I bought a chicken in White Wine meal to share with my elderly parents. Although it was fairly pleasant, we all thought it was far too salty for our liking so will not be buying one again.

We have these dishes quite a bit and they are to die for, pretty special, they are worth the money, especially the curries. The best we have had outside a restaurant, in fact better than most restaurants and takeaways, go on…spoil yourself

Despite the dodgy positive reviews on here the quality of Bighams food clearly getting progressively worse in an effort to cut costs & increase profits. Just had a Thai Red curry at my sister's (I wouldn't buy anymore). It was basically a few bits of processed meat in watery tasteless sauce.

My wife & I absolutely love the Charlie Bigham's range of food. We haven't tried them all yet but always know they'll taste great and the quality is excellent. The only problem we have is wanting more when we've finished (not that the portions are stingy)!

Always been a fan of Charlie Binghams. Easy and usually delicious meals for when time is tight. However last week I bought their chicken satay for two, which must have contained half a chicken breast at most. I had to add extra chicken in it to feed my wife and I. I know times are tight, with high inflation, and everything is getting more expensive, but you are paying £9 for a ready meal you expect it to meet certain standards, which appear to no longer being met.

I have been purchasing these meals since the lasagne and curries first appeared in our local Tesco several years ago. I loved these and still do but…, Last couple of years lots of new meals have appeared along with sides. I shall be sticking to what I know and love because I haven’t enjoyed any of these new offerings nearly as much. As for the sides I’d give zero stars I’m sorry to say. The chips with rosemary at a whopping £4 for a portion were the driest and worst chips I’ve ever tasted so much so they went in the bin. I agree with comments made by a fellow reviewer that rosemary does not go well with chips anyway. Same with the vegetable medley you cook in the oven - I followed instructions to the letter and was left with burnt broccoli tasting like it had been on a bonfire. If a company are charging this much for ready meals then the product has to be spot on to justify the cost. So yes I love their lasagne, it’s like home made and curries are restaurant quality. These meals are what CB do best so I’d suggest sticking to them and ditching the sides and overpriced desserts ! Just my opinion others may disagree…..

I have always loved Charlie bigham meals. They're tasty and portioned perfectly. Tonight, however, I had the Spanish chicken and potatoes. Usually great but a few of the chicken pieces were gristley, which automatically makes me gag. I've noticed the quality of ingredients in many dishes I normally have has deteriorated. Think I will eat more vegetarian options.

I bought the cauliflower cheese as a compliment to a Sunday roast and really couldn’t believe how delicious it is. I eat out quite often so have tried lots of cauliflower cheese and this is by far the best I have ever had. I 100 percent recommend this and will be buying this again, thank you for a delicious dish

Tried the Chicken Tikka Masala for the first time, was absolutely delicious, usually these sort of meals are a 'much of a muchness' but this was the best I have tasted. Was very creamy, plenty of chicken, definitely worth a try.

We just love Charlies Chicken Tikka & Rice. It tastes just like it would if it had been made in your own kitchen. Their Mac Cheese is yummy too, the only Mac Cheese my young granddaughter will eat - and that's a real compliment!

Chicken Tikka Masala Absolutely on the point ! Authentic taste, creamy texture and perfect portion size.. I have tried a lot of places (in the UK) but none seemed to have matched this flavour 😋 and the well balanced after taste of the Indian whole spices. Keep up the good work 👏

There's a reason Chicken Tikka Masala is Britain's favourite meal and CB did it more than justice, super tender chicken, rich creamy and fenugreek heavy sauce with a perfect hit of heat - absolutely delicious! Yes it its pricey when compared to its supermarket piers, but its worth it and is still half the price you'd pay for a meal for 2 at the local Indian takeaway and in my humble opinion is better.

Yet another company taken to posting their own fake positive reviews unfortunately. My goodness quality standards certainly gone down hill last couple of years. Very little to set these dishes apart from basic supermarket brands now - except the price that is...

The new side dish - chips. Oh dear. Nothing is right with them except their appearance on cooking. They taste squishy, like mashed potato rolled in far too much semolina (you can taste this way, way more than you should). The rosemary is just wrong and does not belong on a chip. They were truly awful for a company whose products are usually worth paying extra for. Yuk. Most were left uneaten and, at £4, this should not be the case

Just to face reality that the pre-packed meals from Charlie Bighams are very good, very tasty, very well proportioned - yes very good value for money.
