something wrong! UPDATE ON MY REVIEW - as I'm not able to reply on the lighting styles response I will do it here. No, I wasn't approached. I was the one who enquired about the order. No one clarified it takes 10-14 WORKING days at any point. At £4.5 for p&p I would have expected it includes weekend deliveries. Finally I'm afraid I won't be taking them up on the 'kind' offer of a discount in future offers so overall my review remains the same particularly on the business trying to misrepresent my original review

We required some advice and fast delivery on some ceiling fans and Lighting Styles delivered on both counts, would strongly recommend and will defiantly be using again

This is how online supply should be done. I bought some oversized down lighters to cover messy ceiling holes they did the job spot on ,are good quality and arrived quickly.Perfect

Customer service is just as important as the products. The light fittings were great but the lamps included weren't what I was expecting. This has been quickly sorted through an 'online chat' and I am a happy customer!

I loved the look of the 'metal and oiled walnut slimline pendants' but had some questions about them before buying. I spoke with a very knowledgeable and helpful man (sorry I forgot your name, it was a while ago!) who actually fetched one of the lights and then called me back to describe it in detail to me over the phone and provide specific measurements of various components that I was keen to know about. I was therefore able to order in confidence that I was getting something that would work in my kitchen. The lights arrived very promptly and are fantastic - wonderful quality for just £60.90 each. A couple of the lightbulbs I'd ordered were not available. I was written to regularly with updates about my order and when I was offered a refund (which I accepted as I'd found the bulbs elsewhere), the money was back in my account within minutes. I cannot fault the friendly, professional service I experienced every step of the way - or the beautiful lights that I have in my new kitchen. I wouldn't hesitate to use Lighting Styles again and I'd happily recommend them based on my experience.

Do not recommend at all – customer service is great when they are taking your money but once there’s a problem they do not wish to know. I asked to speak to the manager, who apparently is out and they don’t know when they’ll be back! I have spoken to 2 different customer service staff who have hang up on me saying they cannot help. They are not interested in helping to resolve the issue. I regret doing business with them and advise you to steer clear. Response to below reply from lighting stlyes - Firstly – there are no glass shades on my light fitting so how can I report one broken and how can you replace? Are you confusing me with another customer? Secondly – the only words on the stickers was ‘60W MAX’ there was NO sticker that said ‘ do not remove’. The stickers did not leave a mark, it was worse than that, they took of the silver paint on the candle drips, exposing the white plastic. As I tried to explain to you, you wouldn’t buy a coat and wear it with the tags left on would you? I requested that a manager call me back, I was advised they were out of the office for a few weeks and on-one knew when they would be back. Not sure why I should have to write in, I requested that a manager call on their return but my request was denied. Luckily for me another company was able to help! They kindly contacted the manufacturers of the light fitting who are now sending out replacement candle drips….this is what you should have done, you should follow their example and try to help customers.

I ordered my lights and they noticed that I had put the wrong lightbulbs in my basket so they emailed me and checked if I wanted to keep the bulbs I had ordered or wanted other bulbs. Then, almost a year to the date, I thought one of my light had broken and they changed it without any fuss. When I realised it was the dimmer that was broken, they just picked up the light without charge. Can you believe it? Amazing Place. Will use again obviously.

I ordered a light fitting from Lighting Styles and it was delivered as stated. However, that's not why I'm leaving a review. Any company can put something in a box and ship it out on time. What sets a company apart is how quickly it can resolve problems. I had a light fitting delivered with a manufacturing defect which caused it to hang to one side. When I contacted their customer support, I quickly received a reply apologising for the defect (which wasn't their fault anyway) and assuring me they would sort it with the manufacturers. True to their word, the very next day I had another email informing me that a replacement part would be sent out with no need to return the defective item. Thanks to Barry for the great service!

I like to give praise where it is due and my experience with this company deserves it. There was a problem when completing my order. This was sorted with a quick reply from the company statiing that the error had been rectified. Delivery was very quick and the product price competative. I will keep the website in my favourites for use in the future. Thank you once again

This is my second engagement with Lighting Styles. About 2 years ago I ordered a number of their super inset ceiling light converters. They were extremely patient with me when I changed the order (twice !!) because I first extended what I was doing ... and then miscounted !! The lights were delivered really quickly and I was very happy with them. A few weeks ago one of the lights stopped working because the transformer had failed. I emailed to ask if I could buy a separate transformer and the kind person pointed out that it was still under warranty and offered to replace free of charge. For good measure they also sent some bulbs that I had also enquired about. Fantastic service, well handled and guaranteed to make me shop with them again.

I have been blown away this week by Lighting Styles sales and delivery service. I ordered my lights online late on Tuesday night expecting a 4+ weeks lead-time, and they were delivered early on Thursday morning! The delivery was really smooth and on-time too, with good communication by text and email. I have yet to put the lights up, so I reserve judgement on the actual product until they are fitted. I'll be back to let you know what I think. I would however recommend them for their prompt service immediately.

I ordered a light that I loved the look of, but when it arrived the colour was nowhere near that online. Lightingstyles agreed to exchange it for another colour. Three faulty lights later and out of stock products built up quite a relationship with their customer services dept. who were very helpful, but obviously there wasn't much quality control going on. The delay of a month set back my house renovations as the electrician was 'on hold', very annoying.. In the end the matter was sorted ammicably but it was a frustrating experience.

I ordered a bathroom light, 11 days ago. The actual ordering part - where you enter your details and payment - was a nightmare, but I pressed on, because I'd found a light I really liked and they seemed to have a better range than anyone else. So, 11 days later, still no light. I checked my email for the order details. No email. I double checked both email accounts and spam/junk folders. No email. So I looked up the order on PayPal and forwarded the details, asking what had happened to my order. To be fair to them, they did come back the same day and explained that the light I wanted was out of stock. They also said they didn't have any equivalents (despite 2 equivalent lights still being advertised on their website). Staggeringly, they made no mention whatsoever of the £92.69 I paid them. No explanation of how I would be refunded, nothing! I was tempted to find another light on their site, but have now simply asked for a refund as I don't wish to waste any more time. I'm fed up that my money's been taken and my time has been wasted. I just hope that the refund will be forthcoming. Steer clear!

We bought some lights for our new kitchen, and one of the under-lights from a set of 3 didn't work. I dropped them an email saying it was faulty and could it be replaced. Within 5 minutes a representative emailed me saying I would receive another item within 2-4 days. Fantastic! Such a refreshing change for a company to turn a negative into a positive in a few words/minutes. Very happy and highly recommend!
