I'm always wary of handing over cash to someone I've only spoken to over the phone but Magna had my money converted at the rate I wanted in my foreign Bank account within 2 days (immediately on their side but then the transfer took the 2 days). The rate is better than any over the counter available to most people and with no hidden fees.
