Getting the item and getting the order right…A +. Having the original item break in the first place, price of item and not being able to talk on the phone with someone…..D- at best.

I'm in my 70s, grew up in NYC and was always aware of the D'Angelico brand as the pinnacle of jazz guitar lutherie. I wasn't a jazz guy by any stretch, however, so it was a distant love affair to be sure. I've been playing since age 15 and I did play "professionally" in NYC and New England bands and bars, and eventually in Hollywood recording song demos with Richard Orshoff (Jackson Browne's first producer). After a few frustrating years, I escaped and got a real job in a big city. Music became more of an avocation, though I've always kept my hand in, play out whenever the opportunity presents itself, and even recorded a CD with a band on Maui. Anyway, since becoming aware of the "resurrected" D'Angelico company a few years ago, I have followed with great interest its evolution. Recently I decided to take the plunge with a Premier Atlantic Oxblood. I wanted to go for the Deluxe with the ebony board, A4 Seymour Duncans, and hard case but couldn't really justify the price at this juncture in my life—especially with a wife to keep happy on the touchy subject of Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Yet I still wanted to scratch some of that old D'Angelico itch from my childhood. I was not in the least disappointed. This is a superb instrument, almost incomprehensibly good at the price point, well worth it at even $500 more. One thing I don't recall being mentioned in the reviews is the ergonomics of the body. They rave about the incredible neck heel, fit and finish, the iconic art-deco headstock, and etc., yet not the body dimensions. I'm 6'1" so maybe it's just me, but I have always found Les Pauls a little too small, yet until I held the Atlantic I didn't realize how much more comfortable a Les Paul-style guitar could be. The larger width of the Atlantic somehow makes my right hand fall naturally right where it should be without needing any support at all. Great job, guys! I even took advantage of the 30% discount for registering my instrument and bought a couple of logo tee shirts. I'm now happily advertising your brand, and that old itch has been successfully scratched.

Great experience, and great store in Aspen. They hooked my daughter Mikayla up on a Microphone, guitar and AMP and let her play for the store. Ended up buying the guitar. She loves it!

Order went pretty well. I thought there'd be screws with the truss rod cover but guess not.

Service could have been a little friendlier. Also no guitar case available for purchase strikes me as kind of odd.

I enjoyed your items listed for sale, and I enjoyed a video of a guitar master playing one of your Deluxe products. I recommend you list reviews of your guitars so all can read them and consider your guitars for their next purchase. Cheers, Big Mike

I recently purchased a Deluxe SS Limited Semi Hollowbody. This quickly became one of my favorite guitars! I am fascinated by the history of the company and like the direction it is going. My most recent purchase was a couple of T-shirts, which I will wear proudly, and the brown Italian Leather guitar strap which is amazing! Keep up the good work! I have found a new "old" brand to follow! I now have to spend more time dusting off my G, F, and P guitars...

I recently ordered a new D'Angelico Gramercy Premium from Musician's Friend. The guitar came on time, was packed very well & the accessories I ordered through D'Angelico's website were great complements to the guitar! I am extremely happy with the guitar & will definitely be a repeat customer!

As a vintage instrument enthusiast, acquiring my D'Angelico Deluxe 59 is 'off-brand.' As it turns out, it is a modern guitar assembled using high-quality modern guitar tech but with massive vintage appeal. The single-cutaway f-hole body screams classic semi-hollow body design. Add the gold stairstep tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, Grover 509 tuners, generous mother-of-pearl fretboard inlay, cream binding, and a gorgeous creamy satin brown burst finish (my favorite), and you've got an instant classic. Top all that design detail off with a couple of cream cover Seymour Duncan D'Angelico Great Dane P-90s (neck and bridge), and you have one very modern yet vintage-looking instrument. Plus, it's super-light, with a near-perfect (for me) C-shape set neck, so it's a very comfortable guitar to play, strapped on or across the knee. I'm playing it through a Line-6 Spider V 240, so my options for tone are nearly limitless. Even so, the distinctive P90 sounds of any pick-up combination on the Deluxe 59 are a fantastic place to start designing guitar tones. For playability, quality, design, fit and finish all at a very reasonable price point, I give my new (vintage!) D'Angelico Deluxe 59 5 STARS out of 5!

Wrong item was delivered, but the mistake was promptly fixed upon redelivery. Still, there was no tracking number assigned during the second time and it meant at least one week of a delay. Also, the bridge should have come with the original screws. I was surprised after paying 100usd. The original bridge rusted to the point of breaking. I am buying this item not to make any further holes to this guitar, but the quality is not quite on target.

I ordered a case for my Fulton Premier 12 string. I was initially sent the wrong sized case. But Tim Diaz was so helpful and quick to respond the exchange was virtually painless. I appreciate his attentiveness to my situation.
