Laura Lockett, wonderful service and very pleasant person!!! I met Laura as she contacted me indirectly via my personal assistant as I have lived and worked many years in the UK and had a very complex pension situation to unravel which I never had the patience or the know how to tackle...Laura took over the situation in the most efficent way: explained the whole process, pros and cons, came to visit in my office several times and established direct contact with my ex employers and pension fund until...magically....all was solved and from 3 private pension funds, I found myself with one manageable and well identified investment...all in the best pleasant and collaborative spirit!!! After a few years of inactivity (dormant fund), it took some time to understand who my personal adviser was (or should be after changes took place within the deVere group) and to get someone assigned from deVere Italia (4 stars for that reason), but once connected to Tony Nightingale, things got sorted. Patient in his explanations, flexible in his availability, regular follow-up on the progress in sorting my affairs (which took quite some time, but not because of deVere). He's a good listener and patient explainer who provides sound advice that he can - and does - always justify if required, but is also flexible enough to offer alternatives when required. He is also honest, rigorous, hard-working and generous with his time. Not only have his proposed investments performed well overall, more than justifying the fairly high costs of deVere's service, but he never loses sight of the big picture and takes account of his investor's overall financial, personal and tax situation and life choices.

I have had Andrew Daglish as a financial advisor for 5 years. At that time I started out with three different advisors as risk spreading strategy. Now I have reduced it to just one, Andrew. Why? Regular review and follow up quarterly or as I request, do actually happen. Transparency of operation, document flows, compliance checks work well. Advice is sound and regularly updated if circumstances change. Performance of investments? Difficult and unfair to assess in comparison to my other two advisors as I have a low-risk profile with deVere as it is a joint investment and the others were personal and higher risk. Andrew is very approachable and happy to discuss concerns, but as in many areas of consulting the only way you can get good advice is if you are open to discussing your needs, concerns and objectives.
