United States | 15 May 2024The simplest possible property sale (a 10-year-old purpose-built apartment in a cladding-free building under 18m of height with neither party having a chain), which should have taken 2 months maximum, dragged on for 5 months. To give just one example of Taylors Legal business practices which make the Post Office look like a well-oiled machine: Abbie sent an email to the management company, which went completely ignored for 3 weeks, yet did not consider it appropriate to follow up via email, inform me or - goodness forbid - call them, given most office workers these days seem allergic to telephones. Had I not enquired about progress and found out, it would easily have dragged on for another month, however, as I decided to do the unthinkable and call the company myself, a miracle happened and their response materialized within 24 hours. This was, nonetheless, a pattern that formed over the subsequent 4 months, as every tiniest matter requiring clarification from another party entailed my following up over the phone on behalf of Abbie and Elliott. Unsurprisingly, they charged me extra for the privilege.

Part of my chain of house removal, lied and deceitful all the way through, cost me extra money, I told amounts of unhappiness and affected my relationship and I nearly lost a house sale due to them. One action was meant to take 10 days maximum, this took four months and they can’t even be bothered to answer calls or E mails! If you have no other choice for a legal firm other than Taylor’s legal it’s simple, change your plans! Can I give less than 1 star

United Kingdom | 27 July 2023Far too slow and ineffective at times. Communication was poor and often dragged on unnecessarily, particularly when Titiana Valea was involved. Far too often her work was left undone and she wouldn't reply to questions or her replies were vague or unclear. I had the feeling that, most of the time, she wasn't there doing any work. Then she got shirty when I pressed for answers. Overall I would not advise anybody to use this company service, or at least if Titiana is involved. Too much aggravation really that can be avoided by going elsewhere for legal support

Not only did they offer a high level of professional expertise, but they also delivered a high standard of customer care, which went a long way during what was an extremely stressful process. They were communicative, pragmatic and diligent from end-to-end, and also very reasonably priced. Well worth their fee. I have had a possession case adjourned by 10+ weeks due to errors made by Ashley Taylors Legal team. This is all documented and traceable. Costing me over 2k per month whilst waiting for a new date Yet they've requested payment for correcting of their own errors! I'd question their duty of care even to a point of being negligent Charging is random and not based on industry standard unit pricing of 6 mins but hourly pricing Even 10 mins is charged at 60 mins !!

Considering the extortionate fee’s that they charge, the service we have received has been appalling. The Solicitors are poor at managing expectations, calls remain unanswered and no one has the decency to return your call. The Solicitor assigned to our file, Danielle Marsh, was unhelpful, unprofessional and a pain to deal with. Absolutely pathetic. Take your business elsewhere - this firm is a waste of money, time and your efforts.

A very disheartening experience. Immoral T&C's. Threatened to charge me even more money if I did not pay some of their rediculous T&C's. It is not good to treat customers unfairly like this!

Although I had no complaints with the paperworks, I find their service to be unprofessional. I am a person who thrives in planning and structure and I find them disorganized. Lack of focus and communication, unreliable in time frames and in managing expectations. No transparency in terms of the cost. They did not value my time as much as I valued theirs. Whenever a developer recommends a solicitor, do a background check on them. I would not recommend a firm that is mediocre to my family and friends. -Jose M.
