Delicious food. Higher than average price but tastes very good. Lacking in customer service. They often respond on X with perfunctory words stating that they will follow up on any issues (I had a packaging problem). They never follow up beyond this. See X and ask one of the multitude of customers who they have dealt with like this. 4.5 stars for ready made food. 1 star for customer service hence rounded up to 3 stars overall.

Avoid the smoked haddock gratin - it's sooooo salty it's inedible

Just had your lasagna and it is by far the single best ‘pop in the oven’ ready meal lasagna I have ever had. Wow I am converted, it is amazing

Absolutely worth every penny. Never have i eaten such consistent high quality tender chicken. I am venturing into the entire range now and yet again 100%. It is dearer than other other ranges but when you have it it's clear as to why. I actually genuinely worry that they won't be able to maintain this very high standard

I and my family have been buying Charlie Bigham meals for several years. The quality in the first instance was appreciably higher. For instance the smaller grain basmati was nutty and better grade; the chicken in the Thai Red and Green curries was Red Tractor standard, not especially high welfare, but concern for the animal has now been entirely sacrificed to the rapacious instinct for eyes on the bottom line. Last night, and for the third time in two weeks, the Thai Green had no lemongrass, in fact it had no flavour at all. We threw the meal away. Goodbye Charlie Bigham you have joined the ranks of endless mediocrity in focusing exclusively on shaving higher profits, ignoring customer experience.

Bought the butter chicken today from Tesco. Had with pilau rice and I must admit it was amazing, really creamy.

It looked good I have to say, and there was so much about it to like. The crispy gratin like potato topping had a great texture, there were real pieces of white fish, and spinach in the sauce, but more than anything else there was salt, so much salt, no other flavour but salt, it smelt good in the oven, it came out with a crisp top, man we were ready for it. SALT, SALT, SALT industrial amounts of salt, and I like salt, but this had so much you could have cleared a winter iced covered road with it. Shame

Have bought these ready meals before and the curry’s are delicious. Tonight though my husband and I tried the moussaka and were do disappointed. I don’t mind paying premium prices if the quality is there but this meal doesn’t come under that category. Three quarters of the dish was aubergine with very little potato and tasteless sauce.

My wife recently needed a pacemaker fitted. Fabulous NHS, but we gathered Covid on the journey. Fortunately we had Charlie’s fish pie and Lasagna in the freezer and Hello Fresh delivered STP and BBP. Well done Charlie and thanks for the ‘I feel better now’ recipes.

We’ve been enjoying CB’s recipes for quite some time now. It’s interesting when I go to recycling & find we’ve tasted so many of the fabulous dishes. Just love the Indian & Thai Curry nights. Cottage pie or fish pie & fresh steamed vegetables… Awesome. Then there’s the puddings🏆… Hard to pick a favourite as they are all so tasty 🤗. Thank you Charlie… keep em coming & we’ll definitely continue enjoying the classics and trying the new ones too👌

I had seen these ready meals when out shopping ,so i had to try them. They taste fantastic, especially the chicken tikka masala, it is full of flavour with melt in your mouth chicken pieces and lovely sauce and a side of rice . I will definitely be buying more and trying the rest of the range.

We just bought a Thai Green Chicken Curry for 2 Great flavours but where is the chicken….?! Very disappointing and certainly not worth the money👎

Yesterday I bought a lasagna,when I got to the checkout I got a bit of a shock since the price was 9.50 pounds. I used to buy a lasagna when it was 8 pounds so I never looked when I grabbed one. As an Italian I can actually make lasagna, I guess I'll just make my own again

We have eaten many Charlie Bighams meals in the past and the quality was good. Have just eaten a lasagne today (27 May 2024) and it was absolutely awful. Just a sloppy mess on the plate. Far too much loose sauce which was very acidic in taste. Most of it went in the bin!

We've been enjoying the Chicken Tikka Masala for a few Years now, but the past few months its been disappointing. It's now bland,watered down and has not as much Chicken. Not good value for money anymore.

These meals were our treat,However the last two have been disappointing. 1st a chicken tikka /very little chicken,Then tonight the lasagne was awful/ a sloppy mess the only thing we could taste was a cheap bitter tomato 🍅 taste.I will think twice before I buy Bingham products again .

Bought the fish pie as a weekend treat. Really disappointed as there appears to be more mashed potatoes than fish. There actually were no prawns and I struggled to find any white fish. The dish seemed to comprise mainly of pieces of salmon and lots of mash. The company are obviously trying to cut costs and I definitely will not be buying again, especially at £9.50 a fish pie!
