They had the item I wanted in stock at a decent price, the website was easy to use. And communication was good, the only problem was that they use DPD who let them down. DPD originally gave a delivery day and showed my item was at the local delivery depot and a one hour delivery slot would be given when the courier had left the depot. At 0700 I received an email telling me there was a problem with my parcel and later an email notification telling me it would be delivered the next day, no reason for delay was given. DPD has done this to us before.

It took over a week to get my item, had to phone up twice. Firet time I was told it hadn't come from the supplier yet ,,, second time I was told my order had not been processed correctly and would be sent out again. They did refund, my postage cost which was a good gesture so I would possibly order again from the Tools Today

I bought 3x steel toe capped boots of various styles, including wellies, zip-up & standard ankle boots. All good quality boots & at really good prices. I was concerned at first with the initial purchase email suggesting that dispatch time might be somewhat unhurried, but I ordered early in the week & had them by the weekend, which was perfect, many thanks.

A great purchase let down by ToolsToday having to wait for stock to arrive. No problem with that except they didn't tell me they had run out and I had to chase them up to find out what was happening. They were open about what was happening and as stock reached them on a Monday it was being delivered to me on Tuesday! A wait of a few weeks instead of a few days. That is the reason for the lost star. Would I use them again? Yes, but it will take a while to remove the little niggle over delivery time to me.
