Fantastic experience in the Wacky Wabbit. I had the great pleasure of learning about which Battle of Britain maneuvers the pilots of that time had to use to evade or attack the enemy and then actually carry them out in the air! It's a very relaxed & friendly atmosphere. I'd recommend it to anyone who can stomach the G forces :)

I've been hoping to fly in a Harvard for quite a while and it's finally crossed off my bucket list as a 75th birthday present. The experience in Wacky Wabbit at Fenland exceeded my expectations and I'm glad I went for the Battle of Britain option. Pilot Dave Petters gave a clear explanation before and during each of the manoeuvres and his skilful flying through them showed just how demanding it would have been for young fighter pilots to keep up the intensity of flying in combat day after day. The 'Split-S turn', pulling 4g, was particularly memorable amongst a series of steep turns and rolls. I had a number of goes 'in control' which added to the fun. I'm very proud that I now have a Harvard flight in my logbook which will stand out from my more sedate microlight hours.

A brilliant "Battle of Britain Experience" flight at Fenland Airfield. The flight in Wacky Wabbit was impressive, and the whole experience was enhanced by pilot David Petters enthusiasm in relating the various aerial manoeuvres we did to WWII aerial combat.

I had been looking forward to this for a long time. Unfortunately with Covid lockdowns it was a long time coming. However when the day finally arrived I was not disappointed. The team were excellent in explaining everything and allowed my wife airside when it was my time to go. The aircraft is in fantastic condition and obviously well looked after. Dave the pilot was very informative and briefed me on what we would be doing. I felt very confident as he told me before every manoeuvre why a pilot would do it in battle conditions. It made me appreciate what those guys had to do just to survive in the Battle of Britain. Being allowed to take control of a historic aircraft was an unexpected bonus. Pulling 4g was amazing as well. I would like to say thank you to all involved and good luck for the future.

We just had our long awaited flight on this old plane.....In my opinion, it definitely lived up to the description given and more. What an experience! It also handles smoothly and is touch sensitive....Holding the trottle and moving through the cear, sky was satisfying. If anything....too short a flight for me. I'm looking forward to the next one!

What an amazing ride in the Wacky Wabbit. Thanks to Dave the pilot for a truly memorable battle of Britain experience and for talking through all the manoeuvres and really bringing it all to life. To feel the 4g was unbelievable and to do it all in a real war bird was something I will never forget. I would recommend any flight in her to anyone as she is a very smooth ride but if you are up for the aerobatics you have yo try it. Thanks also to Mike for settling the nerves and for him and Donny keeping the family entertained while I was off for a flight of a lifetime.

Thank you for a lovely day. The Wacky Wabbit is such a joy and beauty. The aerobatic handling is so firm and smooth. So pleased with this first warbird experience and the personal entry in the logbook. Thanks to David, Donny and Mike for this friendly and exciting experience. Also thanks to the staff in Conington for the pilots' fuel. So glad it finally happened on a beautiful day with great company. - from 3 happy BWPA pilots.

Fantastic experience. Full set of acrobatics, even got to fly the plane myself. One of the bucket list. Not many things i can say i would do again having experienced it for the first time but this ranks amongst my top3 to do again!. Not many adventures you can say that you took part in were as a copilot on a 4G stunt...

I had been really looking forward to the Battle of Britain flight in the t6 from conington, what an amazing experience; relaxed and professional from the start, the run through of the moves, and their purpose during the flight gave a memorable day. It really helped you imaging what it would have been like to fly all those years ago. Well done to all the team there, it’s worth every penny and more

My husband's aerobatic flight in Wacky Wabbit was a fantastic experience! He really enjoyed the flight - the aerobatics were amazing and he was able to take the controls for parts of the flight. Wacky Wabbit is a beautiful example of this historic aircraft and the pilot, David Petters, really showed what she can do! The T6 Harvard team were really friendly and helpful throughout - many thanks to all of them, especially David Petters, Andrew Goodall and Mike Day. My husband and I would highly recommend T6 Harvard and the Wacky Wabbit aerobatic experience.

Excellent is an understatement for both the aircraft and the team of Mike Cumin and Mike Day. A brilliant experience despite the weather. The guys flew over to Old Warden as the weather opened a little. Flying with Mike C was great, as we picked our way around the weather and the support from Mike D was superb. Just a brilliant time - recommend to any person remotely interested in flying. MA

Thank you so much for an amazing experience. I loved every second of it. The roll was fantastic, I was a little worried about hanging upside down up so high but I loved it. The two Mikes were both brilliant and could not have been more pleasant. I hope it is working out for you all as it really is a unique experience and should be kept going. The plane is a beauty and in great shape. Paul Masek

If you are thinking about taking a flight in Wacky Wabbit - don’t think, sign up! I flew with Mike Cuming at Old Warden yesterday and it was an amazing, truly memorable experience. Mike took time to find out about my flying experience (PPL and gliding) and then explained every aspect of the T-6 operation pre-take off. Once in the air it was ‘you have control’ until just before landing… except for the aerobatics which were awesome! Again he explained the procedure with me following through on the controls. What a brilliant plane and brilliant pilot. In a weather impaired day things must have been difficult for the team but they handled it calmly and professionally to make sure everyone who was signed up to fly got a brilliant experience. I can’t recommend the flight highly enough.

Cynthia is still laughing (as am I) about her flight experience at Old Warden today. The two Mikes got her into the cockpit (needed a shove up !) the flight was a unique experience and back on the ground the two Mikes caught her when she fell out of the cockpit ! Lovely - thanks guys (we’re still chuckling) and enjoying her expressions on the video, especially doing a Victory roll ! Great day - have a go, you won’t regret it. David Pilgrim 040721

Absolutely fantastic day. Harvard arrived into Peterborough-Connington from Duxford. Relaxed introductions and then straight into it. Stuck to their timelines and the flight itself was brilliant. Plenty of chat with the pilot and an experience i will not forget. Thanks all
