I used to wake up unable to breathe every time I slept on my back and so tied all sorts to my back to keep me on my side at night for two years. I had tests and was diagnosed with sleep apnoea. The consultant recommended eXciteOSA. I did the initial six weeks before I dared trying to sleep on my back again and haven’t woken up gasping once since. I’ve been on twice weekly treatment now for a couple of months and am still sleeping great. This has made a huge difference to my sleep and my daily functioning. I’d forgotten what a good nights sleep was like. The device is really easy to use. It feels fairly painful on high power at first, but over the first two weeks I was easily able to increase the power levels without massive discomfort. Now I am completely used to using it on full power all the time. The support / helpline / chat function on the app have all been great. I’ve felt supported throughout. I had a small problem with interference from a new Fitbit and the helpline sorted this straight away. It’s a small price to pay for not being afraid of sleeping and not being deranged with tiredness during the day. I couldn’t recommend the product highly enough.

United States | 21 February 2024Excite OSA's product works. I have sleep apnea and cannot use the cpap machine. My sleep doctor at Mayo Clinic told me about the program at Excite OSA, so I decided to try it. A program is only as good as its support. The program provides users with information about sleep during therapy sessions. Most importantly, the customer service at 844-645-3672 has answered any question I have ever had.

United States | 30 January 2024Device is simple to use, instructions are very user-friendly, customer service is accessible and responsive. Takes some getting used to the tongue zaps, but the treatment period is quick (20 mins/day) and easy to fit into my morning routine; the quality of my sleep has improved significantly. Well worth it! My doc recommended I continue near-daily use (vs 2-3x/wk) after the initial treatment period, so it is just rolled into my routine and way less intrusive than that horrid CPAP!

The initial six week period was extremely easy to complete and the before/after results were astonishing. Following the initial six weeks my doctor had me use 2-3 days per week and after 18 months my sleep apnea has no affect what so ever with my level of sleep. Great device strongly recommend its use.

United States | 21 December 2023Finished the 60 days and now on 2 times a week. I’m still having symptoms and waking up at least once a night. Using the device isn’t bad. It barely hurts. I’m now on an extension because I need more time to see results. Customer service has been good. I hope it works because I didn’t like the CPAP and don’t want surgery.

United States | 09 December 2023i’ve been using the excite device for approximately two years and have gone from moderate apnea to mild. ive maintained mild apnea for about a year and a half and have never slept better. highly recommended. one more thing : excite’s customer service is outstanding. always available and responsive.

United States | 02 December 2023After being diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, my neurology team suggested using the Excite OSA device. I did the initial daily routine, then the weekly routine afterward. My follow-up sleep study showed a 45% improvement! I was sleeping better, and my wife rarely complained of my snoring. My dentist (who sells a different sleep apnea device) was so impressed with my results, he was going to look into carrying it in his office! I recently had an issue with the control unit not charging. After a brief chat through the Excite app, I have a new unit on the way. I could NOT be happier!!!

My life changed when I began my Therapy with eXciteOSA! After 10 days of therapy my sleep improved immensely! I was never a prolific snorer, but now after 40 days my wife says I don’t make a sound! United States | 29 November 2023I was so excited to get the ExciteOSA device in April of 2023 and paid $1,650 (the insurance did not cover it), plus renewal of the mouthpiece for $75, and diligently used the device every morning for over 100 days. I had a sleep study in August and my doctor told me that the sleep apnea was worse. I could not believe it. I was so disappointed. Now I am waiting to get my refund since I returned the device quite some time ago. I have not had any help.

United States | 16 November 2023My husband, Vince, was prescribed an exciteOS device by his sleep doctor, Dr. Abreu. Everything was great until about six months ago. They shut off your unit and do not have replacements. They give you different answers to your questions. I can go on and on. Bottom line is we are looking into ways to shut this company down for the deception.

I have been successfully using it for the past 50 days, and my wife says my snoring has notably improved. The Excite app is very easy to use, and helps keep me on track as far as my progress. Everyone at Signifier Medical have been wonderful to work with. Keith initially walked me through every step, and went into great details to ensure I felt comfortable. Cristin also has been very helpful, and gave me some great tips to keep my device clean and working efficiently. Definitely happy with my purchase, with the service, and I would recommend using the exiteOS.

I’m nearing the end of the first phase of the 42 days trials and have noticed that I wake a lot less from my sleep pattern and feel more rested apon waking. It’s easy to use, yes a bit expensive but if I knew then what I know now that this is the one item that’s going to make the most difference I would have just spent the money on this. . Don’t waste your time and money on the cheap gimmicks and quick fix items. Try eXciteOSA. They have a money back guarantee and trial period so I thought what the heck. I do still have the odd snores but I would like to think that long term use will help reduce this further.

United Kingdom | 06 November 2023I used the Exite osa product for the recommended 6 weeks every day and then followed the mainteneance as preciribed, Very dissapointed to say that on a review by my sleep clininc, my episodes of osa, were no better than the first time I was tested 10 years ago. Despite the fact I am fitter healthier and go to the gym 3 days a week. The Exite product did nothing for me, need a refund

Canada | 31 October 2023I'll admit, I was skeptical of this treatment - $1,600+ CAD for this little mouthpiece and Bluetooth device? I figured it was worth a try to avoid using a CPAP machine... and I have to say, I'm very impressed with the results. I do notice being able to stay asleep for longer periods of time, and I feel more well-rested in the mornings. The treatment is very non-invasive and takes up very little time... so long as you adhere to the schedule, I think this would work well for anyone with mild sleep apnea. Great stuff!

United States | 27 October 2023I was initially a bit skeptical about their claim of turning type-2 muscles in the tongue to type-1, but after going through the buildup phase of six weeks, I felt a noticeable improvement in my alertness during the day. I have mild OSA and mostly struggle with tongue base collapse (as seen during a drug-induced sleep endoscopy) so this is the perfect non-invasive therapy for me.

I really tried with this product—three six-week episodes and a few more weeks on maintenance with only about three total weeks of non-use. My sleep study results after the first six weeks indicated, however, that I was snoring louder and more frequently than I was prior to using the product. I was so hopeful, and then so disappointed. I continued using the product in the hope of improvement, but my snoring has worsened. I did not pay the initial $150 renewal, and am now locked out of the app, so I cannot know if further use would be beneficial in my case. This product was so expensive and did not work for me at all. I should be entitled to a refund.
